The edge beam configured to mechanically cooperate with strikers along the first jamb and mechanically cooperate with strikers along the second jamb. The edge beam including a plurality of catches. Respective ones of the plurality of catches interlock with corresponding ones of the strikers along the first jamb when the foldable barrier is in a stowed position such that a flight deck of an aircraft is accessible. Respective ones of the plurality of catches interlock with corresponding ones of the strikers along the second jamb when the foldable barrier is in an expanded position limiting access to the flight deck barrier of the aircraft.

EMERGENCY BI-FOLD DOOR CLOSING PREVENTION SYSTEM
20230235606 · 2023-07-27 ·

An emergency bi-fold door closing prevention system includes a building having an access opening with an upper edge. A bi-fold door is hingedly mounted to the building wall and includes a plurality of panels each being laterally elongated. The plurality of panels includes a bottom panel having a bottom edge that is positionable adjacent to a floor surface to define a closed position. A safety line assembly is attached to and extends between the building wall adjacent to the upper edge and the bi-fold door adjacent to the bottom edge. The safety line has an extendable length. The length of the safety line assembly extends when the bi-fold door moves toward the closed position below a threshold velocity. The length of the safety line assembly is inhibited from extending when the bi-fold door moves toward the closed position above the threshold velocity to prevent unimpeded falling of the bi-fold door.

Bifold door with spherical bearing and pin

A bifold door includes a first hinge and a second hinge configured to rotatably couple the bifold door to a doorframe. The bifold door includes a slider configured to slide within a track of the doorframe as the bifold door is opened and closed. At least one of the first hinge, the second hinge, and the slider includes a spherical bearing and a pin.

OFFSET ROLLER CARRIER AND BOTTOM BRACKET ASSEMBLY
20230003065 · 2023-01-05 ·

Disclosed is a bottom bracket assembly for a sectional door. Roller wheels engage with tracks along the sides of the doorway to support the door and guide it to move up and down or open and close the doorway. A lift cable connected with lift engagements may be provided to provide an upward bias to the motion of the door to offset the weight of the door. The roller wheels are supported by the bottom bracket assemblies connected at bottom portions of the edge stiles of the door. Each bottom bracket assembly has a bottom bracket fastened to the edge stile and a roller carrier that supports roller wheel. The connection between the roller carrier and the bottom bracket is adjustable to allow the wheel of the roller to be adjusted to a position outward of the edge of the door so that portions of the door, such as a lift bracket connected with the lift cable, do not interfere with the track.

Ejecting device for a folding door

An ejecting device for a folding door is movably arranged on a furniture body. First and second door leaves of the folding door are interconnected in an articulated manner. The ejecting device has an ejecting element for folding open the folding door from a closed position, in which the door leaves are in a common closed plane, into an open position, in which the door leaves form an angle not equal to 180°. The ejecting device has a first fitting part for mounting the ejecting device on the first door leaf. The ejecting element can move the second door leaf from the closed position into the open position by a scissor mechanism having at least two scissor levers, and is mounted between the first and second door leaves by an articulated connection formed by an intermediate lever connected in an articulated manner to the first and/or second scissor lever.

Track- or rail-mounted closure drive assembly

A device for a closure drive assembly can include: a moveable trolley, the trolley configured for movement along a track or a rail under drive by a drive component to move a closure between an open position and a closed position, the trolley including a body having a guiding surface; a rotating body having one or more camming surfaces, rotation of the rotating body about a rotation axis being supported by the guiding surface; and a lever having a lever camming surface configured to engage with one or more of the camming surfaces of the rotating body, wherein the lever is associated with an engagement member such that rotation of the lever moves the lever camming surface along the one or more rotating body camming surfaces to displace the engagement member, and wherein the engagement member is arranged to provide selective engagement between the moveable trolley and the drive component.

Guide system for a door assembly, door assembly, and device assembly

A guide system for a door assembly including a door, which door can be attached to the guide system in a pivotal manner, has a closed position in which at least one device object can be covered on the front side and a parked position in which the door can be moved, preferably slid, in a direction transversely to the front of the at least one device object, preferably into a lateral receiving shaft, by the guide system. The guide system for the door is assembled or formed on a support structure separate from the device object to be covered, the support structure having at least one stand surface for standing on the floor of a room and/or at least one assembly device for assembling on the wall of a room.

TRACK- OR RAIL-MOUNTED CLOSURE DRIVE ASSEMBLY
20230045412 · 2023-02-09 ·

A device for a track- or rail-mounted closure drive assembly can include a lever and cam arrangement configured to drive an engagement member between an engaged position and a disengaged position, the engaged position allowing motor drive of a closure and the disengaged position disconnecting the drive from the motor to the closure; and a rotating body including one or more camming surfaces and one or more peripheral surfaces, the peripheral surfaces including visual indicia to indicate to a user an orientation of the one or more camming surfaces and hence whether the engagement member is in the engaged position or the disengaged position.
