DOOR ACTUATOR WITH RETRACTION DEVICE
A vehicle door apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a door configured to be pivotably mounted to a body structure of a vehicle and a door locator mechanism. The door locator mechanism comprises a plunger and a retraction device. The plunger is configured to be actuated between extended and retracted positions. The retraction device is disposed on the plunger and configured to engage the body structure magnetically. The apparatus further comprises a controller configured to withdraw the plunger to the retracted position while activating the retraction device electromagnetically connecting the plunger to the door.
Overhead door lift assembly and tensioner
The overhead door lift assembly integrates a traditional torsion spring and an electrically powered operator into a small package mountable in the available head space of conventional tractor trailers, cargo vehicles or other structures. The lift assembly includes a torsion spring counterbalance, electrical operator, and back tension mechanism. The electrical operator uses an electromagnetic clutch and gearbox that couples directly to the cable drums of the counterbalance. The electromagnetic clutch allows the overhead door to be manually raised and lowered in the event of a power interruption or operator malfunction. The back tension mechanism prevents cables from inadvertently unspooling from cable drums as the operator starts to move the overhead door from its horizontal open position to its vertical closed position.
Swing door actuation system having a power swing door actuator and a control system
A swing door actuation system for moving a door about a pivot axis between open closed positions relative to a vehicle body. The system includes a power swing door actuator having a housing connectable to one of the swing door and the vehicle body, an extensible member that moves relative to the housing, and connects to the other of the swing door and the vehicle body, a motor connected to a gear train, and a normally engaged clutch. The motor is operatively connected to a clutch input end through the gear train. The output end is operatively connected to the extensible member. The clutch is disengageable to disconnect the motor from the extensible member. The clutch has a slip torque that is sufficiently high to prevent movement of the door when the door is exposed to less than a selected external torque and the motor is stopped.
VEHICLE DOOR ARRANGEMENT HAVING A SENSOR DEVICE FOR DETECTING A WISH FOR ADJUSTMENT
A vehicle door assembly including a vehicle door pivotally arranged on a vehicle body, a force-transmitting device for adjusting and/or fixing the vehicle door relative to the vehicle body, wherein the force-transmitting device includes a transmission element for producing a flux of force between the vehicle door and the vehicle body in order to adjust the vehicle door relative to the vehicle body or hold it in position relative to the vehicle body, and a control device for controlling the force-transmitting device. In addition, there is provided a sensor device in the form of an acceleration sensor arranged on the vehicle door for measuring the acceleration of the vehicle door, or a gyrosensor arranged on the vehicle door for measuring the angular velocity of the vehicle door, or a force sensor arranged in the flux of force between the vehicle door and the vehicle body.
EMERGENCY RELEASE DEVICE FOR MANUALLY OPENING AND CLOSING A FOUR FOLD POWER DOOR SYSTEM
A release for a power door system for actuating door panels between closed and opened positions. A linkage includes an operator arm telescopically supporting a push rod. A housing is secured to the operator arm. A pin extends through apertures in the arm and the push rod. A release cable extends from the housing and, in response to displacement, causes the pin to retract, permitting inter-telescoping motion of the push rod relative the operator arm, in turn permitting manual displacement of the doors. A compression spring supported within the housing influences the pin into engagement with the operator arm and push rod. A locking pin and guide is incorporated into a cable mounting guard below the spring pin, the locking pin displacing with the spring pin and preventing return displacement of the spring pin in response to a single pull retraction of the spring pin.
VEHICLE DOOR ASSEMBLY HAVING A DOOR DRIVE
A vehicle door assembly may include a vehicle door pivotally arranged on a vehicle body, a drive motor for electromotively adjusting the vehicle door, a transmission element for producing a flux of force between the vehicle door and the vehicle body to adjust the vehicle door relative to the vehicle body, and a control device for controlling the drive motor. The control device may be configured to provide an anti-pinch protection. An acceleration sensor may be arranged on the vehicle door for measuring the acceleration of the vehicle door.
Pneumatic Control System
The disclosure relates to a pneumatic control system for a working cylinder, which pneumatic control system enables resistance-free manual motion of the device driven by the working cylinder in the event of a failure or switch-off of the compressed air supply and is independent of electrical supply. The problem is solved by means of a pneumatic control system having a double-acting working cylinder, the two chambers of which can be connected oppositely to a compressed air source and a compressed air outlet by means of a controllable supply device having two operating positions, an independently resetting 3/2-way valve switchable by means of a control pressure being arranged before each chamber in a connecting line to the supply device, which 3/2-way valves connect the chambers to bleeding outlets in a first switching position and to the supply device in a second switching position, and a parallel circuit of a check valve and a throttle point being arranged before each chamber, the check valves of which parallel circuits block in the backflow direction, wherein the two 3/2-way valves assume the first switching position in the idle position and can be switched by means of a common control line, which is connected to both connecting lines to the supply device downstream of the 3/2-way valves by means of a changeover valve, and the parallel circuits are arranged in the connecting lines downstream of the respective 3/2-way valves.
Ejecting device and arrangement consisting of a piece of furniture and an ejecting device
An ejecting device can eject a cover element movably mounted on a piece of furniture, in particular a folding door or folding/sliding door, from a closed position into an open position. The cover element can be moved at least in a first direction perpendicular to the closing plane, on which the cover element is arranged in the closed position, and in a second direction parallel to the closing plane. The ejecting device includes an energy accumulator, which is to be charged manually by a user, and an ejecting element, on which the energy accumulator acts. The energy accumulator can be charged by moving the cover element substantially in a direction parallel to the closing plane, preferably during an ongoing cover element opening process following the ejection process, particularly preferably immediately following the ejection process.
DEVICE FOR DISPLACING A DOOR FOR A TRANSPORT VEHICLE COMPRISING A PARTIAL OPENING FUNCTION, DOOR AND VEHICLE THUS EQUIPPED
The device comprises a main body, fixing means affording the fixing of the leaf to the body, drive means able to drive a body under the effect of motor means, locking means able to move between an active locking position in which they lock the drive means with respect to the body, in the closed position of the leaf, and an inactive unlocking position in which they allow a displacement of the drive means with respect to this body, and partial opening means able to allow a small movement of the fixing means with respect to the drive means, in the displacement direction, from the closed position of the leaf. The device further comprises means for inhibiting the partial opening means, able to immobilize the fixing means with respect to the drive means, at least in translation in said displacement direction, when the locking means are in their inactive position.
