Transverse elevator system
A transverse elevator system having generally horizontal and generally vertical components in a building with horizontal pathways guiding first passenger vehicles on each floor that connect to a plurality of vertical pathways guiding second passenger vehicles intersecting the horizontal pathways at stops at the points of intersection, wherein passenger transfer from horizontal to vertical movement is achieved by locking the first vehicles to the second vehicles with passenger chutes defining panels that extend from the vertical pathways and lock the first vehicles to the vertical pathways. In a second embodiment, passengers are carried in a separate enclosed CAPULSEs that shift from the first vehicles to the second vehicles obviating the need for complex horizontal to vertical drive transfer mechanisms.

A parking facility for motor vehicles includes a carrying device with parking spaces, reception devices that are movable into a parking position in the parking space and out of it, parking space-side contact elements that are suppliable with electrical energy, arranged on at least some reception devices, and corresponding device-side contact elements and a connection element electrically coupled thereto for connecting to a vehicle positioned on the reception device, where the parking space-side contact elements are arranged movably on the carrying device and/or the device-side contact elements are arranged movably on the reception device, and the contact elements are movable from a base position in the absence of the reception device to a contact position when the reception device assumes the parking position, in which contact position the corresponding contact elements are coupled to one another, and can be brought out of the contact position.

Automated Parking Garage
An automated parking garage with one or more novel features described herein. These novel features include a modular design a control system that is operable to move multiple items, such as vehicles, independently so that they can move concurrently or simultaneously, at least one storage space that comprises an electric vehicle charging station, the ability to communicate with autonomous (e.g., self-driving) vehicles to facilitate parking of autonomous vehicles, a pallet cleaning system, and/or can be configured to store containers or other items.
Power receiving and feeding apparatus
A power receiving and feeding apparatus is provided which includes a connector coupled to a power receiving and feeding outlet of an electric motor vehicle, a connector moving unit that moves the connector in a lateral direction and a vertical direction, and a position determination unit that determines a position of the power receiving and feeding outlet of the electric motor vehicle based on a position information of the electric motor vehicle and a vehicle information of the electric motor vehicle. The connector moving unit is caused to move the connector at a position higher than a predetermined height in the lateral direction and then in the vertical direction to align the connector to the position of the power receiving and feeding outlet so as to couple the connector to the power receiving and feeding outlet.
AUTOMATED VEHICULAR PARKING APPARATUS
A parking apparatus has a parking platform mounted to stanchions for movement between lower and upper positions. Left and right lever assemblies have inner surfaces facing toward one another and outer surfaces facing away from one another. Each lever assembly includes a first lever with an upper end articulated to the parking platform and a lower end articulated to a base. A piston-cylinder assembly moves the lever assemblies to raise or lower the parking platform. The upper end of each lever assembly has an inner bearing rotatably mounted adjacent the inner surface of the respective lever assembly and an outer bearing mounted adjacent a surface of the parking platform facing away from the inner bearing. A pin engages the inner and outer bearings, passes through the upper end of the respective first lever and through a part of the parking platform facing the outer surface of the respective lever assembly.
Parking robot for a transportation vehicle
A parking robot for a transportation vehicle having a holding device for firmly holding a wheel of the transportation vehicle and housing at least one drive installation on two opposite sides. The drive installation has a height-adjustable running gear having at least one parking robot wheel and adjusts the holding device relative to the at least one parking robot wheel between a lowered and a raised position. The parking robot autonomously moves to a receiving position on the wheel of the transportation vehicle, in which receiving position the holding device firmly holds the wheel, and by adjusting the holding device to the raised position by the running gear, raises the firmly held wheel of the transportation vehicle relative to the respective parking robot wheels.
Connection system for vehicle and house
A connection system for a vehicle and a house is provided. The system forms a space in which the interior of the vehicle and the interior of the house are connected, when the vehicle and the house are connected with both a door of the vehicle and an entrance of the house open.
