Ceiling mounted assembly for electrical components
This disclosure relates to an assembly that is configured to be installed or integrated into a suspended grid ceiling.
Partially lighted T-bar
The partially lit T-bar includes a spine with a rest shelf at a lower portion thereof. The rest shelf supports adjacent ceiling tiles. The under surface of the rest shelf includes a lighting module on a portion and a plain unlit undersurface on other portions. Additional T-bars which are shorter, and typically fully lit or fully unlit and half the length of the partially lit T-bar are also provided which can attach at ends or near a midpoint of the partially lit T-bar and typically perpendicularly thereto. A great variety of lighting patterns in a dropped ceiling is thus facilitated. Each of the T-bars preferably also includes a heat sink on an upper portion of the spine and also preferably a lower heat sink on an upper portion of the rest shelf. Heat associated with the light element of the T-bar can thus be drawn away from a space below the ceiling.
A SECONDARY PROFILE CONNECTOR FOR A SUSPENDED CEILING SYSTEM
A secondary profile connector for a suspended ceiling system includes a secondary profile associated with the secondary profile connector and a primary profile having a web provided with an opening for reception of the secondary profile connector. The secondary profile connector includes a tongue arrangement insertable into the opening of the web of the primary profile for releasable connection of the secondary profile connector to the primary profile.
Ceiling tile system
Ceiling tile system for acoustic modification.
Cross runner connector and cross runner connector arrangement for a suspended ceiling system
A cross runner connector for a suspended ceiling system (1) comprising a main runner (10) being provided with an opening (11) for reception of the cross runner connector and having a circumference defining an opening notch (12); and a cross runner (30), the cross runner connector comprising a guiding lip (41) and a locking lip (42) separated by a slit (43) and extending in the longitudinal direction (P2) of the cross runner connector, the guiding lip (41) having a guide edge portion (44) provided with a guide lip notch (45) and a distal guide tip (46) being offset in a first lateral direction (P3) such that the cross runner connector is laterally displaceable in the first lateral direction (P3) in response to insertion of the cross runner connector into the opening (11) of the main runner (10) with the guide edge portion (44) positioned in the opening notch (12) of the opening (11), and the locking lip (42) having a locking protrusion (48) protruding in the first lateral direction (P3). The invention further relates to a cross runner connector arrangement comprising the cross runner connector and a main runner.
CEILING SYSTEM AND METHOD OF INSTALLATION
A ceiling system is provided for use in a building space. The ceiling system has an open cell grid structure and is attached to a support structure of the building via hanging hardware. The open cell grid structure is constructed of a plurality of first panels attached to the hanging hardware, a plurality of second panels attached to the plurality of first panels, and a plurality of third panels attached to the plurality of second panels. The first, second, and third panels are attached via a plurality of slots which allow secure engagement and utilize gravity to retain them in the assembled condition. Beneficially, the plurality of second panels and the plurality of third panels are free of hanging hardware.
Ceiling framework
A ceiling framework includes main beams and cross beams, which are connected to one another and transversally to one another by connectors borne by one type of beams among the main beams and the cross beams, and engaged in apertures made in the other type of beams among the main beams and the cross beams, so as to receive tiles. For each beam having the apertures, the apertures are marked with symbols on each face of the beam, the symbols marked on each face being repeated sequentially over the length of the beam, the period of the sequences of symbols on each face being equal to a given tile size. The marking is the same on either face of the beam, starting with the same symbol on each left-hand or right-hand end for each observed face.
CEILING MOUNTED ASSEMBLY FOR ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS
This disclosure relates to an assembly that is configured to be installed or integrated into a suspended grid ceiling.
Suspended ceiling pass through grid connector
A pass through grid connector clip for a suspended ceiling. The grid connector clip is made of two identical halves connected back-to-back by a fastener passing through a first aperture of both identical halves or other joining method. The identical halves each have a web with a first side and an opposite second side defining a height; a third side and an opposite fourth side defining a length; a louver element closer to a fourth side than the third side; a half sleeve located between the clip and the louver element and extending from the first side to the second side the in a substantially semi-circular shape; the first aperture located between the half sleeve and the clip or the half sleeve and the louver element. The halves include a clip connected to the third side and two flanges projecting in substantially the same direction from opposite sides of the web. As a result, when the halves are joined back-to-back they form a pass through sleeve.
Apparatus and system for dynamic acoustic ceiling system and methods thereof
An acoustic ceiling tile and a dynamic acoustic ceiling system that includes multiple ceiling tiles that can be quickly and easily installed onto ceiling structures utilizing attached or embedded magnetic assemblies to provide an aesthetically pleasing image, such as an fluctuating image, along with a reduction in unwanted noise or room acoustics, wherein the attached or embedded magnetic assemblies are configured to be removed from the ceiling tile, and then configured to be easily placed or located onto a different location on the ceiling tile as needed, to allow for optimal installation of the ceiling tile onto the ceiling structure.
