Joint connector
11608625 · 2023-03-21 ·

A joint connector comprising a hub, two registration caps, a bolt assembly or similar means of connecting the components, and at least two wing pairs. The joint connector is adaptable and thus is capable of creating a variety of different joint networks. Joint connectors can be arranged to connect panel frames and panels for regularly faceted structures and asymmetrical or irregularly shaped structures.

Foldable spaceframe and method of setting up spaceframe structure

Foldable spaceframes that can be easily collapsed and unfolded to construct structurally stable (temporary) walls, for instance for events (concerts, shows, etc.) upon which (digital) display elements can be deployed, as well as a method for the construction of overlying structures comprising the spaceframes.

BUILDING SYSTEM AND PANEL FOR A BUILDING SYSTEM

A building system comprising a plurality of tubes, a plurality of connection nodes comprising tubular sections for connection to the tubes, wherein the tubes are arranged to connect between the connection nodes to form a frame for a building, wherein at least one continuous cavity is formed through at least a portion of the nodes and tubes when the nodes and tubes are connected, the building system further comprising fluid tight seals between the tubes and connection nodes to enable fluid to flow through the at least one continuous cavity.

Systems and methods for joining space frame structures

A strut-and-node truss design that is applicable to all space frame structure designs can be made with using robotic (semi-autonomous and/or fully autonomous) or telerobotic assembly/joining. Nodes can include a 2-dimensional weld path in an effort to reduce the complexity of having to weld in 3-dimensions. Furthermore, each strut to node connection can be concentrated in a small area where each weld can be performed robotically from a fixed position that only requires the robotic weld head to swivel in a small operating window to reach each joint.

TRIANGULAR PYRAMIDAL STRUCTURE, A SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FABRICATING SAME
20220275629 · 2022-09-01 · ·

A triangular pyramidal supporting structure, which has the shape of a tetrahedron made up of elements to form a primary plane, and sloping elements (projecting slopingly upwards from the primary plane and meeting in a junction point. The joining of the elements of the tetrahedron is governed by imaginary lines that are determined by the primary plane. Further, a system has at least four tetrahedrons, and a method for providing the tetrahedron and the system are described.

NODE ELEMENTS, KITS, AND METHODS

Examples of first node elements, second node elements, and kits are disclosed. Also, methods for assembling a lattice structure are disclosed. A first node element has a coupling side, the coupling side further having one or more hollow insertion channels, each channel being configured to receive one of the elongated bars, and each channel having a longitudinal axis, and the longitudinal axis of each channel being tilted at an angle with respect to a plane defined by the coupling side. Moreover, the first node element has a contact side, the contact side having an opening, the opening communicating with each of the hollow insertion channels forming a corresponding through-hole such that to form the lattice structure the elongated bars are inserted into the hollow channels from the contact side to the coupling side and traversing the corresponding through-hole.

A beam-node permanent formwork for casting reinforced concrete is disclosed, which includes using it for the construction of reinforced concrete 3D trusses in the tidal zone and underwater in coastal areas of reservoirs (from 1 to 12 meters deep) by eliminating deformations when filling the formwork with concrete and during operation, as well as by insulating concrete from the corrosive effects of salt water, biological destruction. The shell of the permanent formwork also significantly reduces the adhesion of concrete to ice, which significantly increases the service life of concrete products in the conditions of the sea or freezing reservoirs.
