Totally aerated combustion burner
An outer peripheral edge part of the air-fuel mixture permeable member is connected to a portion away outward by a predetermined distance from an inner peripheral edge of the burner frame. Between the burner frame and the air-fuel mixture permeable member a clearance reaching the inner peripheral edge of the burner frame is secured at a position inward of the outer peripheral part of the air-fuel mixture permeable member. Preferably, a bent edge part formed on an inner peripheral edge of the burner frame, in a manner to be bent toward the air-fuel mixture permeable member. The amount of the air-fuel mixture to flow into the clearance is limited to a smaller amount.
SYSTEM FOR COMBUSTING A METHANE STREAM AND A METHOD OF COMBUSTION
A system for combusting a methane stream in an ITM combustion reactor and a method of combusting the methane stream, wherein an optimized volumetric flow rate of the methane stream provides an off-stoichiometric molar ratio of methane to oxygen, which is provided by an ITM in the ITM combustion reactor, and the method further offers a relatively constant oxygen flux via the ITM as well as a prolonged membrane stability. Various embodiments of the system and the method are also provided.
BURNER CAP FOR A BURNER ASSEMBLY
A burner assembly includes a spreader and a burner cap coupled to the spreader. The burner cap includes a sheet metal base bounded by a peripheral lip and a sheet metal top extending over the sheet metal base to define a gap and having a peripheral rim that wraps about at least a portion of the peripheral lip. The sheet metal base defines at least one port configured to allow air to flow into and out of the gap.
COMBUSTION MEMBRANE FOR A GAS BURNER
A combustion membrane (14, 14′) for a gas burner (2) forms a multilayer panel (22) including a gas-permeable diffuser layer (24) of a porous or fibrous solid material other than metal sheet, the diffuser layer (24) forming a combustion surface (25) facing an outer side (17), a support layer (26) formed by a metal sheet (32), arranged on an inner side (23) with respect to the diffuser layer (24), opposite to the combustion surface (25), and connected to the diffuser layer. The metal sheet has a pattern (27) of passage openings (28), a local deviating layer (29), bordering the support layer (26). Diverter flaps (30) bent transversely out of the support layer (26) and delimited by cutting or tearing edges (42) of the support layer metal sheet (32), form guide surfaces (31) oblique to a direction (40) orthogonal to an extension plane (41) of the multilayer panel (22).
Push/Pull Furnace and Methods Related Thereto
Example furnaces and methods related thereto are disclosed herein. In an embodiment, the furnace includes a burner box including at least one burner configured to combust a fuel/air mixture. In addition, the furnace includes a first blower including an inlet nozzle having an air inlet and fuel inlet. The inlet nozzle is configured such that operation of the first blower is to pull air and fuel into the inlet nozzle to produce the fuel/air mixture at a fuel/air ratio that is configured to produce flue products having less than 14 Nano-grams per Joule of nitrogen oxides when combusted. Operation of the first blower is configured to push the fuel/air mixture into the burner box. Further, the furnace includes a heat exchanger assembly fluidly coupled to the burner box through a vestibule, and a second blower configured to pull the flue products through the heat exchanger assembly.

The invention relates to a burner as well as to a waste gas treatment device for generating a flame for the combustion of process gas, especially of contaminants, in a combustion chamber, in each case having feed lines for a fuel gas and for an oxidizing agent so that they flow into a pre-mixing chamber, and having an ignition device for igniting the gas mixture contained in the pre-mixing chamber. According to the invention, a sensor for detecting and/or monitoring the flame is provided on the burner, especially at one end of the burner situated opposite from the pre-mixing chamber.
Burner cap for a burner assembly
A burner assembly includes a spreader and a burner cap coupled to the spreader.
