Turbomachinery blade and method of fabricating
The present invention is directed to a turbomachinery blade and a method of fabricating the turbomachinery blade. The turbomachinery blade comprises a plurality of blade segments, and the plurality of the blade segments are separate from one another at least partially in an axial direction forming radial seams between adjacent blade segments. The method comprises forming a plurality of blade segments which are separate from one another at least partially in an axial direction; and forming radial seams between adjacent blade segments.
DESIGN METHOD OF CENTER GUIDE PIN, MANUFACTURING METHOD OF CENTER GUIDE PIN, AND ASSEMBLING METHOD OF ROTARY MACHINE
A design method of a center guide pin includes a step of setting a virtual center axis of a casing, a step of acquiring a center position of the center guide pin in a horizontal direction, a step of acquiring, as a first offset amount, an offset amount of the center position of the center guide pin from the virtual center axis of the casing in the horizontal direction, a step of setting a virtual center axis of a diaphragm, a step of acquiring a center position of a groove portion in the horizontal direction, a step of acquiring, as a second offset amount, an offset amount of the center position of the groove portion from the virtual center axis of the diaphragm in the horizontal direction, and a step of designing the center guide pin based on the first offset amount and the second offset amount.
Machine for the generation of energy by exploiting the flow of fluid
A machine for generating energy by exploiting the flow of a fluid. The machine includes a first fixed or static component part or stator which defines a first cylindrical inner surface and a second outer surface. The machine further includes a second component part or rotor configured to be rotated and accommodated in the inner space confined by the first cylindrical inner surface. The first fixed or static component part or stator is configured to introduce a fluid into the inner space confined by the first inner surface through the second outer surface and first inner surface of the stator, such that the interaction between the flow of fluid introduced into the inner space and the second component part or rotor results in the second component part or rotor being rotated.
Multi-stage high pressure flanged pump assembly
A pump assembly for use within a high pressure pumping system includes housing, a head and a base. The housing contains at least one centrifugal pump stage. The head and base are attached to the housing with corresponding internal threaded connections. The head and base are further retained to the housing with corresponding external flanged connections. The external flanged connections provide redundant connections that reduce the risk of separation between the housing and the head and base.
Two-piece baffle
An airfoil vane includes an airfoil section which includes an outer wall that defines an internal cavity. A baffle is situated in the internal cavity. The baffle includes a leading edge portion and a trailing edge portion which is bonded to the leading edge portion at a joint. The leading edge portion and the trailing edge portion define an internal cavity therewithin. Both the leading edge portion and the trailing edge portion include a plurality of cooling holes which are configured to provide cooling air to the airfoil outer wall. The trailing edge portion is formed of sheet metal and the leading edge portion is formed of non-sheet-metal. A method of making a baffle for a vane arc segment and a method of assembling a ceramic matrix composite airfoil vane are also disclosed.
Rocket engine with integrated combustor head and turbopump
The present disclosure relates to a rocket engine, and more particularly, a rocket engine with an integrated combustor head and turbopump in which a turbopump of the rocket engine is formed integrally with a combustor head.

Gas turbine module, gas turbine plant including the same, method of unloading gas turbine module, and method of exchanging gas turbine module
A gas turbine module includes a gas turbine that has a gas turbine rotor and a turbine shell; an inlet plenum that is connected to an inlet of the gas turbine; an exhaust plenum that is connected to an exhaust of the gas turbine; an enclosure that covers the gas turbine; and a common base on which the gas turbine, the inlet plenum, the exhaust plenum, and the enclosure are mounted. When moving the gas turbine, the gas turbine module is moved together.
Turbine shroud assembly with forward and aft pin shroud attachment
A turbine shroud assembly adapted for use with a gas turbine engine includes a carrier, a seal segment, and a mount assembly. The carrier is configured to be coupled to a turbine case. The seal segment is shaped to define a gas path boundary of the shroud assembly. The mounting assembly is configured to couple the seal segment to the carrier.
HEAT EXCHANGER FOR COOLING AN AIRCRAFT PROPULSION ENGINE
The heat exchanger is generally ring-shaped and includes a plurality of heat exchange modules (2), which are mutually independent, being distributed about the axis (A1) of the ring. The modules (2) are assembled with one another, being successively spaced apart in pairs, a space (E1) being created between two adjacent modules (2). At least one of the spaces (E1) receives at least one conductive heat-transfer element (7) extending between respective walls of at least two adjacent the modules (2) which are oriented facing one another.
