RESIN COVER AND VEHICLE SEAT HAVING RESIN COVER
Provided is a resin cover for covering a surface of a structure by being inserted and secured together with a metallic clip into a hole portion formed in the structure, the resin cover is formed with a clip squeezing portion for mounting the metallic clip, the clip squeezing portion is formed with a flexure control rib, and the flexure control rib is formed to restrict the defamation amount of a claw portion formed on the metallic clip to prevent the metallic clip from being pulled back from the hole portion formed in the structure when the metallic clip is urged to be pulled back from the hole portion formed in the structure in the state that the metallic clip mounted on the clip squeezing portion is inserted into the hole portion formed in the structure.
CABLE RESTRAINT AND METHOD OF SECURING A CABLE
A cable restraint has: a first arm, having a first proximal end, a first distal end, and a first gripping portion located at the first distal end; a second arm, having a second proximal end, a second distal end and a second gripping portion located at the second distal end; wherein: the first proximal end is joined to the second proximal end, and the cable restraint is movable between: an open configuration in which the first gripping portion and the second gripping portion are spaced from each other to define a gap into which a cable may be inserted, and a closed configuration in which the first gripping port and the second gripping portion cooperate with each other to define a cable restraint channel
Fastening system
The invention relates to a device for holding a head of a pin of a component, said device having a receiving space which defines an opening via which the head of the pin can be inserted; a spring element disposed in the receiving space; and a path limiter which is disposed in the receiving space. The spring element has a receptacle for the head of the pin of the component, and the straight line which connects the geometric center point of the opening to the geometric center point of the receptacle forms a reference line. A curved or bent receiving section of a spring arm of the spring element is provided as part of the receptacle. The receiving section has at least one distance point which is arranged furthest from the reference line than other points along the extension of the curved or bent receiving section.
Spacer clip for use in a wall assembly
A spacer clip comprised of a low thermal conductive material is secured to the Z girts of a wall assembly to provide a thermal break between the Z girts and the sheathing members of the wall assembly and to also provide a thermal break between the sheathing members and the insulation members of the wall assembly.
Dual material U-base fastener
A u-shaped metal portion and a u-shaped plastic portion can be coupled together to define an interior rib receiving cavity between both the metal sides and the plastic sides. The u-shaped metal portion can include a first metal rib retention barb extending interiorly of the plastic portion in the interior rib receiving cavity and can be designed to engage the rib to couple the dual material U-base fastener to a first component rib with the rib received within the interior rib receiving cavity. The u-shaped plastic portion can include a first plastic aperture retention wing extending exteriorly of the metal portion and designed to engage a second component aperture to couple the dual material U-base fastener to the aperture with the inner plastic and outer metal insertion ends extending through the aperture.
Clamping element, method for assembling a clamping element, method for clamping a clamping element and system of an element and a clamping element
Disclosed is a clamping element to clamp to a portion of an element. The clamping element has a housing with a receiving space, the housing having an opening that connects the outside of the housing with the receiving space, a clip arranged inside the housing, the clip having a first leg and a second leg arranged opposite each other, a bridge connecting the first leg and the second leg, the receiving space at least partially being arranged between the first leg and the second leg, wherein a force needs to be applied to move the first leg away from the second leg and in a pre-assembly state of the clip, which describes the position that the elements of the clip have prior to the portion of the element that is to be clamped having been introduced into the receiving space.
ERGONOMIC FASTENING CLIP
A fastening clip for mounting a component part, such as an airbag, to a support structure, includes: a body portion, extending between an upper end region and a lower end region along a longitudinal axis, including at least one elastically deflectable retaining member, projecting laterally from the lower end region of the body portion, so as to fixingly engage when inserted into an orifice of the support structure; a head portion, provided at the upper end region of the body portion, including a rectangularly shaped plate member, having a flat upper surface extending in a transverse plane relative to the longitudinal axis, and two opposing resilient spring members extending transversely away from opposing first and second edges of the plate member and folded towards the lower end region of the body portion.
Adapter clip
An adapter clip includes a first portion configured to fit within an engine clip or an engine clamp, a second portion including an annular portion, the annular portion being configured to fit around an engine component, and a web portion connected to the annular portion and the first portion. A diameter of the first portion differs from a diameter of the annular portion.
Ceiling systems
A ceiling system in one embodiment includes an overhead support grid comprised of a plurality of intersecting grid support members and a ceiling tile mountable to the grid. Retaining clips support the ceiling tile from the grid which may be concealed from view. The retaining clips each include a cavity that receives a grid support member and a pair of resilient mounting elements configured to lockingly engage a support member. The mounting elements are laterally movable in response to inserting the support member into the cavity of the retaining clip. In one embodiment, the movable elements include locking tabs which create a snap-fit interlock with the grid support member for securing the ceiling tile to the grid.
INSULATION RETAINER CLIP
A clip is provided for use in retaining insulation in place during the construction of a wall. The clip of this invention is designed so as to be secured to a Z girt and so as to extend over the lower end of an insulation sheet thereabove.
