A flavouring dispenser for dispensing doses of flavouring is disclosed. The flavouring dispenser comprises a flavouring chamber for containing flavouring; a dosing member having a dosing volume for receiving flavouring from the flavouring chamber, the dosing member defining an opening to the dosing volume through which flavouring is received from the flavouring chamber. A reciprocating member is movable relative to the dosing member between a closed position, at which the opening is isolated from the flavouring chamber by the reciprocating member, to a first open position, at which the opening is partially exposed to the flavouring chamber such that an amount of flavouring may enter into the dosing volume via the opening, and back to the closed position, such that the flavouring may be dispensed by the dosing member. The first open position of the reciprocating member is adjustable such that degree to which the opening is exposed to the flavouring chamber may be changed so as to adjust the amount of flavouring received in the dosing volume.

A nut dispenser device for dispensing nuts is provided. The nut dispenser device comprises a hollow support structure having a top side, a bottom side, and an open front side. A nut holder housing is pivotally connected to the support structure with the nut holder housing having a back door pivotally connected to the nut holder housing near a top of the nut holder housing. A spring mechanism is positioned between the support structure and the nut holder housing with the spring mechanism biasing the nut holder housing in a generally upward direction. A nut collection base is mounted to the bottom side of the support structure. As the back door of the nut holder housing opens and the nuts are dispensed therethrough, and into the nut collection base by gravity for retrieval by the user.

Disclosed, is a dosing apparatus [1] which is configured to provide a predetermined amount of material from one vessel to another vessel. The dosing apparatus [1] may comprise a dosing head having a dosing tube [9] and a dosing rod [12] which is movable within said dosing tube [9]. The dosing rod [12] may comprise a dosing chamber [10] which may be filled with a predetermined amount of material. Also described, is a method of dosing which utilizes the dosing apparatus [1] disclosed. In some embodiments, the method may comprise providing a dosing apparatus [1], extending the dosing rod [12] with respect to the dosing tube [9], loading the dosing chamber [10] with a predetermined amount of material, and, retracting the dosing rod [12] with respect to the dosing tube [9] to close the dosing chamber [10]. One or more air and/or liquid cleaning steps may be employed, wherein a cleaning unit [17, 117] may be utilized to clean the dosing rod [12] and/or a funnel [4].

There is disclosed a dispenser 10 for dispensing product objects, comprising: a main chamber 20 for storing product objects; and a portion dispensing mechanism for dispensing a portion comprising a plurality of project objects 40. The portion dispensing mechanism comprises a gate arrangement 36 and a collection chamber 24 which are configured for relative linear movement between a loading configuration and a dispensing configuration. In the loading configuration a plurality of product objects 40 within the main chamber 20 collect within the collection chamber 24 and the gate arrangement 36 prevents product objects 40 from being dispensed from the collection chamber 24. In the dispensing configuration the gate arrangement 36 prevents product objects within the main chamber 20 from entering the collection chamber 24 and a plurality of product objects are dispensed from the collection chamber.
