The distributor has a main body having a first flow passage through which refrigerant flows upward, and an insertion part disposed inside the main body. When an upper one and a lower one of two among the heat transfer tubes are a first heat transfer tube and a second heat transfer tube, respectively, the insertion part is installed between the first heat transfer tube and the second heat transfer tube. The main body has a second flow passage through which refrigerant flows upward. Refrigerant having passed through the first flow passage and the second flow passage flows through the first heat transfer tube, and refrigerant having passed through the first flow passage flows through the second heat transfer tube.

The first bottom plate is of a one-piece configuration. The first surface is recessed inwardly to form a straight first hole extending along a length direction. The second surface is recessed inwardly to form at least two straight second holes extending along a width direction perpendicular to the length direction. The first hole is communicated with the at least two second holes. The cover plate is connected to the first surface to block an opening of the first hole on the first surface. A heat exchanger having the header box is also disclosed.

Evaporator and vehicular air conditioner using the same

An evaporator is used in an inclined state in which a first header tank is located on the upper side in relation to a second header tank. The leeward and windward header sections of the first header tank have compartments with which the furthest tube groups of leeward and windward tube rows communicate. The compartments are divided into upper and lower spaces by split flow control sections, and the upper and lower spaces communicate through refrigerant passage holes formed in the split flow control sections. The total cross sectional area of the refrigerant passage holes of the split flow control section of the compartment located on the lower side in the inclined state is smaller than the total cross sectional area of the refrigerant passage holes of the split flow control section of the compartment located on the upper side in the inclined state.

A heat exchanger includes a plurality of flat tubes, a header part, and a guide part. An interior of the header part is partitioned into first and second spaces. One end of each of the tubes is connected to the first space. The guide part has a guide space positioned below the first space. The guide space communicates with the first space via an ascending opening. The first and second spaces communicate with each other via upper and lower communication ports provided within upper and lower sides of the header part, respectively. When the heat exchanger is viewed from above after installation, the tubes and the ascending opening have an area of overlap, and the ascending opening and a space where the lower communication port is extended do not overlap or have an area of overlap that is up to 50% of the ascending opening.

HEADER OF HEAT EXCHANGER

A cylindrical header of a heat exchanger includes a central member, front-side and rear-side members extending longitudinally on front and rear sides of the central member to form front-side and rear-side spaces along with the central member. The central member has a first flange covering a front-side-member-first-end part and a rear-side-member-first-end part from outside when viewed in cross-section, and a second flange covering a front-side-member-second-end part and a rear-side-member-second-end part from outside when viewed in cross-section. The front-side member is joined to the central member with the front-side-member-first-end part facing an inner surface of the first flange, and the front-side-member-second-end part facing an inner surface of the second flange. The rear-side is joined to the central member with the rear-side-member-first-end part facing an inner surface of the first flange, and the rear-side-member-second-end part facing an inner surface of the second flange.

Heat exchanger and air-conditioner

A heat exchanger including multiple fins, multiple heat transfer pipes having an oval shape or a flat shape and joined to the fins, and a header connected, on one end side, to an end portion of an inlet pipe through which working fluid flows in upon evaporation operation and connected, on the other end side, to an end portion of each of the heat transfer pipes, wherein the header includes a longitudinal partition plate arranged to extend in a longitudinal direction and configured to divide an internal space of the header into an inlet-pipe-side space connected to the end portion of the inlet pipe and a heat-transfer-pipe-side space connected to the end portion of each of the heat transfer pipes, and an opening is formed at a position not overlapping with the inlet pipe at the longitudinal partition plate.

ECS dual entry ram inlet plenum

An environmental control system of an aircraft with a power turbine includes a heat exchanger and a plenum attached to and in fluid communication with the heat exchanger. The plenum includes a housing with a first inlet fluidly connected to the power turbine, a second inlet fluidly connected to a source of ram air, and an outlet fluidly connected to the heat exchanger.

HEAT EXCHANGER

A heat exchanger includes flat tubes, a header to which the flat tubes are connected, an inflow plate that separates a refrigerant inflow portion and a lower circulation portion, a vertical dividing plate that separates the lower circulation portion and an upper circulation portion, a lower dividing plate that divides the lower circulation portion into a lower ascent path on an internal side and a lower descent path of an external side, and an upper dividing plate that divides the upper circulation portion into an upper ascent path on a leeward side, and an upper descent path on a windward side, wherein the inflow plate includes an ejection hole on a leeward side and an internal side, and the vertical dividing plate includes a first passing port on a leeward side and an internal side, and a second passing port on a windward external side.
