APPARATUS AND SYSTEM FOR DYNAMIC ACOUSTIC LOCKING CEILING SYSTEM AND METHODS THEREOF
A dynamic acoustic locking ceiling baffle and a dynamic acoustic locking ceiling system, that includes a single piece of material folded into acoustic locking ceiling baffles, using locking pieces and locking mechanisms, to quickly and easily install the acoustic locking ceiling baffle onto construction ceiling hangers to provide an aesthetically pleasing image, along with a reduction in unwanted noise or room acoustics.
Modular dynamic acoustic ceiling panel
A modular dynamic acoustic system for use in connection with an indoor environment includes a movable panel array, a support structure, and a plurality of suspension members. The movable panel array includes a plurality of panel members, each of which including a body defining at least one edge, at least one hinge positioned along the at least one edge, and at least one mounting structure. The panel members are operably coupled with at least one adjacent panel member via the at least one hinge. Each of the plurality of suspension members is operably coupled with the support structure and the at least one mounting structure of one of the plurality of panel members to secure the movable panel array to the support structure. Each of the suspension members is movable to modify a configuration of the movable panel array.
Ceiling tile with baffle and stabilizing member
A baffle tile has a tile and a baffle. The tile is sized and shaped to be placed in a drop ceiling grid, and has a slot through its thickness. The body of the baffle is inserted into the slot in the tile so that the baffle hangs down from the tile. A pair of folding flaps are defined in an upper extent of the baffle by respective fold lines. The folding flaps are folded outwardly and down, such that they abut the upper surface of the tile. Folded down, the folding flaps define a locking slot. A locking member with features complementary to the locking slot is inserted into the locking slot to lock the folding flaps into position. The baffle itself may have additional fold lines so that it can be folded into its usable configuration from a flat sheet of material, without adhesives or fasteners.
ACOUSTIC INSULATED CEILING SYSTEM
An acoustic insulated ceiling system is disclosed. The system comprises a first profile and a second profile. The system comprises a carrier layer connected to the first profile and the second profile. As such the carrier layer is suspended between the first profile and the second profile. The system comprises a bottom layer in a high density material. The bottom layer supports on the carrier layer. The bottom layer extends from the first profile to the second profile. The system comprises an intermediate layer in a low density insulation material. The intermediate layer supports on the bottom layer. The system comprises a top layer in a high density material. The top layer supports on the intermediate layer. The top layer extends from the first profile to the second profile.
Acoustic panels for a ceiling suspension system
A ceiling suspension system that includes a plurality of acoustic panels that are configured to be installed or attached into openings of a grid formed by main runners and cross runners of the ceiling suspension system. The acoustic panels include a plurality of main blades that extend in the same direction as the main runners and cross blades that extend in the same direction as the cross runners. Two or more of the main blades comprise a kerf in a first lateral edge of each main blade. The kerf comprises a first slot and a second slot that form a stepped configuration.
CEILING BAFFLE APPARATUS AND CEILING BAFFLE SYSTEM FOR A DYNAMIC ACOUSTIC CEILING AND METHODS THEREOF
A dynamic acoustic ceiling baffle and a dynamic acoustic ceiling baffle system, that includes multiple shaped baffles that can be quickly and easily installed onto construction ceiling hangers without the need for additional tools, to provide an aesthetically pleasing image, such as an undulating image, along with a reduction in unwanted noise or room acoustics.
FOLDED ARCHITECTURAL PANEL
A folded architectural panel folded from a flat sheet, the panel having opposite longitudinal ends extending in a width direction, opposite lateral sides extending in a length direction and a depth perpendicular to the width and length directions. The panel includes a first downward fold adjacent one longitudinal end, extending in the width direction, and having opposite fold ends at the respective lateral sides of the panel; a second downward fold adjacent the other longitudinal end, extending in the width direction, and having opposite fold ends at the respective lateral sides of the panel; and a central upward fold at a central portion of the panel between the first and second downward folds; the first downward fold, the second downward fold and the central upward fold enable contraction of the opposite end folds towards each other to cause folding of the first and second end folds and an increase in the depth of the panel at the central portion. The panel further includes two pairs of respective side upward folds extending from the four opposite fold ends of the first and second end folds to the central upward fold such that, with contraction of the opposite end folds towards each other, a respective section of each respective lateral side between two respective fold ends contracts inwardly towards the opposite lateral side and a respective sidewall is formed on each respective lateral side of the panel extending from the respective pair of side upward folds in the depth direction.
Ceiling Tile with Integrated Baffle
Ceiling tiles for drop ceilings are disclosed. The ceiling tiles have a main portion that is sized and adapted to fit within a grid of the drop ceiling, and a baffle that hangs down from the main portion. A sheet of tile material may have a plurality of fold lines defined in it that allow the sheet to fold in such a way as to define the main portion and the baffle. In the flat configuration, the sheet of tile material may have the dimensions of a standard drop ceiling tile; in the folded configuration, the ceiling tiles may also have standard ceiling-tile dimensions. A single ceiling tile may have two or more baffles, and those baffles may be staggered in position with respect to one another.
Expandable Panel
A lightweight, compressible panel structure can include a collapsible portion that includes outer facing sections and inner core sections connected by hinge points and/or hinge assemblies. One or more longitudinal support structures can be included to hold the expandable panel structure in its expanded configuration. Methods and apparatus are described.
