Aircraft door sealing system and aircraft door arrangement
An aircraft door sealing system comprises a resilient sealing element secured to an aircraft door arrangement first element and comprising a sealing lip extending from a sealing member. A rigid counter-bearing element is secured to an aircraft door arrangement second element and cooperates with the sealing element to seal a gap between the first and second elements. The counter-bearing element comprises a first portion cooperating with the sealing member and a second portion cooperating with the sealing lip. The sealing lip and the second portion are positioned relative to each other, and the sealing lip can be resiliently deformed, so that the sealing lip is applied to the second portion and a contact face between the sealing lip and the second portion is formed or increases, when an external pressure acting on an outer face of the sealing lip via the gap, exceeds a threshold value.
Seal system
A seal device for sealing slide-out room opening in recreational vehicles. The seal including a base; a bulb; an alignment aid member; and a positional member. The base having a proximal end, a distal end, an inside portion, an outside portion, and a perpendicular member. The bulb having an arcuate portion, a sidewall portion and a curled end portion. The positional member extending perpendicularly to the base distal end in opposite direction of the alignment aid member. The seal device may further include a flap extending co-linearly from the base distal end and a fastening system.
Aircraft pylon comprising at least one seal interposed between a fixed structure and a removable panel of a fairing
An aircraft pylon comprising a structure covered by a fairing. The structure includes at least one void bounded by a peripheral edge. The fairing includes at least one removable panel connected to the structure around the void and having an inner face oriented towards the structure. The structure includes at least one seal connected to the structure so as to be slightly compressed against the inner face of the removable panel. The seal extends over at least a lower portion of the peripheral edge so as to retain a fluid located below a sealing horizontal plane while ensuring ventilation beneath the fairing.
Taper-Loc system improvements
An improved base shoe for use with panel installation removal systems. The improved base shoe includes dovetail grooves for use with a safety-seal and a weather seal, wherein the safety-seal and weather seal must be installed prior to installing a glass panel. The improved base shoe features a recess for use with taper plates having a continuous projection along an upper surface. The base shoe and taper plates are configured so as to provide a prying surface between the projection on the taper plates and a wall of the base shoe.
Sealer for mitigating leakage on a vehicle
Sealers and methods for making a sealer are provided. In one example, the sealer includes an exterior wall extending in a longitudinal direction and at least partially surrounding a first channel. A first plurality of interior walls are spaced apart from each other and are disposed in the first channel transverse to the longitudinal direction to subdivide the first channel into a first plurality of cells.
Sealing member for a powder slush molding apparatus
A sealing member for a powder slush molding apparatus includes an elastomeric main body comprising a head portion, an anchor portion, and a neck portion extending between and joining the head portion and the anchor portion. The head portion of the sealing member defines at least one interior channel that is centered on a midline of the elastomeric main body and which has a polygonal sectional shape. The polygonal sectional shape of the at least one interior channel, and its location on the midline, permits the head portion of the sealing member to attain a measure of compressibility that helps limit the force needed to compress the head portion without rendering the sealing member too flexible that it cannot adequately retain its shape. The sealing member is useful in establishing a seal between a shell and a powder box of a powder slush molding apparatus.
Magnetic fire seal for aircraft nacelle
A magnetic fire seal for a nacelle may comprise an exterior surface configured to form a sealing interface and an interior surface opposite the exterior surface. A fire-resistant material may be disposed between the exterior surface and the interior surface. A magnet may be located at the interior surface proximate the sealing interface. A portion of the fire-resistant material may be located between the magnet and the exterior surface.
Sealing structure and refrigerated container having same
A sealing structure and a refrigerated container having same. The sealing structure comprises a base, a protruding portion, a deforming portion, and connections through holes. The base is a bar having a predetermined thickness. The protruding portion and the deforming portion are on a sealing surface of the base, and are configured to protrude outwards relative to the sealing surface and extend lengthwise along the base. The deforming portion extends by the same length as but higher than the protruding portion. When the deforming portion is subjected to a force toward the sealing surface, the height decreases. The holes are between the protruding portion and the deforming portion along the base. The holes are spaced apart from each other in the lengthwise direction of the base. The performance of the sealing structure improves hermeticity of products, reduces quality risks, and ensures pressure-resistance installation and anti-weathering performance that extends service life.
STORAGE BOX SEAL STRUCTURE
A storage box seal structure includes a recess, a seal member provided in the recess, and a projection that comes into contact with the seal member for sealing, and has, at an opening, a centering structure for guiding opening and closing of a lid member. The centering structure includes a first rib and a second rib projecting from opposite edges of the recess, and a guide portion that guides at least one of the first rib and the second rib at opening and closing.
Waterproof device
A sealing device adapted for an object to be disposed through is provided. The sealing device includes a casing, a sealing elastic member, and a pressing member. The casing has an accommodating groove and a penetrating via communicated with the accommodating groove. The sealing elastic member is detachably disposed in the accommodating groove and has a through hole aligned with the penetrating via. The sealing elastic member is adapted to be compressed along an axis. The through hole has a first inner diameter before compression and a second inner diameter after compression. An outer dimension of the object is less than or equal to the first inner diameter and greater than the second inner diameter. The pressing member is detachably disposed at the casing and presses against the sealing elastic member, so that the compressed sealing elastic member is fixed in the accommodating groove.
