Lightweight lifter plate assembly for vehicle window
A lifter plate assembly for a window of a motor vehicle has a plastic main body. The main body includes a pair of rail guide hooks formed therein. The rail guide hooks are laterally spaced from one another and configured for sliding receipt of window regulator rails therein. A window clamp plate formed of the main body plastic extends in spaced relation from the main body to provide a receptacle configured for receipt of an edge of the window. A fastener assembly includes an elongate threaded member and a nut. The elongate threaded member extends through an opening in the main body and through an opening in the window clamp plate. At least one of the elongate threaded member and the nut is rotatable relative to the other to draw the window clamp plate and the main body toward one another to clamp against the edge of the window.
PULLEY RIVET FOR INSTALLATION OF PULLEYS FOR WINDOW REGULATOR SYSTEMS
A component for a window regulator system of a vehicle closure panel including: a rail having a rail aperture extending between a first side of the rail and a second side opposite the first side, the rail aperture having a retaining surface associated with the rail aperture; a pulley for mounting adjacent to the first side, the pulley having a pulley aperture with a pulley surface opposite the first side; a pulley rivet having a rivet body including a retaining lip for engaging with the pulley surface and a retainer portion for engaging with the retaining surface, the rivet body configured for receipt in both the pulley aperture and the rail aperture when installed, the rivet body having a hole for receiving a fastener for fastening the rail to a panel via the pulley rivet; wherein, when installed, the rivet body is positioned within the pulley aperture and within the rail aperture, such that engagement between the retaining lip and the pulley surface inhibits separation of the pulley from the rail while engagement of the retainer portion with the retaining surface inhibits separation of the pulley rivet from the rail aperture.
Pivotable sheath stop for a sheath, and corresponding bracket, guide rail, assembly, window lift, and mounting method
The invention relates to a sheath stop including: a hole through which a window lift cable is to pass; and a sheath abutment for locking the sheath of the window lift cable on one side of the sheath stop and wherein, on the other side of the sheath stop, the sheath stop includes a shaft provided so as to be mounted onto a bracket of the sheath stop such that the sheath stop has a freely rotatable mounting configuration on the bracket. The shaft extends transversely to the main orientation of the passage hole, and the passage hole has a partial side clearance that allows the cable a degree of bending freedom within a plane perpendicular to the shaft when the sheath stop freely pivots about the shaft.
Vehicle window regulator, and vehicle door structure comprising the vehicle window regulator
A window regulator comprises a carrier plate, a drive unit, a raising cable, a lowering cable, and a guide rail. The carrier plate is attached to a lower part on a first edge part side of the windowglass. The drive unit is capable of raising and lowering the windowglass via the carrier plate. The drive unit and the carrier plate are coupled by the raising cable and the lowering cable. The guide rail mates with the carrier plate so as to guide the carrier plate and constrain the operation of the windowglass to directions that intersect movement directions of the carrier plate.
Window assembly with movable pane
A window assembly may include a pane movable between open and closed positions, a cam having a cam surface, and a cam follower coupled to the movable pane for movement relative to the cam surface and engageable with the cam surface when the movable pane is near or in the closed position. The cam surface may be inclined toward a seal to direct the movable pane into the seal when the movable pane moves into the closed position. The cam surface may include a linear portion that extends along at least a majority of the path of travel of the movable pane. The cam follower may remain engaged with the cam surface throughout a desired portion of the path of travel of the movable pane.
Guide rail for a window lift and door system for a vehicle door
A guide rail for a window lifter for raising and lowering a window pane or door system for a vehicle door having a carrier and at least two guide rails disposed on the carrier. The guide rails include a guide profile that can be twisted or bent for guiding an adjusting part of the window lifter coupled to the window pane along an adjusting direction predetermined by the guide rails and the guide profile includes a base and two legs protruding at obtuse draft angles from the ends of the base, such that the size of the draft angles is proportional to the bending or twisting of the guide rails prescribed by the kinematics of the retraction of the window pane over the adjusting travel of the window pane.
Device for moving window glass for vehicle
A device for moving a window glass for a vehicle, may include a glass holder disposed on a door panel for the vehicle and supporting the window glass, and a curved rail guiding vertical movement of the glass holder and curved to form a hinge shaft.
CABLE GUIDE ASSEMBLY FOR A WINDOW REGULATOR
A cable guide assembly adapted for use with a guide rail for a motor vehicle, for redirecting a cable of a window regulator, includes a cable guide formed with an outer perimeter and a cable guide receiving site formed in the guide rail adapted to receive and mount the cable guide. The cable guide includes a cable guide groove to guide the cable wrapping around the cable guide and a generally circular interior cavity to mount to the guide rail. In the cable guide assembly, the cable guide is securely engaged with a center support in the cable guide receiving site and rotatable between two rotatable positions, a temporary holding position and a final position. In the temporary holding position, the cable is at a first tension and the cable is at a second tension higher than the first tension in the final position.

MOTOR VEHICLE DOOR
A motor vehicle door having a frame defining a window opening, and a window lift system having a first guide rail, a first sliding piece guided on the first guide rail, a second guide rail, a second sliding piece guided on the second guide rail, a cable drum and a drive cable driven by the cable drum and coupled to the sliding pieces, the drive cable guided in a Bowden cable sheath between an upper end region of the second guide rail and a connection region located between an upper end region of the first guide rail and a lower end region of the first guide rail. The Bowden cable sheath fastened in the upper end region of the second guide rail and in the connection region of the first guide rail.
