An apparatus and a method for pre-heating an engine of a mild hybrid vehicle are provided, and the apparatus includes: a pre-heating plug pre-heating the engine; a pre-heating controller recognizing the mild hybrid vehicle based on vehicle driving information, determining whether the mild hybrid vehicle enters a coasting driving mode based on the vehicle driving information, and generating a duty control signal according to a coasting driving time when the mild hybrid vehicle is driven in the coasting driving mode; and a driver supplying electrical energy of the low-voltage battery to the pre-heating plug according to the generated duty control signal.

Disclosed is a control apparatus for controlling power supply from a power source to a glow plug, including a plurality of semiconductor switching elements arranged to turn on and of power supply to the glow plug, a temperature fuse actuated by a temperature rise thereof to interrupt power supply to the semiconductor switching elements, a failure detection portion that detects the occurrence or non-occurrence of an ON failure in each of the semiconductor switching elements, and a control portion that performs drive control of the semiconductor switching elements. When the failure detection portion detects the ON failure in at least one of the semiconductor switching elements, the control portion increases the amount of heat generation of either the at least one of the semiconductor switching elements in which the ON failure is detected or any of the semiconductor switching elements in which the ON failure is not detected.

There is provided a regeneration device for an exhaust-gas purifying device 40 which is provided in an exhaust system of an internal combustion engine, the regeneration device including: an injector for injecting fuel into a cylinder; a glow plug which is energized to be heated to thereby increase a temperature inside the cylinder; and a regeneration control unit for executing a regenerating operation for restoring a purification capacity of the exhaust-gas purifying device by controlling the injection of fuel of the injector and the energization of the glow plug , wherein during the regenerating operation, the regeneration control unit controls the injection of fuel of the injector by a multi-stage injection including at least a post injection and energizes the glow plug at a predetermined duty ratio to burn, within the cylinder, fuel supplied by the post injection.

The present disclosure provides a revolving speed variable voltage power supply for a glow plug of a two-stroke or four-stroke gasoline engine, including: an adjust device configured for outputting different control commands according to different revolving speeds of the two-stroke or four-stroke gasoline engine; a switch device connected to the adjust device, and configured for controlling an ON/OFF of a circuit according to the different control commands; a rectify device connected to the adjust device and the switch device, and configured to provide different voltages to the glow plug according to the different control commands and/or the ON/OFF of the switch device. According to the present disclosure, the effects of automatic control of voltage, ignition temperature, etc. can be achieved, the power consumption of the battery carried by the model can be effectively reduced, and the battery life and use stability can be increased.

A state transition of the MOSFET is provided and a drain-source voltage of the MOSFET is monitored. A variable current is provided through a gate of the MOSFET. A constant current is provided through the gate of the MOSFET, when the drain-source voltage of the MOSFET satisfies a predefined condition that is a function of a battery voltage.
