ASSEMBLY FOR FORMING A THERMALLY INSULATED WALL, CONNECTING DEVICE, FASTENING DEVICE, AND PANEL
An arrangement for forming a thermally insulated wall is provided that includes two panels connected to one another by multiple connecting means, wherein each connecting means has two receiving openings. Each panel is provided with an insertion opening, and a fixing means is inserted into the receiving opening of the connecting means through the insertion opening. Each of the connecting means includes a holding means of a first kind configured to hold a horizontal reinforcing means that connects the connecting means to one another and a holding means of a second kind configured to hold a vertical reinforcing means that connects the connecting means to one another. Other aspects are described and claimed.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CONNECTING PRECAST CONCRETE ELEMENTS
An apparatus for connecting precast elements, wherein the apparatus includes a first part adapted for being cast into a first one of the precast elements, and the apparatus further includes a second part adapted for being cast into a second one of the precast elements, wherein the first part and the second part are arranged to receive a fastener for fastening the second precast element relative to the first precast element with the fastener crossing a joint between the precast elements at an angle to the joint.
COMPOSITE BEAM HAVING TRUSS REINFORCEMENT EMBEDDED IN CONCRETE
The present invention relates to a composite beam in which a fabricated truss is embedded in the concrete, and more particularly, it relates to a composite beam in which the fabricated truss acts as a truss beam which endures the concrete weight and the construction load in the liquid phase before the curing of the concrete and acts as a main structural member together with the concrete after the curing of the concrete.
Self-supported PC column joint part
A self-supported PC column joint part. A plurality of accommodation pieces is buried in the upper surface of a lower member to which a PC column is to be joined, has accommodation spaces having open upper parts, and has female threads. A support bar is provided in a pocket formed in the lower end of the PC column, and includes a body coupled to the upper surface of the pocket to protrude and a head at the lower end of the body so as to be accommodated inside the accommodation space. A fixing piece has a through-hole formed in the center thereof such that the body of the support bar passes therethrough, and has threads formed on the outer peripheral surface thereof so as to be screw-coupled to the accommodation piece, thereby fixing the head of the support bar.
Acoustical isolation hanger
An isolating hanger and method of making is disclosed for mounting a ceiling from an upper support. The isolating hanger comprises a one piece bendable wire having a spring shape defined between a first and a second wire end. The spring shaped is tempered for transforming said spring shape into a resilient spring. The remaining bendable wire ends affix the upper support to the ceiling for isolating vibration between the ceiling and the upper support.
CONNECTION SYSTEM
A connection system for providing a construction joint between a first concrete component and a second concrete component, the connection system including a rebate former for forming a rebate in a first concrete component, wherein the rebate former is formed of sheet metal, the rebate former including an elongated backing, the elongated backing having folded edges to a predefined depth.
Facade support system
A veneer tie for use in a wall to join an inner wall member and an outer wall member of the wall. The outer wall member is formed from successive courses of masonry units with a mortar-filled bed joint between each two adjacent courses. The veneer tie has an installation axis that extends generally perpendicular to the outer wall member when the veneer tie is being used to join the inner wall member to the outer wall member. The veneer tie includes an attachment portion to be attached to a wall anchor used to secure the veneer tie to the inner wall member. An insertion portion of the veneer tie is coupled to the attachment portion that is to be disposed in the bed joint. The insertion portion includes a first recess and a second recess. The first recess is disposed at a first location on the insertion portion and the second recess disposed at a second location on the insertion portion. The first and second locations are spaced apart from one another in a direction parallel to the installation axis of the veneer tie. The first and second recesses receive a reinforcement member of a wall reinforcement.
ASSEMBLY CHANNEL EMBEDDED IN CONCRETE STRUCTURE
An assembly channel embedded in a concrete structure includes: bolts coupled to a bracket adapted to support an object to be supported; a support member open on top thereof and having both side ends bent inwardly therefrom in such a manner as to prevent heads of the bolts inserted thereinto from being escaped therefrom; a fixed member fixedly coupled to the underside of the support member in such a manner as to be embedded in the concrete structure; at least one or more length reinforcing materials mounted on the inner surface of the fixed member in a longitudinal direction of the fixed member so as to reinforce the strength of the fixed member; and a horizontal plate disposed between the support member and the fixed member in such a manner as to be coupled to the support member.
A BUILDING SYSTEM
The present invention relates to a building system for erecting a building structure. The building system comprises a plurality of precast transportable concrete wall panels; each wall panel comprising a reinforcement structure and a plurality of cast-in connecting inserts, each connecting insert being located at a predetermined position; and a precast transportable concrete floor panel, the floor panel also comprising a reinforcement structure and a plurality of cast-in connecting inserts, each being located at a pre-determined position, the floor panel further comprising a recess along at least a portion of a perimeter of the floor panel. The building system is configured such that when each precast wall panel is positioned in a substantially upright position in the recess of the floor panel, connecting inserts of two adjacent panels align so that the panels can be connected using a plurality of mechanical fasteners.
SPECIALIZED CONNECTION DEVICES AND METHOD OF USE
An anchor bolt fastener assembly with specialized connection capabilities and features for attaching building components to concrete slabs, walls, ceilings, and/or structural surfaces. Compression force can be established and maintained over time using a compression washer in combination with a specialized fastener stud that is designed to exploit the compression washer benefits. Methods of using exemplary embodiments include installing the anchor bolt fastener assembly relatively flush with the surface of the concrete slurry by direct insertion in the slurry using a specialized threaded anchor bolt float. Once the slurry hardens, the anchor bolt and anchor bolt float embedded in the concrete slurry cooperate with the specialized fastener stud to secure the building component to the concrete.
