Brake disc for railway vehicle

A brake disc for a railway vehicle includes: a disc plate portion that has a sliding portion of a front face; a plurality of radial fins that are provided on the rear face of a disc plate portion, and that have a shape that extends in the radial direction of the disc plate portion; and a circumferential rib that is provided between each pair of adjacent radial fins, and that has a shape that extends in the circumferential direction of the disc plate portion. A flow path for air is formed between the pair of radial fins, and the flow path for air is narrowed by the circumferential rib. On the circumferential rib, a gradual slope for suppressing fluctuations in an airflow that passes between the pair of radial fins is provided from a base part to a top part.

The disclosure relates to a torque transmission assembly for a bicycle. The torque transmission assembly includes an adapter device and a driving body that is rigidly connectable to the adapter device in a torque transmitting manner. The adapter device has three support arms that extend with a radial direction component, and the driving body has a corresponding number of support cutouts. The support arms are received in the support cutouts forming a press fit. The torque transmission assembly is characterized in that the press fit of the support arms and support cutouts has two fitting planes, which are parallel to one another and to an imaginary plane containing the axis of rotation of the assembly. There is a clearance between the support arm and support cutout along the radial direction component.

Braking band of a disk for a disk brake of the ventilated type

A braking band of a disk brake disk has a first plate and a second plate arranged joined to each other by connecting elements. The first and second plates have first and second plate outer surfaces, opposite portions of the first and second outer surfaces forming opposite braking surfaces. The braking band has a plurality of attachment portions for connecting the braking band to a vehicle hub or a bell. Each attachment portion has a connection seat. The attachment portions are spaced by recesses. Each attachment portion has an attachment portion wall having opposite side wall portions, two bottom wall portions and an inner end wall portion, and opposite first and second attachment portion surfaces. Each recess extends radially beyond the connection seat. Each side wall portion is joined to the adjoining bottom wall portion by a cylindrical bottom arch avoiding edges. Each side wall portion is joined to the adjoining inner end wall portion by a cylindrical end arch avoiding edges. Each first attachment portion surface is coplanar to the first braking surface except for the wear of the first braking surface.

A method of manufacturing a disc brake rotor comprises preparing at least one elongated plate having a first end and a second end opposite to the first end in a longitudinal direction of the at least one elongated plate. The method comprises bending the at least one elongated plate in an arc shape.

BRAKE DISC COMPRISING A FRICTION RING AND A HUB PRODUCED AS A SEPARATE ELEMENT AND ARRANGED INSIDE OF THE FRICTION RING

A brake disc having a friction ring and a hub produced as a separate element and arranged inside the friction ring according. Recesses are configured in the friction ring on the inside to connect the hub to the friction ring and corresponding projections are formed on the hub, which projections engage in the recesses of the friction ring in order to be able to transfer torque from the friction ring to the hub. The recesses have an undercut at least partially in a radial direction, as viewed looking inward from the outside. The disc is simple and cost-effective to manufacture and has an acoustically advantageous operating performance, in particular in the case of thermal expansion.

A brake disc assembly may have a brake band, a bell, and at least one connecting device, which forms a connection between the brake band and the bell. The connecting device and the bell cooperate by delimiting at least one axial band seat where the brake band may slide in an axial direction of a predetermined axial stroke. The bell may have at least a first end-of-stroke surface which forms a first abutment surface in the axial direction for the brake band. The connecting device may have a second end-of-stroke surface, opposite to said first end-of-stroke surface, which forms a second opposite abutment surface in the axial direction for the brake band.
