FLIP HINGE
A flip hinge for a motor vehicle includes an inner strap affixed to a body of the motor vehicle, an outer strap separate from the inner strap and affixed to a removable panel of the motor vehicle, and an intermediate link extending from the inner strap to the outer strap. The intermediate link is rotatably attached to the inner strap at a first link end by a spring-loaded pivot. The intermediate link is rotatably attached to the outer strap at a second link end by an outer strap pivot. The intermediate link is movable between at least a first position and a second position. The spring-loaded pivot biases the intermediate link towards the second position whenever the intermediate link is not in the first position, and the outer strap is separable from the intermediate link only when the intermediate link is in the first position.
PIVOTALLY SUPPORTING STRUCTURE AND CUP HOLDER COMPRISING PIVOTALLY SUPPORTING STRUCTURE
A turning member includes a pair of projecting shafts projecting coaxially in a shaft wall member formed in both right and left end portions of a shaft member. The turning member further includes a projecting portion projecting on a tip face of the projecting shaft, wherein a diameter is reduced relative to the projecting shaft. Usually, the projecting shaft is received in a bearing hole of a base member, so that the turning member is axially supported on the base member. When an unexpected external force is applied to the turning member, the projecting shaft is disengaged from the bearing hole so as to absorb an impact, thereby preventing damage to members, and the projecting portion engages the bearing hole and is held in a state received in the bearing hole, thereby preventing the turning member from dropping out.
Releasable Ball Lock Hinge
A releasable ball lock hinge is disclosed. The releasable ball lock hinge includes a first body operable with a hinge ball and a release ball. Each ball can be movable within respective openings of the first body. The releasable ball lock hinge also includes a second body configured to rotatably interface and removably couple with the first body. The hinge ball releasably engages the second body. The second body has a release recess operable with the release ball to disengage the hinge ball and alternately couple and release the first body and the second body based on a relative position between the first body and the second body.

Low-bulkiness hinge
A hinge for cold rooms or glass shutters, coupling a stationary support structure and a shutter movable between an open position and a shutter position, includes a hinge body having a working chamber; a pivot defining a first longitudinal axis coupled to the hinge body to rotate around the first axis between the open and the closed shutter position; a cam element integral with the pivot; a plunger element sliding in the working chamber along a second axis substantially perpendicular to the first axis, the plunger element having a slider with an operative face interacting with the cam element; and an elastic counteracting member acting upon the plunger element to move it along the second axis between a position proximal to the bottom wall of the working chamber and a position distal therefrom. The hinge body has a substantially plate shape.
Playless hinge system with releasable hinge pin
A hinge assembly suppressing periodic motions and abrasive wear that supports an axial load and integrated a releasable hinge pin with retractable latch pins. The connector arms for the hinge assembly may include bearings, smooth outer surfaces, and tight fittings to help suppress the periodic motions and abrasive wear. Adjustable mounting apertures reduce stress on the hinge system. A hinge aperture for each member enables an axial load arm, such as thrust bearings, to pass through for reducing periodic movements during pivotal operation. A lock arm can also pass through the hinge apertures. The lock arm uses a locking pin to fasten the members together. A smooth outer surface inhibits abrasive wear and creates a smooth pivoting motion. Non-circular mounting apertures may enable adjustable mounting for reducing stress on the system.
Removable tailgate with locking hinge
A hinge assembly for moving a tailgate about a hinge axis. The hinge assembly includes a first hinge part and a second hinge part for mating with the first hinge part. The second hinge part may be moved to a release position for releasing from the first hinge part, and a lock is provided for locking the second hinge part in the release position. A tailgate including the hinge assembly is also disclosed, which may also be provided with a powered raising and lowering capability. A related method is also disclosed.
