SLIDING MEMBER
The present invention provides a sliding member which enables further reduction of friction and improvement of seizure resistance without deteriorating wear resistance of a sliding surface. The sliding member includes a porous metal base material, and a resin material with which the porous metal base material is impregnated. The sliding member includes an exposed sliding surface. The sliding surface includes a top surface made of the resin material, and a bottom surface made of the porous metal base material. A height from the bottom surface to the top surface is 10 to 30 μm, and the resin material includes fluorine resin.
Sintered bearing and method for manufacturing sintered bearing
A sintered bearing is made of a sintered compact containing nickel silver (Cu—Ni—Zn) as a base. In the sintered bearing, P is not added in the sintered compact. Alternatively, a content of P in the sintered compact is less than 0.05 mass % in terms of mass ratio to a total mass. Consequently, crystal grains constituting the sintered compact can be micronized. In particular, in the sintered bearing, an average crystal particle diameter of the crystal grains constituting the sintered compact is 20 μm or less. Consequently, the mechanical strength and the vibration resisting properties can be improved, and the rotation shaft can be prevented from being damaged.
SINTERED BEARING AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SINTERED BEARING
A sintered bearing 1 is formed by sintering a raw material powder containing aluminum fluoride. The sintered bearing 1 has a structure obtained by sintering an aluminum-copper alloy and contains 3 to 13 mass % aluminum and 0.05 to 0.6 mass % phosphorus, copper as a main component of the remainder, and inevitable impurities. The sintered bearing 1 is manufactured by performing sintering in a closed space 23, and by, under the assumption that all aluminum fluoride contained in the raw material powder is gasified in the closed space 23, controlling the concentration of the aluminum fluoride gas to be 5 ppm or more, thus performing the sintering.
Linear motion guide unit
A linear motion guide unit includes a rail, a slider slidable relative to the rail, and rolling elements rollable in a rolling groove formed with the rail and the slider. The slider has a lubricating oil supply device provided at least at one end face thereof. The lubricating oil supply device includes a lubricating member that retains lubricating oil and abuts against a raceway surface of the rail to supply the lubricating oil to the rail, a housing having front, rear, and bottom surfaces covering front, rear, and bottom surfaces of the lubricating member, with an upper surface of the housing being left open, and a cover that covers at least an upper surface of the lubricating member. The housing is fixed to the slider with a first fixing member. The cover is fixed to the housing with a second fixing member, without being fixed with the first fixing member.
Porous gas bearing
A porous gas bearing is disclosed. The porous gas bearing includes a housing having a fluid inlet and an aperture. A porous surface layer is disposed within the housing surrounding the aperture in a circumferential direction. The porous surface layer is in fluid communication with the fluid inlet. A damping system includes a damping system including a biasing member, the biasing member being disposed in a passageway that extends along the longitudinal direction of the aperture and circumferentially about the aperture, wherein the biasing member is arranged radially outward from the porous surface layer.
STEAM LEAKAGE COMPACT BEARING
The invention relates to a shaft bearing having a seal arrangement to prevent steam leakages that can occur in the event of temperature fluctuations or pressure fluctuations between a liquid medium on the one side and a gaseous medium on the other side of the compact bearing, wherein, between a primary radial seal and a rotation bearing portion, a lubrication space surrounding a shaft circumference is arranged that receives a volume of lubricating grease that has a higher viscosity than a lubricating oil and a coolant; and a volume compensator for compensating a temperature-dependent volume fluctuation is provided that comprises a compressible material, and is arranged vertically in interaction with the volume of the lubricating oil and/or the volume of the lubricating grease.
