Easy adjust tensioner assembly
11578787 · 2023-02-14 · ·

A tensioning bar assembly for a tensioning assembly of a drive system of an agricultural machine includes a longitudinal bar having a top end, a bottom end, and a threaded portion. An attachment device is coupled to the top end to attach to a tensioning arm. A compression spring is located around a portion of the longitudinal bar. A first spring retainer engages with and retains a first end of the spring. A first locking nut fits to the threaded portion of the bar and retains the first spring retainer longitudinally in place relative to the bar. The longitudinal bar is rotationally freely coupled to the attachment device to permit free axial rotation of the bar about its longitudinal axis relative to the attachment device, and an engagement head is attached to and located at or proximate the bottom end of the longitudinal bar for engagement with a tool.

Tensioner

To provide a tensioner capable of preventing slipping between a rack portion and ratchet pawls and securing a large backlash with a simple structure. The tensioner includes a ratchet rotatably mounted on a housing and having a front pawl and a rear pawl spaced apart in a front and rear direction on a side face positioned opposite the rack portion. The ratchet includes an additional pawl formed between the front pawl and the rear pawl in the front and rear direction on the side face positioned opposite the rack portion.

SERPENTINE BELT TENSIONER COMPRESSOR TOOL

A spring compressor tool is provided. A tool for compressing an inline spring-loaded serpentine belt tensioner used in motive power systems, comprising a frame affixed with a fastening pin, the fastening pin optionally inserted into a hollow axle of the inline spring-loaded serpentine belt tensioner. A threaded stud affixed to an end of the frame, the threaded stud optionally coupled to a yoke providing lateral movement of the yoke along the threaded stud. A threaded fastener optionally coupled to the threaded stud and the yoke restricting movement of the yoke, the yoke optionally coupled to an end of the inline spring-loaded serpentine belt tensioner opposite the fastening pin. A lip attached to the yoke, the lip grasping the end of the inline spring-loaded serpentine belt tensioner, movement of the yoke along the threaded stud controls extension and contraction of the inline spring-loaded serpentine belt tensioner.

Tensioning systems and methods

In an embodiment, a tensioning apparatus includes a housing and a fastener extending at least partially through the housing. The apparatus also includes a trolley adjustably positioned within the housing about the fastener. The apparatus also includes a pulley disposed outside the housing and coupled to the trolley, where the pulley moves in unison with the trolley along an opening in the housing.

Pickup drive system for an agricultural baler

A pickup unit of an agricultural baler that includes a reel with a plurality of tines configured for lifting a crop material from a field, the reel is rotatable in an operating direction and a reverse direction, and a drive system configured for driving the reel. The drive system includes a gearbox configured for receiving motive power from a power take off (PTO) shaft, a drive shaft operably connected to the gearbox, and a first clutch connected to the drive shaft. The first clutch is configured for operably disconnecting motive power to the reel so that the reel is manually rotatable as the PTO shaft remains operably engaged with the gearbox.

Drive belt tensioner systems and methods

Embodiments of the present disclosure include a drive belt tensioner configured to adjust tension in a drive belt of a blower assembly for a heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) system. The drive belt tensioner includes a mounting bracket configured to couple directly to a blower housing that is configured to house a blower of the blower assembly. The drive belt tensioner further includes an idler pulley configured to contact the drive belt. A position of the idler pulley is adjustable relative to the mounting bracket to enable adjustment of the tension in the drive belt.

Variable force tensioner arm with cap disk spring
11486473 · 2022-11-01 · ·

A stack of disk springs are placed between a second piston of a dual hydraulic variable force tensioner system and a hydraulic tensioner arm to allow much higher spring rates if desired. The springs may be stacked in multiple configurations to provide different spring rates. Package space can be reduced depending on the number of springs and orientations of said springs within the tensioner arm.

PRESS-FIT-INTERLOCKING CONNECTION AND BELT TENSIONER HAVING SUCH A CONNECTION

A press-fit-interlocking connection of an inner part to an outer part which is fastened to the inner part includes a cylindrical press joint (3) between the outer part and the inner part. The interlocking connection is formed by an axial stop having contacting stop parts (18, 19) on the inner part and on the outer part. The connection has an edge support in contact with the stop parts which contact one another, in a first main plane of curvature (E.sub.1) to which the cylinder axis of the press joint is perpendicular, with equal radii of curvature (r.sub.a1, r.sub.a2), and in a second main plane of curvature (E.sub.2) in which the cylinder axis of the press joint lies, with different radii of curvature (r.sub.a2, r.sub.i2).

DRIVE BELT TENSIONER FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLE
20220325783 · 2022-10-13 ·

An electric vehicle comprises a drive belt mounted about a motor output and about a drive wheel. The drive belt is driven by an output torque and experiences the output torque in a first torque direction and in a second torque direction. A belt tensioner comprises a tension pulley in contact with the drive belt, and a tensioning mechanism configured to displace the tension pulley in a first direction against the drive belt to tension the drive belt upon the drive belt experiencing the output torque in the first torque direction. The tensioning mechanism is configured to allow tension in the drive belt to displace the tension pulley in a second direction opposite to the first direction upon the drive belt experiencing the output torque in the second torque direction.
