Toolless slot fastener
An improved slot fastener is provided, which may be toollessly installed, adjusted or repositioned, and uninstalled. The slot fastener includes a body having a surface, a head extending from the surface of the body, and a pair of clips, each clip being disposed at opposing lateral sides of the head. Each clip includes a flange that project laterally outward from the opposing lateral sides of the head, and a handle that projects outwardly from opposing lateral sides of the body. The clips are adapted to pivot laterally relative to the head in response to movement of the handle to alternate the slot fastener between an engaged configuration and a disengaged configuration. Methods of installing the slot into a channel of a component and adjusting the slot fastener along the channel, and an assembly including the slot fastener installed within the channel of the component, are also provided.
Hose clamp apparatus
A hose clamp apparatus that is configured to provide operable coupling with a second hose clamp apparatus so as to maintain an adjacent position with each other on a hose. The hose clamp apparatus of the present invention includes a band member operably coupled to an adjustment mechanism disposed within a housing. The housing includes a first side and a second side. Mounted to the first side of the housing is a first keeper. Secured to the second side of the housing is a second keeper. The first keeper and second keeper are configured to be mateably coupled so as to operably couple a first hose clamp apparatus with a second hose clamp apparatus. The first keeper and second keeper each have a first portion that extends outward from the housing. Engagement members are located at opposing ends of the housing and are operably coupled to the adjustment mechanism.
Ventilation member
A ventilation member of the present disclosure comprises: a support having a through hole that serves as an air passage between inside and outside of a housing upon attaching the support to an opening of the housing; and an air-permeable membrane disposed on the support and closing the through hole. The support comprises: a supporting portion in which the through hole is provided and at which the air-permeable membrane is disposed, and an insertion portion extending from the supporting portion and having an end with a hook, wherein the insertion portion bends in a direction closer to a central axis of the ventilation member while the hook is passing through the opening by being inserted into the opening, and fixes the ventilation member to the opening with the hook engaging the housing after passing through the opening. The ventilation member has a stopper portion with which bending of the insertion portion in the direction is restricted within an elastically deformable range of the insertion portion during the insertion into the opening. A ventilation member of the present disclosure can be reliably fixed to an opening of a housing with the insertion portion, even when the insertion portion is inserted into the opening at an angle.
