Double lock design for polypropylene housing
A plastic arrangement that includes a first plastic component, a second plastic component, and a plastic lock mechanism for fastening the second plastic component to the first plastic component. The plastic lock mechanism includes a first lock unit and a second lock unit. The first lock unit includes a U-shaped cantilever member, a catch element and a catch element retention part. The second lock unit includes a protruding member and a protruding member retention part. The plastic lock mechanism provides a locked position wherein the catch element retention part restricts movement of the catch element for preventing the second plastic component from separating from the first plastic component, and the protruding member retention part restricts movement of the protruding member for hindering the moving of the first lock unit to a released position.
Camlock
An all-plastic, tumbler-free cam lock includes a cylindrical lock body with a flange extending radially from the distal end to be glued to a surface surrounding a mounting hole. The lock body has a bore extending axially and a central spindle received coaxially in the bore. A key has a cylindrical tubular key body insertable concentrically between the lock body shoulder and the distal end of the spindle. A pair of outer key lugs extend radially outwardly from the tubular key body to pass through the key channels of an interior shoulder of the lock body, thus permitting access only by one key configuration. A third key lug extends radially inwardly from the inner surface of the tubular key body to engage a keyway channel of the spindle.
Camera housing
A camera housing having a first housing portion that forms a first portion of a cavity to receive a camera and a second housing portion. The second housing portion that forms a second portion of the cavity to receive the camera. A hinge movably connecting the first housing portion to the second housing portion so that the second housing portion is movable relative to the first housing portion to expose the cavity. Fastening structures configured to connect the first housing portion to the second housing portion when the camera housing is in a closed position, wherein one of the fastening structures include a first latch component and a second latch component. The first latch component connected to the first housing portion. The second latch component configured to connect to the second housing portion at a first end and the first latch component at a second end and the first latch component is configured to position the second latch component over the second housing portion so that the second latch component couples the first housing portion and the second housing portion together. Protrusions extending from the first housing portion and configured to connect the camera housing to a mount.
Tamper resistant sash lock
A tamper-resistant sash window lock includes a housing, a shaft, a cam, and a lever member. An interior surface of the housing wall that defines a cavity. A portion of the interior surface of the housing wall is curved about a hole in the housing, with a distal end of the wall portion formed into a lock surface. The shaft is rotatably mounted in the hole, and a hub of the cam is rotatably mounted on the shaft. The cam has a cantilevered arm with a lock surface and an engagement surface. The lever member is fixedly secured to the shaft, for a first side thereof to engage and drive the cam hub in a first rotational direction into a lock position when the shaft is actuated in the first rotational direction, so the lock surface of the cantilevered arm engages the lock surface of the housing preventing forced entry.
Push and slide gate handle
The present gate handle includes a push button that is pushed before the gate handle is slid from a closed position to an open position on top of a support member. The support member includes a resilient button that extends into the gate handle and is pushable out of the gate handle by the push button. The support member further includes side slots that are engaged by side slides extending from the handle.
LATCH ASSEMBLIES FOR PORTABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICES
A latch assembly for housing cover is provided. Latch assembly has switch, latch, elastic clamp, and pushbutton. Switch is disposed on first side of cover. Switch is slidable in first direction to unlocked position for unlocking latch assembly and slidable in second direction to locked position for locking latch assembly. Latch has projection for engaging and disengaging with latch slot in housing for releasably latching cover to housing. Elastic clamp has detent portion for releasable engagement with notch in second side of cover. Latch and elastic clamp are disposed on second side of cover opposite switch and coupled to switch. Pushbutton extends through aligned openings in switch, latch, and portion of elastic clamp. Latch assembly is unlocked by depressing pushbutton to impinge on elastic clamp portion, thereby disengaging detent portion from notch and by simultaneously moving the switch in the first direction.
Container with safety-latch
A container with a safety-latch, the container comprising: a lid; a base rotatably attached to the lid; a lip located on the lid; a base pin attached to the base; an outer sleeve rotatably attached to the base pin; a U-shaped pin rotatably attached to the outer sleeve, and configured to removably attach to the lip; where the outer sleeve and U-shaped pin are difficult for a child to manipulate in order to remove the U-shaped pin from the lip.
CAMERA HOUSING
The present teachings provide a camera housing that includes a first housing portion, a second housing portion, a hinge, a latch mechanism, and protrusions. The first housing portion forms a first portion of a cavity. The second housing portion forms a second portion of the cavity The hinge is located within the first housing portion so that the first housing portion is divided into a first piece and a second piece. The hinge movably connects the first housing portion to the second housing portion so that the second housing portion is movable relative to the first housing. The latch mechanism is movable between an open position and a closed position. The protrusion extend from a third housing portion, and the third housing portion is located opposite the first housing portion with respect to the cavity.
Camera housing
A camera housing includes a main body having four sides that form a cavity to receive a camera, a door detachably coupled to the main body, and an exposed area in the main body allowing a user to manipulate a button on the camera or access an I/O or microphone interface of the camera. The camera housing includes an indicator window substantially aligning with a visible indicator on the camera, a latch detachably securing a first side of the door to a first side of the main body; and a hinge coupling a second side of the door to a second side of the main body. The camera housing includes securing protrusions that interlock with corresponding mounting protrusions extending from a camera mount. A front face and a rear face of the camera are exposed when the camera is secured by the door in the camera housing.
