FUEL RAIL AND ASSEMBLY
In some embodiments, a fuel rail for a two-stroke internal combustion engine includes a fuel rail body, a fuel inlet component integrated within the fuel rail body as a one-piece component and in fluidic contact with a fuel line, one or more fuel exit ports in fluidic contact with a cylinder of a combustion engine, and one or more fasteners adapted to secure the fuel rail body to a cylinder wall of the cylinder of the combustion engine
PROCESS FOR REDUCING INJECTOR DEPOSITS
A process for reducing injector deposits in an internal combustion engine fuelled with a fuel composition, the process comprising contacting a fuel composition with a metal-selective membrane situated in the fuel delivery system. The reduction of such deposits provides an increase in fuel efficiency, fuel thermal stability, boost in engine cleanliness, improves fuel economy and enables the possibility of using a reduced amount of expensive detergent in the fuel composition.
Polyacetal resin composition
A polyacetal resin composition capable of minimizing degradation when a molded body thereof comes into contact with an acidic cleaner. The polyacetal resin composition contains with respect to (A) 100 parts by mass of a polyacetal copolymer in which the amount of a hemiformal end group is 0.8 mmol/kg or less, (B) more than 1.0 parts by mass and at most 5.0 parts by mass of a hindered phenol-based antioxidant, and (C) more than 4.0 parts by mass and at most 30 parts by mass of magnesium oxide.
Fuel rail and assembly
In some embodiments, a fuel rail for a two-stroke internal combustion engine includes a fuel rail body, a fuel inlet component integrated within the fuel rail body as a one-piece component and in fluidic contact with a fuel line, one or more fuel exit ports in fluidic contact with a cylinder of a combustion engine, and one or more fasteners adapted to secure the fuel rail body to a cylinder wall of the cylinder of the combustion engine.
NOZZLE NEEDLE FOR A FUEL INJECTOR, AND INJECTOR HOUSING FOR A NOZZLE NEEDLE
A nozzle needle for a fuel injector, the nozzle needle including an elongated nozzle needle main body which has, at one of its two long ends, a nozzle needle tip for selectively closing an injection opening of the fuel injector. The nozzle needle also including a plastic and/or ceramic sleeve for enclosing the nozzle needle main body peripherally along a longitudinal region of the nozzle needle, which longitudinal region is spaced apart from the nozzle needle tip.
FUEL INJECTION VALVE
An object of the present invention is to provide a fuel injection valve configured to suppress bouncing of a valve element that is caused as a result of the valve element being rendered elastic when the valve element collides with a valve seat.
The fuel injection valve of the present invention includes the valve element configured to come into contact with the valve seat for closing an injection hole and to separate from the valve seat for unclosing the injection hole, an elastic member urging the valve element toward the valve seat, a movable iron core disposed to be in and out of contact with the valve element, a fixed iron core disposed to be opposed to the movable iron core, and a coil configured to generate electromagnetic force for moving the movable iron core. At least one lower rigidity part having reduced rigidity per axial unit length is provided between a surface where urging force of the elastic member is transmitted to the valve element and a seat part whereat the valve element comes into contact with and separates from the valve seat.
Fuel injector and method for manufacturing fuel injector
A fuel injector 100 includes a nozzle member 60 having a fuel passage 60a leading to an injection port 60b; a valve main body 51 adapted to reciprocate for opening and closing the fuel passage 60a; an elastic portion 56 elastically deformable in closing the fuel passage 60a by movement of the valve main body 51 in a closing direction, the elastic member being attached to one of the nozzle member 60 and the valve main body 51 and adapted to be abutted against the other of the nozzle member 60 and the valve main body 51 to close the fuel passage 60a by moving the valve main body 51 in the closing direction; and a stopper 70 adapted to restrict movement of the valve main body 51 in the closing direction by being abutted against the valve main body 51, the stopper 70 being formed of material different from the nozzle member 60.
PUMP, IN PARTICULAR HIGH-PRESSURE FUEL PUMP
Disclosed is a pump, in particular a high-pressure fuel pump, comprising at least one pump element (10) that has a roller tappet (20) inside which a roller (42) is rotatably mounted on a bearing bolt (44) by means of a bearing sleeve (46), said roller (42) rolling off a cam (22) of an input shaft (24). The bearing sleeve (46) is made of a plastic material, especially polyether ether ketone (PEEK) or polyphthalamide (PPA).
Anti-reflection device for fuel injection valve and fuel injection valve
An anti-reflection device for preventing the reflection of pressure waves inside a fuel injection valve. The anti-reflection device includes an essentially cylindrical base body with a first base side, a second base side, and an outer surface. The anti-reflection device also includes a longitudinal axis orientated parallel to a propagation direction of a pressure wave. The longitudinal axis penetrating the first base side and the second base side. The anti-reflection device also includes a flow path for fuel formed between the first base side and the second base side. The flow path forming a curve around the longitudinal axis.
DIRECT INJECTION GAS INJECTOR WITH AN ELASTOMER SEAL
A gas injector for injecting a gaseous fuel directly into a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine, having a valve closing element for releasing and closing a through-opening, a first seal seat between the valve closing element and a valve body, the first seal seat being a metallic seal seat having two metallic sealing partners, and having a second seal seat between the valve closing element and a stationary component, the second seal seat having at least one elastomer seal as sealing partner, the first seal seat being situated closer to the combustion chamber than is the second seal seat.
