An ultrasound system including: a housing including a handle region and a membrane; an ultrasound transducer; a reservoir; a rotational actuator; and an electronics module.
Method for harmonic shear wave detection with a low frame rate ultrasound system
Systems and methods for harmonic shear wave detection using low frame rate ultrasound, or a three-dimensional (3D) volumetric scan, are provided. As one example, spurious motion sources, such as intrinsic tissue motion and waves that are not at the incident wave harmonic frequency, are removed based on a scanning sequence in which repeated acquisitions from a given subvolume occur closely in time so as to render effects of the spurious motions negligible. As another example, sampling frequency and center frequency are selected such that the spurious motion signal spectra do not overlap with aliased shear wave motion spectra, such that the spurious motions can be filtered.
Ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus, medical image processing apparatus, and non-transitory computer medium storing computer program
The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus according to the present embodiment includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry is configured to: acquire multiple position data associated with respective multiple two-dimensional image data of ultrasonic related to multiple cross sections; smooth the acquired multiple position data; and arrange the multiple two-dimensional image data in accordance with the smoothed multiple position data to generate volume data.
MULTILINE RECEIVE BEAMFORMERS AND RELATED SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Microbeamformers coupled to groups of array elements which partially beamform groups of elements for the formation of multiple receive lines are provided. In the microbeamformers, a delay line can be configured to output multiple signal streams that can be delayed by different amounts to support multiline receive in a microbeamformer. A read process during beamforming is not destructive, thereby allowing multiline receive beams to be generated from a single delay line.
ULTRASONIC IMAGING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING SAME
In accordance with one aspect of the present disclosure, an ultrasound imaging apparatus comprising: an ultrasonic probe for transmitting ultrasonic waves to a target object and receiving ultrasonic waves reflected from the object; a beamforming unit for beamforming the received ultrasonic wave and outputting a beamforming signal; a sampling unit for adjusting the number of sampling times of the beamforming signal according to the amount of motion of the object; and an image processing unit for matching and synthesizing the sampled signals.
Network-based ultrasound imaging system
Systems and methods for network-based ultrasound imaging are provided, which can include a number of features. In some embodiments, an ultrasound imaging system images an object with three-dimensional unfocused pings and obtains digital sample sets from a plurality of receiver elements. A sub-set of the digital sample sets can be electronically transferred to a remote server, where the sub-set can be beamformed to produce a series of two-dimensional image frames. A video stream made up of the series of two-dimensional images frames can then be transferred from the remote server to a display device.
SYSTEM FOR 3D MULTI-PARAMETRIC ULTRASOUND IMAGING
Systems and methods are disclosed that facilitate obtaining two dimensional (2D) ultrasound images, using two or more ultrasound imaging modes or modalities, to generate 2D multi-parametric ultrasound (mpUS) images and/or to generate a three-dimensional (3D) mpUS image. The different ultrasound imaging modes acquire images in a common frame of reference during a single procedure to facilitate their registration. The mpUS images (i.e., 2D or 3D) may be used for enhanced and/or automated detection of one or more suspicious regions. After identifying one or more suspicious regions, the mpUS images may be utilized with a real-time image to guide biopsy or therapy the region(s). All these processes may be performed in a single medical procedure.

ULTRASONIC DIAGNOSTIC APPARATUS, SCAN SUPPORT METHOD, AND MEDICAL IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS
An ultrasonic diagnosis apparatus includes a position detector, and control circuitry. The position detector detects a position in a three-dimensional space of one of an ultrasonic image and an ultrasonic probe. The control circuitry uses a vivisection view defined in a three-dimensional space. The control circuitry associates a structure related to a subject included in the ultrasonic image with a structure included in the vivisection view using a position and orientation in a first three-dimensional coordinate system of the structure related to the subject included in the ultrasonic image and a position and orientation in a second three-dimensional coordinate system of the structure included in the vivisection view.
3-D ULTRASOUND CORONAROGRAPHY, A NON-IONIZING AND NON-INVASIVE TECHNOLOGY FOR MULTI-SCALE ANATOMICAL AND FUNCTIONAL IMAGING OF CORONARY CIRCULATION
The present invention relates to the field of ultrasounds and imagining of the coronary blood flow of the heart. Patients with coronary microvascular dysfunction (CMD) have poor prognostic with significantly higher rates of cardiovascular events, including hospitalization for heart failure, sudden cardiac death, and myocardial infarction (MI). Despite the urgent clinical need, there are no non-ionizing and non-invasive techniques available in clinic to directly visualize the coronary microvasculature and assess the local coronary microvascular system. Flow imaging remains a difficult task to perform in the heart because of the fast movements of this organ. In order to overcome the limitations of actual imaging methods for the coronary blood flow, the inventors proposed an ultrasound ultrafast imaging method that automatically detect the time periods in which the myocardium velocity is low and estimate the coronary flow velocity and the tissue velocity from the same data acquisition.
