Metal heater system
A metal heater system. More specifically, a plurality of metal heaters is coupled to the surface of the lower end of a pipeline at predetermined intervals in the longitudinal direction of the pipeline, and PTC heating elements inside the metal heaters conduct heat to local portions of the pipeline. Convection is generated in a fluid inside the pipeline because of the heat conducted to the local portions, and thus the overall pipeline is maintained at a constant temperature, efficiently preventing the freezing and bursting of the pipeline in winter.

HEATED RESPIRATORY HOSE CONNECTION
Unwinding a portion of a support helix that comprises a heating wire from a wall of a hose at an end of the hose; sleeving a length of heatshrink tubing at least partly onto the unwound portion of the support helix; heating the heatshrink tubing to shrink onto at least part of the unwound portion of the support helix; and at an end of the unwound portion, directly connecting the heating wire to an electrical contact of an electrical connector.
Direct electrical heating arrangement with a power electronic converter
An arrangement provides an AC current to a load for direct electrical heating. The arrangement includes a AC-DC-AC converter cell. The converter cell has at least two converter input terminals connected to at least two transformer output terminals. The converter cell has a first converter output terminal and a second converter output terminal, wherein the first converter cell output terminal is adapted to be connected to the load.

Module for a vacuum pumping and/or abatement system
A module for a vacuum pumping and/or abatement system. The module comprises a frame defining a space, a plurality of facilities inputs configured to receive facilities from a facilities supply, a plurality of facilities outputs configured to output the received facilities out of the module, and a plurality of facilities connection lines located at least partially within the space defined by the frame. The plurality of facilities connection lines connect the facilities inputs to the facilities outputs. The module further comprises a controller configured to control supply of facilities received at the facilities inputs out of the facilities outputs; and control operation of one or more vacuum pumping and/or abatement apparatuses remote from the module.

FLUID CONNECTION AND FLUID HEATING DEVICE
A fluidic connection and fluid heating device for a fluid circuit, in particular for a motor vehicle, the device comprising a one-piece tubular body of plastic or composite material comprising at least one internal annular surface defining a fluid flow duct from an inlet to an outlet of the body and at least one external annular surface extending around the duct and on which is located at least one resistive heating element, wherein the resistive heating element is a resistive circuit which is formed in situ on the annular surface.
Thermally insulated and heated double-walled pipe segment for fitting by screw fastening, and a method of implementing such a pipe segment
A segment is fitted by screw-fastening for implementing a fluid transport pipe for transporting a fluid, the pipe including an inner wall and an outer wall, the segment including an inner tube and an outer tube that define an annular space between them. The segment includes in particular one heating duct placed in its annular space and opening out at either end of its annular space, the annular space being designed to be closed hermetically in order to enable it to be brought to a reduced pressure. A method of manufacturing the segment and a method of implementing the fluid transport pipe is described.
CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY WITH AT LEAST ONE CONNECTOR AND AT LEAST ONE MEDIA LINE
Connector assembly, and/or motor-vehicle connector assembly, with at least one connector and at least one media line connected to the connector. The media line is electrically heated, a heat-conducting element being arranged in the transition region between connector and media line. The heat-conducting element extends with a first heat-conducting section into the media line and with a second heat-conducting section into the connector. By means of the electric heating of the media line, the heat-conducting element is heated, and/or indirectly heated, and in particular is heated and/or indirectly heated as far as the region of the connector.
