MODULAR CONSTRUCTION SYSTEM
A construction assembly for a prefabricated building, comprises horizontal elements and vertical elements as well as assembly elements. The horizontal, vertical and assembly elements are formed by a first panel forming one of the longitudinal faces, a second panel forming a structuring layer on the opposite longitudinal face, and an insulating layer disposed between the longitudinal faces. The thickness U of the vertical elements corresponds to the cross-section of the assembly elements, the length of the vertical elements is a multiple of U, and at least some of the assembly elements further comprise fluid pipes and/or electrical cabling.
Earthquake resistant joint
A joint comprising: a tenon, a mortise for receiving the tenon, an aperture formed in one of the tenon and an interior wall of the mortise and a pin which extends from the other of the tenon and the interior wall of the mortise; wherein the aperture is a hole which is engaged by the pin in use such that the tenon is supported within the aperture, and the tenon is capable of vertical and horizontal motion within the mortise in a plane substantially orthogonal to a longitudinal axis of the pin, the motion being limited by the edges of the aperture.
Concealed Hanger
A connector joins a beam to a joist, the connector has two members with mating portions. The mating members are provided with shoulders that engage each other and transmit gravity loads between the members and engage angled fasteners to make the connection.
Connector for two workpieces
The present disclosed subject matter relates to a connector for two workpieces, which are in particular made of wood. The connector comprises a first and a second fitting which may be mounted on one of the workpieces each by their one side and may be anchored to one another by their other sides, and which each have a circumferential edge between their one and other side. At least the first fitting has a projection with an undercut on its other side and the second fitting has a slot, starting from its edge and corresponding to the undercut, for anchoring the projection. At least one of the fittings has a protrusion on its other side and running transverse to the direction of the slot for resting of the edge of the other fitting when the projection is in the position anchored in the slot.
PREFABRICATED STEEL-WOOD COMPOSITE JOINT
A prefabricated steel-wood composite joint includes square pipe columns, steel-wood composite beams, and a beam-column connecting assembly for connecting the square pipe columns and the steel-wood composite beams. Each square pipe column includes connecting corner columns and connecting side plates. Each steel-wood composite beam includes a top flange, a bottom flange and wood webs for connecting the top flange and the bottom flange. The beam-column connecting assembly is a central column connecting assembly or a corner column connecting assembly. By a special structural design, the composite joint realizes effective beam-column connection without a welded connection and a bolted connection and has tenacity and good seismic performance. The components of the composite joint can be prefabricated in a factory, are high in precision and are assembled on site, so that construction is easy and convenient, procedures are simplified, and the construction period is effectively shortened.

Device for coupling two vertical components
The present subject matter relates to a device for coupling two vertical components, comprising a girder made of wood, in particular glued laminated timber, and a connector for each end face of the girder for connecting the end faces to one of the vertical components each. Each connector has two fittings, one of which is mounted via one side on the respective end face of the girder and the other of which can be mounted via one side on the associated vertical component and which fittings can be brought via their other sides into abutment against one another. Further, each connector has two tensioning jaws, which grasp the fittings at diametrical ends and can be tensioned against one another by means of at least one tensioning element running approximately parallel to said other sides. The girder has a bottom chord made of steel, which bottom chord is anchored at each end face of the girder to the fitting mounted thereon. At least one tensioning member is provided for tensioning the bottom chord.
Connection device for fastening two elements, in particular for building construction
A connection device in particular for building construction, has an upright, a beam and a pair of first plates, which are flat and vertical, are fixed with respect to the upright, project horizontally from the upright and are parallel to each other; the device also has a pair of second plates, which are fastened to one end of the beam, are placed on the outer side faces of such end are flat and vertical, coplanar respectively to the first plates and rest on the first plates solely at an inclined plane, which causes a forcing of the end of the beam horizontally against the upright in response to a forcing of the second plates downwards along such inclined plane.
CONNECTOR FOR TWO COMPONENTS
A connector for two components comprises two fittings each with a mounting side, an abutment side opposite the mounting side, and an end face connecting the mounting and abutment sides. At the end faces the fittings may be hooked into one another. The fittings are made of wood or of wood-plastic composite and have one or more generally cylindrical blind holes on their abutment side. The connector comprises, for each blind hole, a molding for removable insertion into the blind hole. The molding has a base surface, a top surface parallel thereto, a substantially generally cylindrical lateral surface connecting these two, and a slanted bore for a mounting screw. The bore penetrates the molding at an acute angle to the base and top surfaces.
