Temporary Scaffolding Rest
The invention relates to a temporary scaffolding rest which temporarily supports a standby scaffolding component upon a scaffolding upright in a first temporary disconnected position which is laterally offset from the scaffolding upright for subsequent installation of said standby scaffolding component to a portion of said upright in a second installed position which is laterally inset from the first temporary disconnected position. The temporary scaffolding rest includes a temporary connector for temporarily connecting the temporary scaffolding rest to said portion of said scaffolding upright, and an elongated rest which extends laterally from the temporary connector in order to temporarily support a portion of said standby scaffolding adjacent said portion of said scaffolding upright in said first temporary disconnected laterally offset position ready for subsequent installation to said portion of said scaffolding upright in said second installed position. A method of erecting a row of scaffolding which is higher than the row of scaffolding upon which an installer is positioned is also provided.
PRECEDING GUARD RAIL HOLDER FOR A SCAFFOLDING SYSTEM
Preceding guardrail holder for a scaffolding system, configured for cooperation with guardrails provided with a fastening hook at a longitudinal end. The preceding guardrail holder includes a first and a second cross connection element extending perpendicular to a mounting plate and a retaining plate, which cross connection elements are mutually spaced apart and together bound a fastening hook receiving space for receiving in the fastening hook receiving space the fastening hook of a first guardrail. The distance between the first and the second cross connection element is such that, if the fastening hook is received in the fastening hook receiving space and the first guardrail is not supported otherwise, a recess on a radial inner side of the fastening hook rests on the first cross connection element, and a radial outer side of the fastening hook abuts against the second cross connection element, the first guardrail thereby being wholly supported by the single preceding guardrail holder.
COUPLING DEVICE
A coupling device suitable for interconnecting two beam ends is provided, wherein the beam with the beam end has an elongate axis, where on a first beam end is arranged first interconnection units having two first parallel flange elements arranged with a mutual first distance x, wherein in each flange is designed a cut-out with a cross-section in the plane of the flange; a second beam end is arranged a second interconnection unit having a second flange, the width of the second flange across the plane of the second flange is smaller than or equal to x, and where largely perpendicular to the plane of the second flange, a connecting element protrudes on each side of the second flange, the cross-section of the connecting element in the plane of the second flange allows insertion of the connecting element into the cut-outs of the first flanges on the first beam end.
Heavy Duty Transom for Structural Support Systems
This publication relates to a tubular transom in particular for temporary structures, such as scaffolding or false work and similar structure, having ends configured to be connected to verticals at node sections arranged at intervals on the verticals. Each end of the transom comprises a fastening device with an integrated profile part, releasably attached to the tubular transom in an opening at the ends of the tubular transom. The transom comprises a first and at least second elongate, parallel and hollow tube elements, interconnected at least at each end by intermediate integrated web plates, rigidly fixed to said at least two tube elements. A contact surface of the opening in the first tube, is transversally arranged relative to one or more web plates. A contact surface of the opening in the second tube is transversally arranged relative to one or more web plates. The opening at the ends of the transom having at least partly a complimentary shape.
SHORING APPARATUS, SYSTEM, AND RELATED METHOD FOR CONCRETE EDGE REPAIRS
The present invention discloses a shoring apparatus, a system incorporating the apparatus, and a related method utilizing the apparatus in the system for an improvement in conducting concrete edge repairs in multi-story buildings. The shoring apparatus includes a structural member and attachment features that are configured to make the shoring apparatus attachable to the underside of a concrete structure that is to undergo edge repairs. The shoring apparatus is advantageous over shore poles in that they securely support the concrete form without relying on a lower structure to counter the load of the structural repair.
Intermediate scaffold joint
An improved intermediate scaffold joint comprising a frame, a first mounting member, a second mounting member, and a vertical stub. The frame has an interior side, an exterior side, and a top side. A lock member is slidable in the interior of the frame. The frame has a rear plate portion that has two openings to accommodate the engagement portions of a horizontal scaffold join, but lacks ½ annular cups.
A Scaffold Connection Element, Parts Thereof, and Associated Methods
A scaffold connection element for coupling two scaffold members, the scaffold connection element including: a first receiver configured to receive at least part of a first scaffold member; a second receiver configured to receive at least part of a second scaffold member with the first and second scaffold members substantially parallel with each other and/or co-axial with each other; and a depth adjustment arrangement configured to adjust a depth of the first receiver, such that the depth adjustment arrangement is useable to alter a distance between the first and second scaffold members received by the scaffold connection element.
Flexible fastening unit for a beam
A fastening unit for attaching a first beam to a second beam is provided, wherein the second beam is arranged substantially perpendicularly to the first beam, the fastening unit having a first axis and a second axis, wherein the second axis is substantially perpendicular to the first axis. The fastening unit comprises a connecting member extending in a direction parallel to the first axis of the fastening unit and having a first edge portion, a second edge portion and a central portion, the connecting member further comprising a coupling element.
Lockable scaffold toeboard system
A scaffold toeboard system for locking a toeboard between two vertical scaffold members where each vertical scaffold member includes a tubular member having a diameter and an outer shape. The toeboard system includes a toeboard having an elongated member with a fixed terminating end and an adjustable terminating end. The toeboard further includes a front portion, a top portion, a bottom portion and a rear portion. The toeboard system further includes a locking mechanism slidably mounted to the adjustable terminating end, where the locking mechanism includes a lock member body with a front sidewall two fingers positioned on said locking mechanism and extending outwardly from the front sidewall of the locking member. The two fingers separated by a horizontal distance of about the diameter of a scaffold vertical member. The locking mechanism further includes a lock, where the lock is actuatable to fix the position of the lock member body with respect to the toeboard in a deployed position. The fixed terminating end is shaped to engage a scaffold vertical member.
Scaffold System
A scaffold system comprising a set of components adapted for assembly of a scaffold section. The components are at least two frame components, each having at least two vertical members separated by at least two interconnecting members, the at least two vertical members comprising a socket; two or more brace components adapted to span between and connect to the two side frame components; at least four corner pole components, each adapted to connect with the socket of a vertical member; and a plurality of support rail components adapted to span between two pole components.
