Disc Brake for a Utility Vehicle
A disc brake for a utility vehicle is provided. The brake caliper of the disk brake is configured to be mounted in an axially-displaceable manner on a stationary brake carrier by two fastening elements. The two fastening elements are plain bearings arranged in respective bores of the brake caliper, one as a locating bearing and the other as a floating bearing. The floating bearing includes a sliding bush made from a plastic, in particular an elastomer, and a guide rod configured to be connected to the brake carrier is mounted. The sliding bush is held on the guide rod secured against axial displacement between the guide rod and the inner wall of the respective brake caliper bore. The sliding bush is configured to carry a lubricant on its circumferentially outer surface and has sealing lips projects radially outward that bear against the inner wall of the respective bore.
PHENOL RESIN COMPOSITION FOR FRICTION MATERIAL
Provided is a phenol resin composition for a friction material, including a component (A) of a silicone resin having a softening point of 140° C. or lower and a component (B) of a phenol resin.
Torque Transmitting Elements for Coupling
A coupling assembly for transmitting rotational forces from a driving shaft to a driven shaft, the driving and driven shafts having teeth. The coupling assembly includes a first and a second flange, each flange configured to be rotationally fixed onto respective shafts. A pair of resilient shoes are disposed between the flanges. The shoes are configured to be attached to the coupling assembly by a first plurality of fasteners that are fixed to the first flange and extend through the shoes to connect the shoes to the first flange and a second plurality of fasteners are fixed to the second flange and extend through the shoes to connect the shoes to the second flange.
Robot cleaner having a fan brake device
A robot cleaner having a fan brake device is provided, which includes a main cleaner body having an accommodating slot used to contain a dust box and a fan, and at least one brake device is disposed inside the accommodating slot. The brake device is disposed at a notch on the bottom of the dust box for the fan to be inserted into, and under the junction line between the notch and the bottom edge of the dust box. Therefore, when the dust box is taken off from the main cleaner body, the flexible element of the brake device can press a soft stopper upward and then the soft stopper presses against the bottom of the fan blade of the fan to stop the fan.
SHIM FOR DISK BRAKES, AND DISK BRAKE
A novel disc brake shim and a disc brake that can effectively suppress vibration and squeal are provided. The disc brake shim that is formed of a multilayer structure with three layers or more including at least a base material layer formed of a metal sheet, and a foamed rubber layer that is laminated on a main surface on one side of the base material layer, wherein the foamed rubber layer is an intermediate layer of the multilayer structure, and the disc brake including pad materials on both sides in an axial direction of a disc rotor, and shims on opposite sides from the disc rotor, of the pad materials adjacently, wherein each of the shims is the disc brake shim according to the present invention.
Torque transmission joint and electric power steering device
The torque transmission joint includes an intermediate transmission member, and a first transmission member and a second transmission member that are arranged with one each on both side sections in the axial direction of the intermediate transmission member, with the outer side sections in the radial direction of each engaging with the inside section in the radial direction of the intermediate transmission member. The first transmission member and the second transmission member have a first preliminary engagement section and a second preliminary engagement section at the end sections in the axial direction on sides close to each other. The first preliminary engagement section and the second preliminary engagement section engage with each other with a circumferential gap interposed therebetween that does not disappear when torque transmission is performed between the first transmission member and the second transmission member via the intermediate transmission member.
Electromagnetic clutch
An armature is configured to come into contact with an actuator due to magnetic attraction force. An outer plate is fixed to an armature, the outer plate being located on an opposite side of the armature from the actuator, the outer plate being configured to rotate together with the armature. An inner hub is located between the armature and the outer plate to be movable in a direction along a rotation axis, the inner hub being fixed to a driven device. A rubber member is disposed between the inner hub and the outer plate to give an urging force to the inner hub and the outer plate in a direction away from each other. This electromagnetic clutch is configured such that the urging force of the rubber member non-linearly increases as the actuator and the armature approach each other due to the magnetic attraction force.
Phenol resin for wet friction material, phenol resin composition, and wet friction material
A phenol resin for a wet friction material of the invention contains a resol-type phenol resin having, in one molecule, a structural unit A which is derived from a phenol compound having one phenolic hydroxyl group and a structural unit B which is derived from a polyfunctional phenol compound having two phenolic hydroxyl groups.
COATED DRIVER AND METHOD OF FORMING
A driver for coupling a driving device and a driven device includes a core defining a plurality of corner chamfers and a casing formed on and encasing the core. The casing has a contoured perimeter surface and a variable casing thickness, and is compressible during an interference fit installation to a coupling socket to provide a non-lubricated coupling which has zero backlash and substantially no running noise. The core is made of a metal-based material and includes a shaft bore for receiving an input shaft. In an illustrative example, the driver core is made of a stainless steel core and the casing is made of a high wear thermoset urethane material. The metal core can be recycled from the coated driver by removal of the polymeric casing, then recoated with a new casing to form a new coated driver including the recycled metal core.
Shaft coupling
A shaft coupling includes a drive hub that is coupled to a drive shaft to rotate integrally with the drive shaft, a driven hub that is coupled to a driven shaft to rotate integrally with the driven shaft, and a rotation transmission portion that transmits rotation between the drive hub and the driven hub. A dynamic vibration absorber is integrally coupled to a section of at least one of the drive hub and the driven hub. The section is an uninvolved section that is not involved in a torsional stiffness of the whole shaft coupling.
