SYSTEM FOR INSULATED CONCRETE COMPOSITE WALL PANELS
20170350122 · 2017-12-07 ·

A shear connector for use with insulated concrete panels. The shear connector comprises an elongated core member that includes a first end and a second end, and a flanged end-piece removably secured to one of the first end or the second end of the core member. At least a portion of the flanged end-piece includes a maximum diameter that is larger than a maximum diameter of the core member. The shear connector is configured to transfer shear forces.

Precast wall having increased pouring resistance

The present disclosure relates generally to a precast wall having increased pouring resistance. The precast wall has a configuration by which resistance to the pouring pressure of concrete poured between outer and inner panels is increased, the configuration including rail members buried in outer and inner panels, link members disposed between connection members connecting the rail members in the outer and inner panels to act integrally, and coupling members.

Void former
11352789 · 2022-06-07 · ·

The present invention relates to methods of forming voids in concrete elements, and to a void former apparatus and system useful for this application. The void former unit comprises a first void former element comprising a first surface and a first opening in the first surface and a second void former element comprising a second surface and a second opening in the second surface, wherein the first void former element and the second void former element detachably connect to form a passage between the first opening and the second opening, and a void space between the first surface and the second surface surrounding the passage. Multiple void former units can detachably connect to form a void former system comprising a single continuous void space. While exemplified by use in concrete elements, other uses of the void former unit and void former system are envisaged.

Structural panels for buildings integrating 3D printed shells and method of fabrication

A structural panel is manufactured from at least two generally parallel and spaced-apart thin-shell cementitious skins that are joined by a truss matrix. The elements creating the truss matrix, being the truss, the face mesh, and the insulating core, are selected to meet the structural loads to be placed thereon. The thickness of each cementitious skin is selected to meet the structural loads to be placed thereon.

Ventilated reinforced-concrete wall module for constructing buildings in general and respective industrialized construction system

A ventilated wall module (10) of the type used in civil construction for a range of buildings using pre-fabricated components, such as one-story homes, large houses, houses, schools, hospitals, industrial sheds, inter alia; the wall module (10) includes a pair of panels (20A) and (30A) that are produced independently of one another by automated, robotic equipment (E1), based on large moving metal surfaces (M1) that slide on rails (T1); said mechanized method (M1) developed for the production of the panels (20A) and (30A) includes an industrialized construction system (SC) for producing each wall module (10) comprising the combination of the coordination and compatibilization of the designs to be implemented with the pre-installation of the complementary components such as electrical boxes (c1) or other necessary elements.
