SOLENOID VALVE FOR A SLIP-CONTROLLED MOTOR-VEHICLE BRAKE SYSTEM

A solenoid valve has a valve plunger which is guided in a passage bore of a valve housing. The valve plunger with its valve closing element is held in a basic position by a restoring spring. The basic position opens up a valve passage in a valve seat. The valve plunger is arranged between an inlet and an outlet channel in the valve housing. A magnet armature provides actuation of the valve plunger. An inlet chamber is connected to the inlet channel between the passage bore and the valve seat. The valve plunger protrudes into the inlet chamber by way of a step section. As a result of being hydraulically impinged on by the pressure medium of the inlet channel an axial force is generated on the valve plunger that acts oppositely to the closing direction of the valve plunger.

A vehicle includes an engine, a fuel tank, a canister, a valve, and a damper. The canister is configured to receive and store evaporated fuel from the fuel tank. The valve is disposed between the canister and the engine. The valve is configured to open to deliver evaporated fuel from the canister to the engine. The valve is configured to close to inhibit delivering evaporated fuel from the canister to the engine. The damper is secured to valve. The damper is configured to dampen movement of the valve between open and closed positions.

ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY FOR AN ELECTROMAGNETICALLY ACTUATABLE VALVE

An actuator arrangement for an electromagnetically actuatable valve comprises a housing having a first wall, and a second wall situated opposite the first wall, a solenoid armature, with first and second axial armature end surfaces facing toward the first and second housing walls respectively, movable along an axis between a first position, where the first end surface makes contact with the first wall, and a second position, where the first end surface is away from the first wall. A damping element of an elastomer material extends from the second end surface toward the second wall and contacts the second wall in the first and second positions of the solenoid armature, A stop element of an elastomer material extends from the second end surface toward the second wall and, in the first position, is away from the second wall and, in the second position, contacts the second wall.

Electromagnetic valve
