A radial extension of the entire power unit is sized to be radially inward of a peripheral section of a brake rotor. An entirety of the power unit, excluding a mount part thereof to a hub flange, is sized to be situated in an axial range between the hub flange and a mount surface, on an inboard side of the wheel support bearing. The rotor includes an outer shell magnetic body, which is made from soft magnetic material and forms an outer shell of the power unit, and permanent magnets that are provided to the outer shell magnetic body.
BEARING CAP HAVING SENSOR UNIT, AND ROLLING BEARING UNIT
A holder support part, into which a holder main body part constituting a sensor holder is fitted, is provided to an upper position of two vertically adjacent positions of an axially inboard-side surface of a bottom plate part so as to project. A nut holding part, which holds a nut, into which is threaded a bolt for joining a sensor holder, is provided to a lower position of the two vertically adjacent positions. The holder support part and the nut holding part are apart from each other. The holder support part is configured as a notched cylinder shape having a discontinuous part at a lower part. An upper surface of the nut holding part is configured as a convex curved surface of which a part facing the discontinuous part is positioned at the uppermost part.
SENSOR CAP EXCHANGE TOOL DEVICE
A sensor cap exchange tool device may include a support bolt; a support bracket that is fixed to a front end portion of the support bolt; a mover that has a second screw thread that is engaged with the first screw thread at of the support bracket; a tool guide that is rotatably engaged with the mover and that moves in the predetermined direction together with the mover according to a rotation of the mover and that has a tool insertion opening open in the predetermined direction; and a separation device and mounting device that are mounted in the tool guide and that moves with the tool guide according to a rotation of the mover and that comes in close contact with the sensor cap that is mounted in the wheel bearing assembly.
SEALING ARRANGEMENT FOR A WHEEL BEARING
A sealing arrangement for a wheel bearing having a first bearing part and a second bearing part integrally connected to a wheel bearing flange, and rolling bodies being guided between said bearing parts, includes a carrier element and a stop part. The carrier element is connected to the first bearing part, an elastic element is provided on the carrier element, and the carrier element has a fastening section connected to the first bearing part. The elastic element has a sealing lip. The stop part is fastened to the second bearing part and in sliding contact with the sealing lip. The wheel bearing flange has an axial projection provided such that the projection protrudes in the direction of a cavity formed by an axial projection of the first bearing part. An inner surface of the axial projection of the wheel bearing flange forms a seat for the stop part.
Spline connection
A spline connection having a hub with a toothing profile on the inner circumference, an axle journal having a toothing profile on an outer circumferential portion, a shoulder for axial support and/or abutment against the hub, and a tensioning device for axially bracing the axle journal with the hub. The hub has a constant toothing profile and the axle journal has a first portion and a second portion with different toothing profiles. The first portion is arranged on the insertion side to be further away from the shoulder than the second portion and has a constant toothing profile with play with respect to the toothing profile of the hub. The second portion is arranged on the shoulder side and has a toothing profile which has reduced tooth spaces compared with the first portion and which is play-free with respect to the toothing profile of the hub.
WHEEL STRUCTURE INCLUDING HUB BEARING AND VEHICLE INCLUDING THE SAME
A wheel structure includes: a wheel; a rotary part disposed inside the wheel and configured to rotate together with the wheel; a fixing part facing the rotary part; a hub bearing disposed at one side of the rotary part and the fixing part; and a resolver facing the hub bearing and configured to detect a position of the hub bearing. The hub bearing includes: a hub body fixedly coupled to the rotary part; and a hub outer race fixedly coupled to the fixing part. The resolver includes: a resolver rotor; and a resolver stator. The resolver rotor is fixedly coupled to the hub body.
Sealing device for a bearing unit
A sealing device for a bearing unit, the device having a stationary part provided with: a first metal shield, an elastomer coating, co-molded on the first shield, at least one contacting lip, radially internal, belonging to the elastomer coating. The sealing device having a rotatable part provided with a second metal shield on which the contacting lip makes a sliding contact. The second metal shield is provided with a plurality of flow baffles positioned at least on an axially exposed surface of the shield, shaped as recesses realized through the axially exposed surface and distributed along a radially outer peripheral edge of the shield.
