LIGHTING APPARATUS HAVING A FLEXIBLE PLANAR LIGHTING ELEMENT
A lighting apparatus including: a flexible planar light source having plural illuminants over a surface of a planar carrier material, which includes a flexible planar circuit carrier fitted with the illuminants on a side. The illuminants being interconnected by electrical lines formed in or on the circuit carrier, and a controller to supply power to the illuminants and control the illuminants. The controller includes a housing disposed on an edge of the planar light source and is mechanically connected to the planar light source, an edge of the planar light source being partly accommodated in the housing. The housing including electrical and electronic components and lines connected to the electrical lines of the planar light source. A strain relief is configured to absorb tensile stresses between the housing and the planar light source to keep the tensile stresses away from electrical connections between the controller and the planar light source.
FLASH UNIT AND EMITTED LIGHT AMOUNT CONTROL METHOD
A flash unit capable of being attached to a flash control unit, comprising: a memory that stores information relating to a light emission time for actual flash corresponding to a difference between an emitted light amount command value for actual flash and an emitted light amount command value for pre-flash, and a controller, including an light emission time calculation section that obtains light emission time corresponding to emitted light amount command value for actual flash based on emitted light amount command value for pre-flash, emitted light amount command value for actual flash, and information stored in the memory, wherein the controller inputs the emitted light amount command value for pre-flash and the emitted light amount command value for actual flash acquired to the light emission time calculation section, and controls actual flash of the flash light emitting source based on the light emission time.
WEARABLE LIGHTING ACCESSORY
The present invention provides a novel lighting accessory, which has never been proposed before for increasing luminance when in one embodiment, a mobile electronic device is used in a low light environment for photography, videography or video conferencing. By disposing a lighting device in an accessory, when a user utilizes a common back camera on a mobile device to conduct video conferencing, the lighting device helps to illuminate the user's face and increase luminance. As for the user using a common front camera to do video or photo shooting, the lighting device helps to increase luminance of the subject and ambient environment, so that the video or photo shot performs at a high quality. The lighting device can be concealed in a novel reversible light housing that can also be used to conceal other wearable technology, such as fitness monitors, watch components, etc.
Adjustable light for underwater photography
An underwater diving light includes efficient cooling of LEDs and other internal electronics by heat transfer to ambient water. The water is in contact with a metallic face plate or puck that conducts heat via contiguous metal from an LED circuit board or LED face plate. Ambient water can enter the assembly to spaces between the face plate and an intermediary plate at the front of a housing to efficiently cool the LEDs and associated electronics. In a high-output form the light can emit 8000 lumens, and in this embodiment the battery is cooled by ambient water. The face plate or puck is interchangeable, for different lighting characteristics.
OPTICAL DEVICE
An optical device includes a clamp seat and a light tuning assembly. The clamp seat includes a base, a curved potion extending from the base, and a pressing portion extending from the curved portion. The light tuning assembly includes a support frame disposed at the base, an optical lens restrained by the support frame, and an adjusting member coordinating with the optical lens. In an application of the optical device, a user may clamp a multimedia mobile communication device by the base and the pressing portion to allow the optical lens to align with a light projecting assembly of the multimedia mobile communication device. The adjusting member is rotated to adjust a distance between the optical lens and the light projecting assembly. Light from the light projecting assembly is then focused or dispersed through the optical lens to solve an issue of unadjustable light of a conventional solution.
Evidence capturing
An evidence capturing device, which includes an elongate tubular body having a first object end and a second, camera mounting, end, with an optical path defined between the object end and the camera mounting end, a bracket at the camera mounting end of the body for mounting a camera to the body, so that a mounted camera is directed towards the object end of the body at which an object plane is defined perpendicular to the body, a filter holder disposed in the optical path between the object end and the camera end, a light source housing protruding from the body between the object end and the camera end for mounting a light source so that a mounted light source is directed at the object plane from an angle and a rotatable ring for rotating the camera and light source housing relative to each other about an elongate axis of the body.
A HOUSING FOR AN INTERMEDIATE SIGNAL TRANSMISSION UNIT AND AN INTERMEDIATE SIGNAL TRANSMISSION UNIT
A housing for an intermediate signal transmission unit for wireless communication between a camera and at least one remote flash device, the housing comprising a first housing part and a second housing part which are connected. The second housing part is configured to accommodate signal transmission components of the intermediate signal transmission unit. The housing also comprising a connector by means of which the housing is physically connectable to a camera, said connector being arranged on the second housing part. The first housing part is displaceable in relation to the second housing part, and the first housing part comprises at least one actuator configured to control at least one switch, said switch being part of the signal transmission components and located in the second housing part. The at least one actuator is movable between at least two positions in relation to the second housing part, comprising a first position in which the actuator can control the switch to be in a first state, and a second position in which the actuator can control the switch to be in a second state, by means of displacing the first housing part and the actuator in relation to the second housing part.
