Systems and methods for removing modules from an information handling system
An information handling system may include a chassis, a bay within the chassis for receiving a modular information handling resource, and a pulley assembly within the chassis and adjacent to the bay, the pulley assembly comprising a handle mechanically rotatable between a closed position and an open position, a pulley subsystem comprising a pulley cable mechanically coupled to the handle, and a carrier mechanically coupled to the pulley subsystem and configured such that the modular information handling resource rests on the carrier when the modular information handling resource is installed in the information handling system. The pulley assembly may be arranged such that force applied to the handle when the handle is in the open position provides a mechanical advantage via the pulley subsystem to mechanically translate the carrier in accordance with the force and the mechanical advantage to cause at least partial removal of the modular information handling resource from the bay in response to the force.
SELF-REELING BELT DRIVE
The present disclosure involves a belt drive mechanism which can be used to pay out or draw belt to or from a belt actuated system (or belt driven system). The mechanism features a self-winding spool which can automatically wind or unwind portions of the belt as they are withdrawn from, or fed to the belt actuated system. A second rotational axle (idler shaft), with one or more sheaves (e.g., pulley's or rollers) can be rotationally coupled to a capstan via a belt, and can be utilized to drive additional mechanisms in the belt drive mechanism, such as a winding mechanism.
LOW-PROFILE DRIVE MECHANISM
A drive mechanism includes a mount block extending along an axis and a plurality of electric motors supported by the mount block. The electric motors are arranged in series along the axis to define an initial electric motor, one or more intermediate electric motors, and a final electric motor. The drive mechanism also includes a gear mounted to each of the electric motors, and an output member driven by the gear mounted to the final electric motor to receive the combined rotational torque from the gears of the series of electric motors.
BELT TERMINATION AND TENSIONING IN A PULLEY ARRANGEMENT FOR A ROBOTIC ARM
In one variation, a pulley arrangement includes a base pulley portion rotatable within a driving plane, an adjustable pulley portion coupled to the base pulley portion wherein the adjustable pulley portion is rotatable relative to the base pulley portion within the driving plane, and a driving member including an end coupled to the adjustable pulley portion wherein at least a portion of the driving member is wrapped at least partially around the adjustable pulley portion. Sprocket drive mechanism of massage device
A sprocket transmission mechanism of a massage device contains: a driven box, a pair of hollow holders, and two bendable chains. The driven box is driven by two drive shafts of a motor beside the driven box. The pair of hollow holders are rotatably connected with the two drive shafts respectively and have two grooves, and the pair of hollow holders are connected inside two inner sides of a chair or a bed respectively. The two bendable chains are accommodated in the two grooves individually. The two drive shafts have four sprockets fitted on two sides thereof individually, and two driven sprockets are rotatably connected between the two sides of the two shafts respectively, such that the two bendable chains are inserted into the pair of hollow holders to mesh with and to drive the four sprockets and the two driven sprockets to rotate individually.

In another variation, a pulley arrangement includes a base pulley portion rotatable around an axis, an adjustable pulley portion coupled to the base pulley portion and movable in a first direction parallel to the axis, and a sliding block engaged with the adjustable pulley portion, wherein the sliding block moves in a second direction different from the first direction, in response to compression of the adjustable pulley portion against the base pulley portion.
Actuation and valve mechanism
An arrangement for controlling and measuring flow. The arrangement includes a fluid control barrier and a flow-measuring apparatus upstream of the fluid control barrier. The fluid control barrier includes a pair of plates for opening and closing a pipe, and the plates are movable towards a center line of the pipe to open the pipe and produce a symmetrical flow profile for the flow-measuring apparatus.
BELT TRANSMISSION MECHANISM WITH IMPROVED RIGIDITY
A belt transmission mechanism with improved rigidity comprises a pedestal, a sliding base, a driving unit, a positioning belt, and a transmission belt. The sliding base is disposed on the pedestal, and reciprocatively moves along a linear direction. The driving unit is disposed on the sliding base. The positioning belt and the transmission belt are disposed on the pedestal and comprise a gear rack, respectively. A detouring section of the transmission belt is separated from the positioning belt, and transmissibly meshed with the driving wheel of the driving unit. When the driving wheel rotates, the detouring section is driven to continuously shift on the transmission belt, and the sliding base is simultaneously driven to slide on the pedestal along the linear direction. Thus, a combination of the positioning belt and the transmission belt achieves an improved rigidity.
