Electronic storage cabinet lock

An electronic storage cabinet lock includes a lock housing, a lock core, a circuit board, a motor assembly, a clutch mechanism and a battery assembly that are installed in an outer shell. A button assembly and a handle are mounted on the outer side of the outer shell. A cam is mounted on the motor assembly. One end of the lock core is secured in a shaft hole of the handle. When a password is correctly inputted, the button assembly transmits information to the circuit board to control the motor assembly to operate. The cam is driven to rotate to control the open state or closed state of the clutch mechanism. The handle can rotate to drive the lock core to rotate, thereby rotating a lock tongue to open the lock.

Handle device

The handle device comprises a first element (3, 103), which is rotatable about an axis of rotation, a second element (8, 108), and a coupling device (10, 110) which is arranged to selectively allow and prevent relative rotation about the axis of rotation between the first and the second element. The coupling device comprises a first coupling member (11, 111) which is connected to or forming an integral part of the first element. A second coupling member (12) is connected to or forming an integral part of the second element (112). At least one engaging member (13, 13, 113, 114) is movable between an engagement position in which it simultaneously engages the first and the second coupling members to thereby prevent relative rotation between the first and second element and a release position in which it is disengaged from at least one of the first and second coupling members to thereby allow relative rotation between the first and second element. An actuator (22, 122) is arranged to move the engaging member between the engagement position and the release position. The engaging member (13, 14, 113, 114) is pivotally mounted to the first coupling member (11,111) and arranged to pivotally move between the engagement position and the release position.

An exemplary trim assembly comprises a housing assembly, a cam rotatably mounted to the housing assembly, a lift finger slidably mounted in the housing assembly such that the cam is operable to linearly drive the lift finger between a deactuated position and an actuated position, and a locking mechanism operable to selectively retain the lift finger in the deactuated position. The locking mechanism includes an interface member engaged with the lift finger such that movement of the lift finger moves the interface member between a home position and an offset position, a blocking member operable to selectively prevent movement of the interface member from the home position, and a driver configured to move the blocking member between a blocking position and an unblocking position to thereby lock and unlock the trim assembly.
