A cooling system for the decoating system includes a sensor, a control device, and a controller communicatively coupled with the sensor and the control device. The sensor is configured to measure a characteristic of the cooling system in the decoating system, the control device controls the characteristic of the cooling system, and the controller is configured to adjust the control device to adjust the characteristic of the cooling system based on at least one of a measured temperature within the decoating system or the measured characteristic. A method of controlling a temperature of the decoating system includes measuring a temperature within a piece of equipment of the decoating system and measuring a characteristic the cooling system in the piece of equipment of the decoating system. The method includes controlling the cooling system to adjust the characteristic based on at least one of the measured temperature or the measured characteristic.
TIME-BASED AND SOUND-BASED PROGNOSTICS FOR RESTRICTIONS WITHIN A HEATING, VENTILATION, AND AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM
A device is configured to operate a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system. The device is further configured to determine that the amount of time to close a pressure switch exceeds a time threshold value. The device is further configured to receive an audio signal from a microphone while operating the HVAC system, to identify an audio signature for the combustion air inducer, and to determine the audio signature for the combustion air inducer is present within the audio signal. The device is further configured to determine a fault type based on the determination that the audio signature for the combustion air inducer is present within the audio signal, to identify a component identifier for a component of the HVAC system that is associated with fault type, and to output a recommendation identifying the component identifier.
HEAT TREATMENT APPARATUS AND HEAT TREATMENT METHOD
A heat treatment apparatus including: a cylindrical processing container; a heater configured to heat the processing container; and a cooler configured to cool the processing container, wherein the cooler includes: discharge holes provided at intervals in a longitudinal direction of the processing container, the discharge holes being configured to discharge a cooling medium toward the processing container; a branch configured to divide the cooling medium into a plurality of flowing paths that communicate with the discharge holes; and blowers provided for respective ones of the flowing paths, the blowers being configured to send the cooling medium to the discharge holes that communicate with the respective ones of the flowing paths.

A method of controlling a temperature of the decoating system includes measuring a temperature within a piece of equipment of the decoating system and measuring a characteristic the cooling system in the piece of equipment of the decoating system. The method includes controlling the cooling system to adjust the characteristic based on at least one of the measured temperature or the measured characteristic.
Mounting system for pressure switch providing both mechanical support and integrated pressure communication
A mounting system for mounting a pressure switch to a mounting body without using screws or brackets. The mounting system includes a support physically supporting the pressure switch on the mounting body, a conduit carrying a pressure signal from the mounting body to the pressure switch, and a connector extending between and connecting the support to the conduit. The support and conduit may have ends constructed of synthetic rubber to frictionally engage support and conduit mounts, and the support and conduit may have approximately the same length and/or the same cross-sectional shape. The mounting body may be a draft inducer, a condensate collector box, or a drain trap in a furnace.

GAS MANAGEMENT ASSEMBLY FOR HIGH PRESSURE HEAT-TREATMENT APPARATUS
Provided is a gas management assembly for a high pressure heat-treatment apparatus, the assembly including: a housing having an inner space; a gas supply module disposed in the inner space and configured to supply a gas to internal and external chambers of the high pressure heat-treatment apparatus; a gas exhaust module disposed in the inner space and configured to exhaust the gas caused by heat treatment of an object from the internal chamber; a detection module connected to the gas exhaust module in the inner space and configured to detect the residual gas remaining in the internal chamber; and a control module configured to control at least one of the gas supply module and the gas exhaust module based on a detection result of the residual gas by the detection module.
BLAST FURNACE COOLING PLATE WITH INTEGRATED WEAR DETECTION SYSTEM
A cooling plate for a metallurgical furnace comprising a body (12) with a front face (18) and an opposite rear face (20), the body having at least one coolant channel (14) therein; the front face (18) being turned towards the furnace interior and preferably comprises alternating ribs (22) and grooves (24). The cooling plate includes wear detection means comprising: a plurality of closed pressure chambers (26, 28) distributed at different locations in said body, said pressure chambers being positioned at predetermined depths below the front face (18) of said body; and a pressure sensor (30) associated with each pressure chamber (26, 28) in order to detect a deviation from a reference pressure inside said pressure chamber when the latter becomes open due to wear out of said body.
DIRECT REDUCTION SHAFT FURNACE WITH PROBE FOR MEASURING INTERIOR GAS ANALYSIS
A direct reduction shaft furnace having at least one probe disposed vertically within the reduction zone thereof. The probe preferably extends from the top to the bottom of the reduction zone. The probe allows for gas sampling along the length thereof and transmittal of the gas to at least one type of gas analysis device. The probe may also allow for the measurement of the temperature and pressure of the gas sample as it is taken.
