Safety brake for vertical lifting doors
A vertical door system includes a safety brake that is engaged when the vertical door system fails. The safety brake includes a panel with a slanted channel and a pin slidably disposed in the slanted channel. The panel may be coupled to a counterweight that keeps the pin from engaging with stops in a track when the safety brake is disengaged. When the panel is uncoupled from the counterweight, the safety brake engages and the pin may slide in the channel to allow contact between a portion of the pin and one of the stops in the track to inhibit movement of a door.
MAIN TILTING DOOR FOR THE CLOSURE OF AN ACCESS OPENING OF A ROOM, PARTICULARLY OF A GARAGE SPACE AND METHOD FOR THE ASSEMBLY ON SITE OF A MAIN TILTING DOOR
A main tilting door for the closure of an access opening of a room comprises two fixed uprights and one fixed crosspiece associable with each other to define a fixed frame. The fixed uprights comprise vertical sliding guides; two movable uprights and two movable crosspieces associable with each other to define a movable frame; tilting movement means comprising: two lateral supporting arms each having a first end which can be hinged to an intermediate area of the movable uprights and a second end which can be hinged to a top of the fixed uprights; two sliding supports movable along the vertical sliding guides; a plurality of panels associable with the movable frame; wherein at least one of said movable uprights and said movable crosspieces comprises a sliding track and a plurality of cursors movable along the sliding track, the panels being associable with the cursors.
Mechanical mono-fold door
The monolithic door of the present invention includes a single panel door having a top edge and a front and back side. The door is hinged at the top edge, within a door opening, to a structure (in one embodiment, a door frame header). A winding mechanism is secured towards the top of a first vertical member of the door frame and a second winding mechanism is secured towards the top of a second vertical member of the door frame, opposite the first vertical member. A compression strut on each side of the door is secured to tension straps or cables which are in turn attached to a corresponding winding mechanism secured to the structure. An actuator operatively connected to the winding mechanisms rotates the drums to either force the door open or allow the door to close.

The monolithic door of the present invention includes a single panel door having a top edge and a front and back side. The door is hinged at the top edge, within a door opening, to a building structure (in one embodiment, a door frame header). A first cam style winding mechanism is secured towards the top of a first vertical member of the door frame and a second winding mechanism is secured towards the top of a second vertical member of the door frame, opposite the first vertical member. A compression strut on each side of the door is secured to tension straps or cables which are in turn attached to a corresponding winding mechanism secured to the building structure. An actuator operatively connected to the winding mechanisms rotates the drums to either to force the door open or allow the door to close.
SAFETY BRAKE FOR VERTICAL LIFTING DOORS
In various implementations, a vertical door system may include a door and a movement member that allows adjustment of the position (e.g., height) of the door. The door may be disposed in a track at a location. The vertical door system may include a safety brake that inhibits movement of the door when engaged and allows movement of the door when disengaged. The safety brake may include a pin that extends from the safety brake to contact a stop in the track to inhibit movement of the door when the safety brake is engaged.
Main door for the control of the access opening to a compartment, particularly a garage compartment
The main door for the control of the access opening to a compartment, particularly a garage compartment, comprises: a fixed portion associable with the access opening of a compartment; a mobile portion including a leaf associated in a mobile way with the fixed portion; at least a pulley on which winds up a cable connected to the leaf and to a counterweight; an operating shaft of the pulley mounted on the fixed portion; a winding-unwinding device having a flexible element which can be wound and unwound which is associated with the top of the leaf; an electric motor mounted on the fixed portion and suitable for placing a driving shaft in rotation; and a transmission and distribution having a first electromagnetic clutch to transmit motion from the driving shaft to the operating shaft and a second electromagnetic clutch to transmit motion from the driving shaft to the winding-unwinding device.
Main tilting door for closing an access opening of a room
A main tilting door for the closure of an access opening of a room includes two fixed uprights, including vertical sliding guides, and one fixed crosspiece associable with each other to define a fixed frame. The door includes two movable uprights and two movable crosspieces associable with each other to define a movable frame. The door includes tilting movement device/unit/component/apparatus or the like including two lateral supporting arms each having a first end which can be hinged to an intermediate area of the movable uprights and a second end which can be hinged to a top of the fixed uprights; and two sliding supports movable along the vertical sliding guides. The door includes panels associable with the movable frame. At least one of the movable uprights and the movable crosspieces includes a sliding track and cursors movable along the sliding track, the panels associable with the cursors.
KIT FOR THE ASSEMBLY OF A MAIN DOOR FOR THE CLOSURE OF A COMPARTMENT, PARTICULARLY OF A GARAGE COMPARTMENT
A kit for the assembly of a main door comprises at least two fixed uprights and at least one fixed crossbeam, associable with each other to define a fixed frame that can be attached to an access opening of a compartment, wherein the access opening has relevant reference dimensions; at least two movable uprights and a plurality of panels, associable with the movable uprights to define a movable leaf; a movement device/structure/component/element/unit/apparatus, associable between the movable uprights and the fixed frame; where at least one of the fixed uprights, the fixed crossbeam and the movable uprights is made according to respective predefined standard dimensions, which are bigger than the reference dimensions, and comprises at least one related trimmable portion, provided with at least one graduated reference scale adapted to allow the cutting of the trimmable portion depending on the reference dimensions.
