HEADER ASSEMBLY AND HEAT EXCHANGER
Disclosed in the present invention are a header assembly for a heat exchanger, and a heat exchanger. The header assembly includes: a header, having: a header wall, and a recess on the header wall or an opening penetrating the header wall at an end of the header wall; an end cap disposed at the end of the header wall to close the end of the header, the end cap having a hole, the opening or recess being at a side of the end cap that faces an end face of the end of the header wall; a distribution pipe, comprising a distribution part and a connection part, the connection part projecting from the end cap through the hole of the end cap from the distribution part; and a positioning member having a first end and a second end, the first end of the positioning member being connected to the connection part of the distribution pipe, and the second end of the positioning member being engaged in the opening or recess of the header wall of the header. By using the header assembly and the heat exchanger according to the embodiments of the present invention, the quality of the heat exchanger may be improved.
Cooling device for cooling an energy accumulator and/or electronic assembly and method of manufacturing the same
The invention relates to a cooling device for cooling an energy accumulator and/or electronic assembly, comprising a preferably plate-shaped heat sink in whose interior at least one coolant channel is formed, wherein the heat sink comprises two sheet metal blanks cohesively joined onto each other surface to surface, wherein one sheet metal blank has a channel-shaped bulge that bulges out of the joining plane of the two sheet metal blanks with about the same wall thickness, is connected to the other sheet metal blank only at its edge, and forms the coolant channel.
FASTENING DEVICE FOR COUPLING DUCTS OF HEAT EXCHANGER
A fastening device for fluid tightly coupling a first duct body and a second duct body of a heat exchanger is provided. The fastening device includes a support member to couple with a connecting edge of the first duct body. The support member includes a pivot pin and a locking device disposed at an offset distance from the pivot pin along a radial axis of the fastening device. The fastening device further includes a pivot arm having a first end to engage with the pivot pin and a second end to engage with a flange of the second duct body. The locking device engages with the pivot arm and move the second end of the pivot arm relative to the pivot pin to fluid tightly engage the flange of the second duct body with the connecting edge of the first duct body.
IMPROVEMENTS RELATING TO SOLAR WATER HEATERS
A solar heat exchanger in which the manifolds are connected together using a threadless connection arrangement in which the end of one manifold tube carries at least two annular seals and the internal bore of the end of the adjacent manifold tube is cammed and when locked, the connection of the two manifolds is resistant to loosening when exposed to repeated thermal expansion and contraction cycles.
