Rail system and method for rosin collection
Systems, devices, and methods are disclosed for a rosin press that allows improved extraction over existing presses. The press includes improved platens for rosin collection with built-in gutter rail collection systems and well-distributed force on the pressed product and multiple hydraulic rams. In addition, computerized systems are provided for controlling and monitoring the system in an automated fashion, as well as safety features to prevent injury and damage to the product, especially during automated pressing.
Safety control module for a robot assembly and method of same
A robot assembly for safe operation in a manufacturing setting with humans including a sensor for detecting a human location and human movement is provided. A safety control module providing a boundary of a safety zone area that is associated with the human in a task oriented state that includes a largest possible area in which the human or an associated work object can extend when the human is standing in one location and performing the work task. The human movement and safety zone area location being used to develop a capture set area that includes at least one predictive future safety zone area location. Using the at least one predicted future safety zone area, establishing a travel path for moving the robot between locations without overlapping the capture set area.
Keep Out Zone System
Various embodiments of a jobsite keep out zone system are provided. The system includes one or more detectors configured to determine when an intruder is within and/or is approaching a protected area. In response to the determination, one or more alarms and/or notifications are generated.
COMPUTERIZED ROSIN PRESS
Systems, devices, and methods are disclosed for a rosin press that allows improved extraction over existing presses. Computerized systems are provided for controlling and monitoring the system in an automated fashion, including via a wireless device or a server.
Entry Detection System
In an entry detection system, detection of an object that is allowed to enter the region is appropriately disabled. An entry detection system for detecting an object entering a region includes: an entry detection sensor configured to detect whether or not a part of the object is present within an entry detection plane; a muting sensor section including a first unit and a second unit; and a control unit. The control unit disables the entry detection sensor in response to at least one of a first detection state and a second detection state being established, the first detection state is a state in which the first unit provided on a passing direction-first side of the entry detection plane detects the object, and the second detection state is a state in which the second unit provided on a passing direction-second side of the entry detection plane detects the object.
Power tool having object detection
A power tool and methods are provided for detecting objects (e.g., flesh or other materials) in the operating path of a power tool's output component (e.g., saw blade or drill bit). An object detection sensor in the power tool generates an output signal indicative of a type of material detected in the operating path of the power tool. A power tool controller receives the object detection sensor output and determines when a material in the operating path of the power tool changes. The controller changes operation of a motor of the power tool (e.g., increasing or decreasing speed or stopping the motor) in response to the detected material change. The object detection sensor may include, for example, an RF sensor, a capacitive sensor, a camera, a conductivity probe, or an ultrasound probe.
Recognition-based industrial automation control with position and derivative decision reference
The present disclosure generally relates to a method for performing industrial automation control may include detecting, via a sensor system, positions and/or motions of a human in an industrial automation system, determining at least one derivative value from the detected positions and/or motions, and determining a possible automation command and an undesirable condition based upon the detected positions and/or motions and the at least one derivative value. The method may then include implementing a control and/or notification action based upon the determined possible automation command and the undesired condition.
Safety detection system and method
There is provided a safety method of detecting and signaling presence of a danger related to a danger source, the method comprising providing a base station at the danger source comprising first detectors and second detectors, the base station being adapted to determine an angular position of a target detected by a first detector among the first detectors within a detection zone based on an angular orientation of the first detector known a priori by the base station, and to determine a distance of the target by activating a second detector among the second detectors to measure the distance between the target and the base station in response to the target detection; and providing targets with portable target devices adapted to send signals in response to signals received from the first detectors of the base station. The first detectors are radio frequency transceivers and the second detectors are ultrasound transceiver. There is also provided a safety system for detecting and signaling presence of a target in danger zone.
WORK ZONE ALERT SYSTEM AND METHOD
An exemplary method and system is disclosed that facilitates a readily-re-deployable and self-enclosed geofencing and proximity-based intrusion sensing and alerting system in a roadway or construction work zone. The sensing and alerting system is configured in the form factor of a safety cone, barricade or drum to sense and uses acoustic-echoes or LiDAR-based sensing to detect intruders that are in proximity to the sensing and alerting system to generate a siren or loud audible alert, as well as flashing lights, to warn workers of such intrusion.
PRESENCE DETECTION AND INDICATOR SYSTEM AND METHOD
A safety system for preventing collisions includes presence detection sensors oriented to sense the presence of a person or machine within a first and a second field of monitoring, and providing a visual indicator indicative of the person and/or machine sensed within the first and second fields of monitoring.
