Portable Refrigerant Management System and Refrigerant Management Method
The refrigerant management system has a service port connection, refrigerant treatment elements and a wet circuit connecting the service port connection to the refrigerant treatment elements. The refrigerant treatment elements are comprised of a refrigerant filter, a compressor, a condenser coil and a tank. The tank has tank head manifolds mounted thereto. The filter, the compressor and the condenser coil being mounted to the tank and connected to the tank head manifolds by respective pairs of tubing. The wet circuit being partially incorporated inside the tank head manifolds and inside the tank between the tank head manifolds. The first tank head manifold connects the service port connection to the refrigerant filter. The second tank head manifold connects the compressor to the condenser coil and to the tank. Conduits inside the tank extending between the first and second tank head manifolds connect the refrigerant filter to the compressor.
REFRIGERATION SYSTEM WITH TRANSFER SYSTEM
A refrigeration system comprising a main refrigeration circuit including a compression stage, a condensing stage, and an evaporation stage, a refrigerant circulating between the compression stage, the condensing stage and the evaporation stage in a refrigeration cycle. An integrated transfer system is in closeable and openable fluid communication with the main refrigeration circuit, the transfer system including a receiver. Valves are operable to selectively open the fluid communication between the main refrigeration circuit and the transfer system. A motive force source displaces refrigerant from the main refrigeration circuit to the transfer system.
Integral service refrigerant pump
A chiller system is provided and includes a chiller, a lubrication assembly and a controller. The chiller includes a compressor, a condenser, an expansion assembly and an evaporator in fluid communication with one another. The lubrication assembly is operably coupled to the compressor, the condenser and the evaporator and is formed to define first-third pathways via a three-way valve and a fourth pathway. The first pathway is configured for pumping refrigerant through the chiller, the second pathway is configured for pre-storing refrigerant in the chiller, the third pathway is configured for removing refrigerant from the chiller and the fourth pathway is configured for charging refrigerant into the chiller. The controller is configured to control the lubrication assembly to selectively engage one of the first-fourth pathways.
METHODS AND CONTAINERS FOR TRANSPORTING, TRANSFERRING, STORING AND USING REFRIGERANTS
A system and method for delivering a refrigerant to a refrigerant system. The system includes a distribution system comprising a distribution vessel, a transfer line, at least one pump, a distribution line and a distribution line branch arranged and disposed to transfer refrigerant from the distribution vessel to the refrigerant system. The system additionally includes a monitoring system comprising one or more sensors arranged and disposed to measure at least one distribution parameter within the distribution system and a recovery system arranged and disposed to selectively receive refrigerant based upon the refrigerant suitability for use in the refrigerant system.
Refrigeration system with transfer system
A refrigeration system has a main refrigeration circuit including a compression stage, a condensing stage, and an evaporation stage, a refrigerant circulating between the compression stage, the condensing stage and the evaporation stage in a refrigeration cycle.
INJECTOR SYSTEM FOR REFRIGERANT SYSTEMS
An injector for servicing a refrigerant system employs a reconfigurable container that is selectively configurable in a plurality of different container configurations. In each container configuration, an outlet of the reconfigurable container can be fluidly connected to the refrigerant system such that the injector can discharge treatment fluid through the outlet into the refrigerant system. The plurality of different container configurations can include a plurality of different fillable container configurations or one or more fillable container configurations and a pass-through configuration. In a fillable container configuration, the reconfigurable container defines a fillable space for receiving treatment fluid. In a pass-through container configuration, the reconfigurable container passes fluid from a disposable container through the outlet. In use, the desired container configuration is selected and fluid is injected from the injector into a refrigerant system.
Refrigerant charging assemblies and methods of use
Refrigerant charging systems and methods of use are described herein. A refrigerant charging system may include a conduit, a valve releasably connectable to the outlet portion and coupled to a first end of the conduit; and a disconnect coupler fitting connected to a second end of the conduit. The disconnect coupler fitting may include a control structure positioned in a hollow body that, during use, allows refrigerant flow to the refrigerant circuit. The control structure may include one or more openings that allow controlled leakage of fluid from the refrigerant charging assembly when the refrigerant charging assembly is disconnected from at least the refrigerant service unit.
Apparatus and method for dual refrigerant tank refill
A dual tank refrigerant delivery apparatus including a refrigerant tank housing a first storage tank, a second storage tank, and a refrigerant delivery system positioned therein, the refrigerant delivery system adapted to supply a first refrigerant to the first storage tank and a second refrigerant to the second storage tank, a tank recess on the housing for receiving a refrigerant resupply tank, a first refrigerant hose for connecting to a first refrigerant resupply tank, a second refrigerant hose for connecting to a second refrigerant resupply tank, wherein the first refrigerant is supplied from the first refrigerant resupply tank through the first refrigerant hose and refrigerant delivery system to the first storage tank, and wherein the second refrigerant is supplied from the second refrigerant resupply tank through the second refrigerant hose and refrigerant delivery system to the second storage tank.
