FALL PROTECTION SYSTEM
A fall protection system includes a base assembly, a mast assembly, and a locking assembly adapted to lock the mast assembly with the base assembly. The locking assembly includes a first plate and a second plate. The locking assembly also includes a fixed member fixedly coupled to the second plate. The locking assembly further includes a locking pin including an elongate portion at least partially received within the fixed member and a first tab, the locking pin being movable relative to the fixed member between an engaged position and a disengaged position. In the engaged position, the first tab is at least partially received within a first groove such that the locking pin is engaged with the first plate. Further, in the disengaged position, the first tab is at least partially received within a second groove such that the locking pin is spaced apart from the first plate.
FALL PROTECTION SYSTEM
A fall protection system includes a base plate defining a first side and a second side defined opposite to the first side. The fall protection system also includes a mast assembly connected to the base plate proximate to the first side of the base plate. The fall protection system further includes a jib inclined with respect to the mast assembly and pivotably connected to the mast assembly. The fall protection system includes a counterweight connectable to the base plate proximate to the second side of the base plate.
Portable safety rail system
A portable safety rail system includes one or more railings inserted into one or more stackable rail bases. Each rail base can include a plurality of apertures for receiving end rail posts of railings through a raised hub defining an open region between the bottom of the hub and the surface on which the rail base rests. Each end rail post can have a stop flange that engages an upper surface of the hub when inserted therein and an aperture through the end portion that extends into the open region beneath the hub for receiving a pin to lock the post while allowing rotation of the post. The system can also include toe boards that are attached to railings with a mount having an aperture through which railings are extended, allowing the toe boards to also be rotated to be aligned with railings.
FALL RESTRAINT SYSTEM
The present system for fall restraint includes a mounting frame connected to a trigger mechanism and firing blocks, with a trigger cable extending through apertures in the mounting frame and trigger mechanism. Sudden movement by a user, such as a fall, actuates the trigger mechanism to trigger the firing blocks. The firing blocks are loaded with anchors and firing cartridges. Triggering the firing blocks causes the cartridges to fire, propelling the anchors into an anchoring surface, such as a roof. Because the user is connected to the trigger cable, once the anchors deploy the user is anchored to the roof and their fall arrested.
PERSONAL SAFETY APPARATUS AND SYSTEM
A personal safety apparatus and systems include a mast connected to a base. The mast includes a plurality of mast sections and is vertically extendable from the base between a collapsed position and an extended position. A jib is rotatably connected to the mast. The jib is moveable between a first position wherein the jib is generally parallel to the mast and a second position wherein the jib extends outward from the mast. The jib includes a first jib arm and a second jib arm. The second jib arm is moveable relative to the first jib arm. An anchor point is secured to the jib. The anchor point is configured to connect to a cable configured to secure to a person.
Ballasted fall prevention apparatus
A rooftop safety system for protecting persons from falling off a rooftop environment by employing fall protection which may include a ballasted fall prevention apparatus, and a fall protection anchor coupled to the ballasted fall prevention apparatus. A fall protection anchor may include an attachment device adapted to couple the fall protection anchor to a structure, an anchorage connector adapted to connect personal fall protection equipment to the fall protection anchor to deploy fall restraint. In one embodiment, an integral strain indicator made of a degradable material is placed within the fall protection anchor, and after a certain amount of force indicative of a fall impact is reached, deforms giving a visual indication to safety inspectors that a fall event has occurred. In an alternative embodiment the strain indicator can be formed into a housing which covers an attachment device as well as the post the attachment device is attached to.
A SAFETY GATE
A foldable safety gate apparatus for use in relation to a hoist or lift, comprising: a main safety gate body, said main safety gate body comprising: a gate frame forming an opening; and a gate, wherein the gate frame holds said gate within the opening for preventing entry into a hoist car; a cantilever platform, said cantilever platform comprising: a supporting arm for securing to a slab; and two or more load points or securing the cantilever platform to the slab; wherein, when in a deployed state, the main safety gate body is substantially perpendicular to the cantilever platform, and, when in a collapsed state, the main safety gate body rests substantially parallel to the cantilever platform.
