Railing system and picket for a railing system
A picket for a railing system comprises an elongated body with one or more walls and first and second ends. The first and second ends engage the top and bottom rails, respectively, of the railing system. The picket also comprises one or more cutouts formed along one or more of the walls. Each of the cutouts engages one of the plurality of spacers. The cutouts are proximal to the first and second ends of the pickets.
RAILING ASSEMBLIES AND METHODS OF INSTALLATION
A railing system includes at least one post and at least one rod defining a first distal end and a second distal end. The railing system further includes at least one connector assembly. The at least one connector assembly operably couples one of the first distal end or the second distal end of the at least one rod to the at least one post.
VERTICAL STABILIZER APPARATUS FOR RAILING SYSTEMS
Embodiments of railing systems are disclosed. One embodiment comprises a horizontal wood deck, first and second vertical wood posts mounted to the wood deck, a horizontal wood hand railing mounted to the posts and over the deck, and a vertical metal stabilizer apparatus. The vertical metal stabilizer apparatus has (a) a plurality of horizontal metal bars, each of the bars having an elongated body with first and second ends mounted to the first and second vertical wood posts, respectively; and (b) a vertical metal stabilizer having an elongated body with first and second ends, the body having a plurality of apertures, each of the apertures receiving a respective one of the bars, the first and second ends having first and second attachment means respectively that secure the stabilizer to the deck and hand railing, respectively.
BALUSTER INSTALLATION DEVICE AND METHODS OF USE
A baluster installation device and related methods of use may be used to aid in holding, leveling, and properly installing balusters, spindles, rails, and similar components. The device may be configured to be removable attachable to a component, such as a baluster. The device may further be configured to aid in proper alignment and spacing of balusters and may include one or more features to aid in location and marking of locations or distances. The device may also include one or more features configured to aid in properly aligning retention components, such as screws. The device may also include one or more additional components or features, which may optionally be removable or attachable, such as a level or thumb screws.
In-rail connector
A railing assembly may include a first railing portion including a first aperture, a second railing portion including a second aperture, a first in-rail connector disposed in the first railing portion, and a second in-rail connector disposed in the second railing portion. A baluster may extend through the first aperture and may be connected to the first in-rail connector The baluster may extend through the second aperture and may be connected to the second in-rail connector.
