Permanent Concrete Form
20230220666 · 2023-07-13 ·

A Permanent concrete form (construction-block) for Structural Code monolithic reinforced-concrete. Construction blocks are sand-cement steel-reinforced side-panels, with one central embedded steel nut (3/4-10) [M20>2.5] that connects a threaded steel-tie-rod (or bolt) to a second side-panel. Tie-rod can also be #5 (16 mm) welded rebar. Typical side-panel size 500×250×40 mm (20″×10″×1.5″). The central single spacer tie-rod length is sized (width of wall) to provide space for concrete, rebar, thermal-insulation, conduits, ducts, and other embedment. Construction block tested for dry-stacking, and 3 m (10 ft) high anti-blow-out vibrated concrete placement.

Precast wall having increased pouring resistance

The present disclosure relates generally to a precast wall having increased pouring resistance. The precast wall has a configuration by which resistance to the pouring pressure of concrete poured between outer and inner panels is increased, the configuration including rail members buried in outer and inner panels, link members disposed between connection members connecting the rail members in the outer and inner panels to act integrally, and coupling members.

Panel-to-panel connections for stay-in-place liners used to repair structures

A stay-in-place lining is provided for lining a structure fabricated from concrete. The lining comprises a plurality of panels connectable via complementary connector components on their longitudinal edges. Each panel comprises a first connector component on a first longitudinal edge thereof and a second (complementary) connector component on a second longitudinal edge thereof. The lining comprises at least one edge-to-edge connection between the first connector component of a first panel and the second connector component of a second panel, the edge-to-edge connection comprising a protrusion of the first panel extended into a receptacle of the second panel through a receptacle opening. The receptacle is shaped to prevent removal of the protrusion from the receptacle and the receptacle is resiliently deformed by the extension of the protrusion into the receptacle to thereby apply a restorative force to the protrusion to maintain the edge-to-edge connection.

Concrete form assemblies having insulating foam panels are created using locking members embedded within the insulating foam panels and ties each having a pair of side rails for coupling two insulating foam panels together at a predetermined distance apart, the locking members and side rails being adapted so that either side rail can be coupled to either locking member and either of the ends of the rails and locking members can be toward the top or bottom of the assembly when the rails are coupled to the locking members.

A FORMWORK SYSTEM

The present invention provides a system 10 for construction of formwork where a settable compound is pourable into a cavity in the formwork and retained by the formwork to set to form a completed structure. The formwork comprises structural panels 12, 14 connected by adjustable connectors 34 for varying the spacing between the panels.

REINFORCING ELEMENT AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A REINFORCING ELEMENT

The invention relates to a reinforcing element (1) comprising a first (2) and a second reinforcing mat (3) having metal mat rods (6), which are welded at angles to each other at junction points (7), which reinforcing mats (2, 3) are held spaced apart from each other at a normal distance (9) by rod-shaped spacers (8) with respect to the first mat plane (4) and the second mat plane (5) of the reinforcing mats. The spacers are metal (8) and are permanently connected to individual mat rods (6) of the first (2) and second reinforcing mat (3) by welding connections (10), preferably resistance welding connections, wherein at least individual spacers (8) protrude outward at least beyond the first mat plane (4) of the first reinforcing mat (2) in a direction (11) pointing away from the second reinforcing mat (3) by a first protrusion length. The invention further relates to a double wall furnished with the reinforcing element and a method for producing the reinforcing element and the double wall.

Extruded insulated concrete form block system with corner, top and bottom blocks

An insulated concrete form (ICF) system includes a rectangular building block formed of two back to back half beam “C” sections defining a half beam space at each open end of the “custom character” block and defining an intersecting column space orthogonal thereto with interlocking grooves on each corner side of the block. The system also includes a plurality of rectangular building blocks interlocked via the interlocking grooves configured to form a grid of beam space and intersecting column space orthogonal thereto, the resulting grid space configured to be filled with concrete and interstitial rebar to form a concrete wall.

Tilt-up and precast construction panels

Improved tilt-up and precast construction panels and improved methods for creating the same address deficiencies in the current tilt-up and precast construction panels. Improved tilt-up and precast construction panels use less concrete and less steel reinforcement and weigh less than current tilt-up and precast construction panels. Additionally, improved tilt-up and precast construction panels have greater insulative properties (both heat and sound) than do current tilt-up and precast construction panels. Improved tilt-up and precast construction panels require less labor on the construction site, thereby increasing efficiency and profitability of construction crews. Additional advantages of implementations of the invention will become apparent through the following description and by practice of implementations of the invention.
