FOUNDATION SUPPORT SYSTEM SHAFT COUPLER FABRICATION AND ASSEMBLY
A modular foundation support system includes modular foundation support components including shafts provided with integrally formed coupler features on their respective distal ends. The coupler features are configured with a non-uniform wall thickness defining a plurality of sections of respectively different diameter to matingly couple the shafts to one another in a torque transmitting relationship. The coupler features may be integrally formed and fabricated on the distal end of each respective shaft.
Modular foundation support systems and methods including shafts with interlocking torque transmitting couplings
A modular foundation support system includes modular foundation support components including self-aligning and torque transmitting coupler features wherein a plurality of axially elongated ribs are aligned with a plurality of axially elongated ribs to rotationally interlocke the modular foundation support components to one another.
SYSTEM FOR RAISING AND LOWERING A BUILDING
A system for raising and lowering a building relative to its foundation. A plurality of permanently-installed lifting apparatuses engage the building or a building support structure and exert an upward force causing the building to be moved vertically relative to the foundation.
MODULAR FOUNDATION SUPPORT SYSTEMS AND METHODS INCLUDING SHAFTS WITH INTERLOCKING TORQUE TRANSMITTING COUPLINGS
A modular foundation support system includes modular foundation support components including self-aligning and torque transmitting coupler features wherein a plurality of\elongated ribs are aligned with a plurality of elongated grooves to rotationally interlock the modular foundation support components to one another.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SUPPORTING, RAISING AND LOWERING A MODULAR STRUCTURE
Embodiments disclosed herein include a building support system that includes a plurality of caissons that extend below building grade to one or more of an engineered depth and a competent subsurface. Each caisson is topped with a caisson cap that includes various elements and mechanisms for engaging with a structural steel member of a building module. A screw jack that operates within each caisson supports one or more building modules. Multiple screw jacks in multiple caissons raise and lower the entire building structure under electrical control, including remote control.
Method for raising a framed structure
A method of raising a framed structure. The method comprises the steps of: supporting a roof structure of the framed structure, cutting a stud of the framed structure at a desired level, leaving a bottom portion of the stud in place, removing a top portion of the stud, raising the roof structure of the framed structure, installing a flooring structure on the bottom portion of the stud, building a wall structure using a second stud supported by and secured to the flooring structure, lowering the roof structure onto the wall structure, and securing the roof structure to the wall structure. The method also allows for the leveling of the framed structure without modifications to the foundation. The method further allows for newly raised structures to have higher ceilings and modified floor plans without changes to the foundation.
Hydraulic lift caisson for buildings and other heavy and/or large objects
A hydraulic lift caisson for buildings including an outer rigid pipe, an inner rigid lifting post and a plurality of threaded lifting rods surrounding the inner rigid lifting post. Also included is a base lifting plate disposed within a bottom end of the outer rigid pipe and connected to a bottom end of the inner rigid lifting post and threaded rods, an anchor plate fixed to a first end of the inner rigid pipe and including a plurality of holes extending therethrough to receive the threaded lifting rods therethrough and a jacking plate disposed above the anchor plate and also including a plurality of holes extending therethrough to receive the threaded lifting rods therethrough, and at least one hydraulic jack disposed between the anchor plate and a jacking plate to lift the jacking plate, lifting post and building.
Apparatus and method for driving a pile into the ground before lifting and stabilizing the foundation of a building
Described are an apparatus and method for driving piles prior to lifting and stabilizing foundations that have subsided in unstable ground. A press head, comprising two non-slip arms actuated by a safety lever, is connected to an angle cleat-type foundation piece secured to the foundation by a pair of hydraulic rams in order to drive the piles into the ground as far as the bedrock when the rams contract. The apparatus includes a safety system actuated by the lever for controlling the arms. In order to level the building, other hydraulic rams are installed on each driven pile, all connected in series in order that they may be actuated simultaneously in order to lift the building. When the foundations have been adequately raised and levelled, each pile and the corresponding angle cleat-type foundation piece, both made of steel, are welded in order to stabilize the foundations.
Core-Pulling Transfer Device and Construction Method for Reverse Demolition of Reinforced Concrete Structures
The disclosure provides a core-pulling transfer device for reverse demolition of reinforced concrete structures and a construction method. The device comprises temporary supports, long-stroke hydraulic jacks and steel crossbeams, wherein the temporary supports are supported on bottom surfaces of bottom crossbeams of the reinforced concrete structure, a beam end through hole is formed in each end, connected with a force-transmitting structure column, of each bottom crossbeam, two long-stroke hydraulic jacks are symmetrically arranged on both sides of each force-transmitting structure column, core-pulling holes are formed in upper end sides of demolition floor structure columns, one steel crossbeam is in clearance fit with each core-pulling hole, both ends of each steel crossbeam extend out of the corresponding core-pulling hole, lower surfaces of the long-stroke hydraulic jacks are fixedly connected to a foundation, and upper surfaces of oil cylinders of the long-stroke hydraulic jacks are propped against lower surfaces of the corresponding steel crossbeams after moving up and penetrating through the corresponding beam end through holes. The disclosure can quickly carry out vertical load transfer of the reinforced concrete structure, smoothly transfer vertical force, and achieve a safe reverse demolition construction process.
Lift and fill concrete raising system
A system to lift concrete slabs, objects or other rigid materials comprising a sway and lifting bar, lifting jacks on opposing ends of the sway and lifting bar, slip lifting tube brackets on opposing ends of the sway and lifting bar, and a lifting bracket attached to each slip lifting tube bracket by a chain at opposing ends of the sway and lifting bar.
