Motorized movable strike for a vehicle door
A motorized moveable strike assembly is provided for a vehicle door. The assembly includes a strike on the door post which is moveable by an electric motor between extended and retracted positions. A latch on the door releasably engages the strike. A switch in the latch sends a signal to the controller to actuate the motor after the latch is engaged so as to retract the strike from the extended position to fully close the door. When the latch is disengaged from the strike, the latch switch sends a signal to controller to actuate the motor so as to extend the strike from the retracted position to the extended position as to prepare for the next door closing.
DEVICES, STRUCTURES, AND METHODS FOR CONTROLLING LATCHING OPERATIONS
Various disclosed embodiments include illustrative devices, systems, and methods. In an illustrative embodiment, a device includes a latch motor configured to generate a power value, a position sensor configured to generate a striker pin position signal, a processor configured to communicate with the latch motor and the position sensor, and a memory configured to store computer-executable instructions. The computer-executable instructions are configured to cause the processor to determine the striker pin position in response to the generated striker pin position signal, detect an obstruction in response to the striker pin position and the power value, and perform an anti-pinch function in response to the detected obstruction.
Lock actuation device having an emergency opening function
A device and a method for opening and closing a motor vehicle door having a door lock. The device includes an electric opening actuator and an electric closing actuator, by means of which the door lock can be brought from a pre-locking position into a final-locking position. A control device controls the opening and closing actuators. The control device, in the event of a door opening request during operation of the closing actuator, first switches the closing actuator into a reversing mode, in which the door lock can be moved again in the opening direction and the opening actuator is triggered after a predetermined period of time.
Motor vehicle lock
A motor vehicle lock has a pawl and a catch that may be moved into an open position, a preliminary latching position and a main latching position. In one of the latching positions, the catch is or may be brought into holding engagement with a lock striker. In the installed state, during a cinching routine, the catch is moved into its main latching position by a cinching drive. A spring biased freewheel mechanism, which is limited to a freewheel distance, is provided between the cinching drive and the catch. With the reaction force of the catch exceeding a predefined level, the cinching drive freewheels with respect to the catch against the spring bias of the freewheel mechanism, until the freewheel distance is reached and the freewheel mechanism is interlocked for force transmission.
Motor-vehicle door lock
A motor vehicle door lock, more particularly a flap lock or a hood lock includes a locking mechanism substantially consisting of a rotary latch and a pawl. There is also a motorized closing aid which has a motor and also a first lever, which is acted upon by the motor, and a second lever. The two levers are hinged to each other. During the lowering of a flap or hood, the second lever first of all carries out a movement, which is controlled by the rotary latch, while simultaneously freewheeling in relation to the first lever. Only following the freewheeling does the first lever, which is then driven, act upon the second lever, in order to close the rotary latch.
Motor vehicle door lock
A motor vehicle door lock comprising a locking mechanism (1, 2) and a closing/opening device (7 to 16) with at least one drive (7 to 11 and 13, 14), at least one transfer element (12, 15) and a driving pawl (16), in which the drive acts on the driving pawl with the assistance of the transfer element to open and close the locking mechanism, wherein a mechanical and/or electrical opening drive (7 to 11) and a mechanical and/or electrical closing drive (13, 14) each with a respective opening transfer lever (12) and closing transfer lever (15) are provided, in which the opening drive (7 to 11) including the opening transfer lever (12) in addition to the opening function for the locking mechanism (1, 2) is also designed to interrupt a closing function initiated by the closing drive (13, 14) in connection with the closing transfer lever (15).
Opening and closing apparatus with lock
An opening and closing apparatus with a lock that is provided is capable of safely and promptly closing a sliding door, and also easily performing unlocking with a simple configuration. In an opening and closing apparatus with a lock for opening and closing sliding doors that are provided with elastic members at their door leading ends, output of an electric motor is transmitted to a rack-and-pinion mechanism or a lock mechanism. A control unit controls the electric motor such that a closing operation is performed, the closing operation operates the rack-and-pinion mechanism so as to move the sliding doors to a fully closed position and then displacing a link mechanism in a lock mechanism from an unlocking position to a locking position. Furthermore, the control unit controls the electric motor so as to reduce the output of the electric motor at a predetermined intermediate time point during the closing operation.
DOOR LOCK, IN PARTICULAR MOTOR VEHICLE DOOR LOCK
A door lock, in particular a motor vehicle door lock, is designed with a locking mechanism consisting substantially of a catch and a pawl. Furthermore, a closing device which acts on the locking mechanism is provided, wherein the closing device has at least one motor-driven actuation lever, a driving pawl which interacts with a locking mechanism component, and at least one unlocking element for mechanically interrupting the force flow between the actuation lever and the drawing pawl. According to the invention, the unlocking element largely without exerting a force, for an emergency unlocking function, said coupling element being converted in the process from its formerly “engaged” state to the “disengaged” functional position.
Motor vehicle lock
A motor vehicle lock has a pawl and a catch that may be moved into an open position, a preliminary latching position and a main latching position. In one latching position, that catch is or may be brought into holding engagement with a lock striker. During a cinching routine, the catch is moved into its main latching position by a cinching drive. An overload clutch with two clutch elements is provided in the drive train between the cinching drive and the catch. The clutch elements are in engagement with each other for the transmission of cinching forces. The engagement is load dependent in a beginning section of the cinching routine, such that the engagement, and thereby the overload clutch, is disconnected in reaction to exceeding a predefined limit load in the drive train. The engagement is load independent in the remaining, subsequent section of the cinching routine.
