Adjustment drive for a steering column, drive unit for an adjustment drive, motor-adjustable steering column for a motor vehicle, and method for producing an adjustment drive for a steering column
An adjustment drive for a motor-adjustable steering column for a motor vehicle includes a drive unit having a transmission in which there is mounted a drive wheel. The drive wheel can be driven to rotate about a drive axis and is in operative engagement with a transmission wheel which is mounted in the transmission so as to be rotatable about a transmission axis. The transmission has a drive module, which includes the drive wheel, and a transmission module, which includes the transmission wheel. The drive module and the transmission are connected to one another by a joining connection.
Method of raising or lowering a landing gear
A torque load binder for changing tension in a chain or strap securing a load to a vehicle or support surface. The load binder includes a housing with an internal gear mechanism and a connector mechanism operatively engaged with the gear mechanism and extending outwardly from the housing. A high speed first driveshaft and a lower speed second driveshaft on the load binder are selectively individually actuated to effect movement between first and second end linkages of the connector mechanism. The first driveshaft effects movement between the first and second end linkages at a first speed and the second driveshaft effects movement between the end linkages at a lower second speed. Rotation of either of the first or second driveshafts actuates the connector mechanism, changing the distance between the first and second end linkages, and thereby changing the tension in the tie-down.
STEER-BY-WIRE STEERING APPARATUS
The present embodiments may provide a steer-by-wire steering apparatus which enables a driver to use a function for controlling an automobile, such as automatic parking, lane keeping, driving assistance according to a road surface condition, steering-vibration damping, or autonomous driving control, to improve the driver's convenience, and allows removal of hydraulic pressure-related components to prevent consumption of engine power by the components and thus can satisfy the high power and rigidity required for a steering device of a commercial vehicle.
Foldable rotor blade assembly and aerial vehicle with a foldable rotor blade assembly
An unmanned aerial vehicle includes a fuselage body, a foldable wing assembly and a gear assembly. The foldable wing assembly, including a pair of opposing wing members, is coupled to the fuselage body and positionable in a stowed position and a deployed position. The gear assembly positions the wing members in a stowed position and a deployed position and include a support bracket assembly and a pair of opposing hinge members. The support bracket assembly is coupled to the fuselage body and including first and second support brackets forming a cavity therebetween and a pair of opposing hinge members. The pair of opposing hinge members are pivotably coupled to the support bracket assembly and positioned within the cavity. Each hinge member is coupled to a corresponding wing member and includes a set of gear teeth extending outwardly from an arcuate radially outer surface and coupled in a meshed arrangement.
