PROTUBERANT COMPRESSIBLE FILTER SEAL DESIGN UTILIZING UNDERCUTS
Various embodiments relate to a filter housing seal member. The filter housing seal member includes a first member end and a second member end disposed axially away from the first member end. A first member portion is disposed between the first member end and the second member end. A second member portion is disposed between the first member end and the second member end. The second member portion is disposed radially away from the first member portion. An undercut is positioned along the first member portion, the undercut configured to receive and form a seal with a filter seal member of a filter element.
Method for producing a filter element provided with a sealing part
A method for producing a filter element provided with a sealing part in which the sealing material is introduced into a casting chamber between two tundish parts when in the non-cured state, and a compensation space connected to the casting chamber for the expansion of the sealing material.
Air filter and method of use
Air filters, and air filter devices for use in helicopters, and methods of use, are disclosed.
ENERGY-SAVING AND ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY FILTER AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THEREOF
The present disclosure relates to an energy-saving and environmentally friendly filter and a method for producing thereof. The energy-saving and environmentally friendly filter includes filter element body composed of a plurality of sections of bending parts, including a sealing part is arranged on the bending part and configured to block the bending part. The advantage of the present disclosure is that the large amount of air intake per unit time improves the combustion efficiency of the internal combustion engine fuel and makes the power more abundant.
METHOD FOR MOLDING A SEALING DEVICE ONTO AN END FOLD OF A BELLOWS, CASTING SHELL ASSEMBLY AND FILTER ELEMENT
In a method for molding a sealing device onto an end fold of a pleated bellows, wherein the end fold comprises an outer side and an inner side, the pleated bellows arranged in a casting shell assembly is embedded in a curable sealing material, limited at a rim of the pleated bellows by a casting chamber formed by the casting shell assembly. Expansion of the curable sealing material is reduced or prevented by a limitation element contacting the inner side of the end fold. A casting shell assembly has top and bottom casting shell parts forming a casting chamber to mold a sealing device onto the end fold of the pleated bellows by a sealing material. The bottom casting shell part has a channel for receiving the sealing material. The channel has an upwardly projecting limitation element for engaging an inner side of the end fold.
Filter Element and Method for Producing a Filter Element
A filter element for filtering fluid has a fold pack formed of a filter medium folded in a zigzag shape or corrugated shape and provided with fold sections delimited by fold edges. The fold sections include at least two directly neighboring fold sections connected to each other by an adhesive connection of an adhesive material and extending along an adhesive line. The adhesive line extends at least in sections obliquely to the fold edge positioned between the at least two directly neighboring fold sections or the adhesive line extends offset along the fold edge positioned between the at least two directly neighboring fold sections. A filter element with one or more adhesive walls of an adhesive material extending within the fold pack and formed by adhesive connections of directly neighboring fold sections of the fold pack is provided. A method for producing such filter elements is provided.
FILTER CARTRIDGES; AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLIES; HOUSINGS; FEATURES; COMPONENTS; AND, METHODS
According to the present disclosure, air cleaner assemblies, housings, serviceable filter cartridges and features, components, and methods, relating thereto are disclosed. In general, the features relate to systems that are configured to aid in inhibiting an improper cartridge from being installed in an air cleaner housing, during servicing. A variety of features are characterized, and in many examples, the cartridge includes a seal arrangement having radially directed seal surface with at least a first non-wavy or non-projection/recess section and a second wavy or projection/recess section. Examples are shown and described in detail.
Filter media pack with porous wrapper
A filter media block and filter element incorporating same are provided. Methods of forming a filter media block and filter element are also provided. The filter media block includes a block of filter media and an outer permeable layer. The outer layer provides support for the block of filter media.
CONE AIR FILTER
An apparatus and method are provided for a cone air filter for a closed intake system of an internal combustion engine. The cone air filter is comprised of a cone-shaped filter medium, retained between a base and a cap, that is fabricated to remove contaminants and particulate matter from an intake airstream. The base is comprised of a flange that couples with an air intake duct of the internal combustion engine. A shell receiver is incorporated into the base and receives a rigid exterior shell, such that the exterior shell surrounds the cone air filter and directs the intake airstream therein. A cap is disposed on an apex portion of the cone air filter and is configured to direct the intake airstream around the apex portion and into the cone-shaped filter medium.
Curved Seal on Filter Element and Protective Seal Mold
A filter seal member mold includes a first mold end and a second mold end disposed axially away from the first mold end. A first mold surface is disposed between the first mold end and the second mold end and includes at least one lobe mold and at least one guide channel mold. The at least one lobe mold is configured to form at least one lobe on an end of a filter element. The at least one guide channel mold is configured to form at least one guide channel on the end of the filter element. A second mold surface is disposed between the first and second mold end and disposed radially away from the first mold surface. A mold channel is formed between a first mold surface and a second mold surface. The mold channel includes a closed portion and an open portion adjacent the second mold end.
