Locking device for a movable part of a vehicle
A locking device for a movable part of a vehicle, in particular for a bonnet of a vehicle, having a locking mechanism which can be mounted on the body side and intended for receiving a lock holder arranged on the movable part, and also having a raising mechanism which can be brought into contact with the lock holder and intended for moving the movable part into at least one protection position, wherein the raising mechanism has at least a first overload protector, with the result that, in a load situation, the movable part is movable from the protection position into an impact position.
LATCH ASSEMBLY FOR A HOOD OF A VEHICLE, A HOOD ELEVATION SYSTEM AND A METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A LATCH ASSEMBLY
A latch assembly for a hood of a vehicle including a first plate including an elongated slot extending in a horizontal direction (H), a second plate, a first member being mechanically connected to the second plate, the first member extending in a vertical direction (V) through the elongated slot, slidably connecting the first plate to the second plate, at least one deformable element, in a retracted position of the latch assembly, securing the first plate to the second plate in the horizontal direction (H), and the at least one deformable element being arranged to deform upon impact in the horizontal direction (H) allowing the first plate to slide relative to the second plate in the horizontal direction (H) to an extended position. The present disclosure further relates to a hood elevation system for a vehicle and a method for manufacturing a latch assembly for a hood of a vehicle.
Undercounter refrigerator with access control
An apparatus and method for storing medical products such as pharmaceutical and medical products in climate controlled storage devices includes climate control systems in communication with inventory access and tracking systems.
LOCKING SYSTEM FOR DOORS AND WINDOWS
A system including a barrier implement, a barrier implement frame, wherein the barrier implement frame is configured to engage said barrier implement, a bolt lock, wherein the bolt lock is configured to secure the barrier implement frame to the barrier implement in a lock position, a central locking and/or release knob, a cable or rod, wherein the cable or rod is configured to interconnect the central locking and/or release knob and the bolt lock, and wherein the central locking and/or release knob is configured to release said bolt lock by pulling in the cable or rod to move the bolt lock out of the lock position.
Lock, lid lock and locking mechanism
A lock, a lid lock and a locking mechanism are provided. The lock includes a base, and a driving mechanism, a connecting mechanism and a locking mechanism which are provided on the base. The base is buckled to a housing. The connecting mechanism has a first end connected to the driving mechanism, and a second end thereof connected to the locking mechanism. The locking mechanism is rotatably connected to the base to perform a locking operation or an unlocking operation. A return spring is sleeved on the locking mechanism, one end of the return spring is connected to the housing, and the other end to the locking portion of the locking mechanism. The locking mechanism is connected to a control system. In the unlocking operation, the control system determines that the locking portion is disconnected to the return spring according to the locking portion in an unfolded position relative to the base, and determines that the locking mechanism is connected to the return spring according to the locking mechanism in a retracted position relative to the base.
WEATHER-RESISTANT LOCK
A lock can include attack-resistant and/or weather-resistant features. Attack-resistant features can include a sacrificial link between a locking mechanism and an external keyway covering an exterior face of the locking mechanism. The sacrificial link can break during a torque attack on the lock such that the full force of the torque attack is not applied to the locking mechanism. Weather-resistant features can include drain openings in one or more housing components external to the locking mechanism to facilitate drainage of liquid matter from the lock before the liquid matter reaches the locking mechanism.
MECHANICAL SECURITY FEATURE FOR A HOUSING
A housing includes an upper housing member, a lower housing member, a first interlocking member, and a second interlocking member. The first interlocking member includes an engagement portion, and a first interlocking portion. The engagement portion is at a proximate end and is configured to engage a corresponding contact surface of the upper housing member. The first interlocking portion is at a distal end. The second member extends from the lower housing member into an inner volume of the upper housing member. The second interlocking member includes an opening and a second interlocking portion. The opening is positioned between a proximate end and a distal end of the second interlocking member. The window is configured to at least partially receive the first interlocking portion of the first interlocking member. The second interlocking portion is configured to engage a corresponding engagement portion of the upper housing member.
DOOR, LOCK, OPERATOR, ASSEMBLY AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
The present invention relates to an anti-barricade door handle assembly which comprises an integrated auxiliary door handle for use in an emergency. The auxiliary door handle can be configured between a stowed configuration and an activated configuration. The auxiliary door handle is operable to operate a lock when in the activated configuration and inoperable when in the stowed configuration. The auxiliary door handle can only be configured to the activated configuration by an authorized user. The auxiliary door handle is configured to override a primary door handle which operates the lock in normal, non-emergency use.
CLOSING DEVICE FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
A closing device for a motor vehicle includes a locking mechanism having a rotary latch and at least one pawl, a trigger lever, with the locking mechanism being unlocked by the trigger lever, and a blocking component which is arranged on the closing device for blocking a movement of the trigger lever when a load acts on the motor vehicle from the outside. The blocking component can be guided in the closing device in a movable manner.
Door Gap Lock
A door gap lock includes a door leaf part that is configured to be arranged on a door leaf and that has an axially slidably mounted locking bolt, and includes a frame part that is configured to be arranged on a door frame and has a rotatably mounted pivot lever, where the locking bolt can be slid into a guide on the pivot lever and, during a relative movement between the door leaf part and the frame part, the locking bolt is guided in a form-fitting manner in the guide so as to be slidable therein over a defined distance, and where the guide when arranged in the pivot lever has a predetermined breaking point at which the locking bolt breaks through the guide when a defined force is applied to the locking bolt.
