Easy release backboard strap clip
An Easy Release Backboard Strap Clip is a stab lock type of clip mounted to a swivel. The clip may be squeezed to open the pads of the clip. The clip is utilized in a backboard in conjunction with backboard straps to retain, secure and restrain a patient being transferred into and out of an emergency medical vehicle. The clip provides an easy means of opening and closing the clip.
Inverted fit hanger
A garment hanger has a body for supporting a garment and an attachment mechanism for coupling the garment hanger to a garment rod. The attachment mechanism is mounted on a top central portion of the body and has a first semi-circular ring member, a second semi-circular ring member, a bracket, and a spring means. Each semi-circular ring member has a first end and a central aperture in proximity to a second end. The bracket has a central horizontal portion and two vertical portions on opposite sides of the central horizontal portion. The first and second semi-circular ring members are mounted in a mirrored direction between the two vertical portions by a shaft passing through a central aperture in each of the two semi-circular ring members. The spring means is coupled to force the first ends of the two semi-circular ring members towards each other.
Inverted fit hanger
Hanger designed with a built in apparatus which allows it to be placed on a rod from bottom side of rod. Enabling this feature is an apparatus built in the top section of hanger frame. Apparatus built with two rotating semi-circulars, forming a circle when closed, appears like a disc. When hanger is pushed upward against rod, semi-circulars will open and reclose on rod, keeping hanger suspended, allowing it to glide. The instant apparatus will allow hanger to be suspended very close to rod, and will eliminate the old fashion open end hook of prior art.
Locking Carabiner
A climbing instrument that comprises a first ring, a second ring that is larger than and engaged with the first ring. The second ring may comprise a gate that traverses a portion of the second ring and a rotatable cylinder that is positioned opposite the first ring and integrated within the second ring. The climbing instrument may also comprise a plurality of curved protrusions connected to and extending out and away from at least one of the first ring and the second ring.
OPEN LOOP CONNECTOR
An open loop connector 10 (to enlarged scale) having a leading end 11 and a trailing end 12 joined by a loop body part 13. A hook point portion 18 includes a sharp point 19 with an inward curve 20 so that with a downward stroke the point 19, which is projecting out from the loop, catches sheet material and its curve gives it reentrant function through the sheet. The trailing end 12 has an enlargement 21 which has a narrow slot 22. The hook point portion 18 faces the slot 22. The hook point portion 18 has an enlargement attachment as narrow outwardly facing relieved sections 23 and 24 matched to the slot 22 so that this narrow section may pass closely through the slot 22. The enlargement has an undercut 25 providing a shoulder 26 so that the hook portion may manually be extended to align the narrow relieved sections with the slot, the narrow section 23, 24 may then be pushed through the slot 22 and released back into the slot 22, the shoulder region 26 locks under shoulder 25 thereby closing the loop. The reverse process unlocks and opens the loop. By reason of the configuration of the hook, the curve of the loop and the slot 22, the back of the recesses 23 and 24 at 27 is inclined to the curved line of the loop. This aids entry into slot 22.
Modular clipping system
A clipping apparatus is disclosed. The clipping apparatus connects on the Z-axis but can be activated for release on either the X or Y-axis. The system also has a self-locking mechanism on the handle to create a secure connection along the Z-axis. It is includes a first member that includes a first cavity and a first handle and a second member that includes a second cavity and a second handle. The first member and second member are mated to a spring connection mechanism and a base plate, thereby forming an opening. When the first handle and the second handle are pushed inwards, a male fitting is accepted into the opening and locked into the opening when the first handle and the second handle are released.

Ligature attachment device
A ligature attachment device for use with a ligature is disclosed, the ligature attachment device comprising a proximal section comprising a loop retainer section, a distal section comprising a tool section, a central section comprising a central ligature spool section having a centrally located cinch aperture and the central ligature spool section is coupled to the loop retainer section and the tool section. The loop retainer section having a loop retainer profile configured to retain a loop of the ligature frictionally engaged with the central ligature spool section. The cinch aperture having an aperture shape configured to allow at least two sections of a ligature to be removably retained in the cinch aperture whereby the cinch aperture can removably retain the loop of the ligature. The tool section comprises a first tool for removably joining a second tool.
