SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MANAGING CONTROL PERFORMANCE OF A BUILDING AUTOMATION DEVICE
There is described a system and method for managing control performance of a field device receiving variable data. Variable and setpoint references corresponding to a control loop of the field device are identified. A time delay normal period based on expected oscillations of the variable reference and first settling thresholds associated with the setpoint reference are also identified. An offnormal timestamp is generated based on the variable reference relative to one or more second settling thresholds associated with the setpoint reference. A normal timestamp is generated based on the variable reference relative to the first settling thresholds. A settling time of the control performance is determined based on the normal timestamp, the offnormal timestamp, and the time delay normal period. One or more performance features of the field device are modified based on the determined settling time.
CONTACTOR AND OPERATION METHOD THEREOF
The present disclosure relates to a contactor and an operation method thereof. The contactor includes a contact, a control device, a wear indication and reset device, and a memory. The control device generates and stores wear diagnosis alarm information when the contactor is disconnected; generates a switch control signal based on the wear diagnosis alarm information when the contactor is powered on. A switch unit in the wear indication and reset device enters a wear indication state based on the switch control signal, and receives a user's operation to enter a reset state. The control device receives switch state information of the switch unit, and stores it when the contactor is disconnected. When the contactor is powered on, the control device clears the wear diagnosis alarm information based on the received switch state information being the reset state and the switch state information stored being the wear indication state.
Systems and methods for managing energy-related stress in an electrical system
A method for reducing and/or managing energy-related stress in an electrical system includes processing electrical measurement data from or derived from energy-related signals captured by at least one intelligent electronic device (IED) in the electrical system to identify and track at least one energy-related transient in the electrical system. An impact of the at least one energy-related transient on equipment in the electrical system is quantified, and one or more transient-related alarms are generated in response to the impact of the at least one energy-related transient being near, within or above a predetermined range of the stress tolerance of the equipment. The transient-related alarms are prioritized based in part on at least one of the stress tolerance of the equipment, the stress associated with one or more transient events, and accumulated energy-related stress on the equipment. One or more actions are taken in the electrical system in response to the transient-related alarms to reduce energy-related stress on the equipment in the electrical system.
Method for commissioning and maintenance of alarm systems
A method of commissioning or maintenance an alarm system is provided. The method including: receiving a fault report including one or more faults from an alarm system; categorizing the one or more faults; prioritizing the one or more faults into a list of highest priority; determining a first root cause of a first fault of the one or more faults in response to at least one of an alarm system configuration of the alarm system, a device mapping of the alarm system, and an event history of the alarm system; providing instructions, via a user interface, regarding how to resolve the first fault in response to the first root cause; and detecting whether the first fault is resolved.
DATA FUSION AND RECONSTRUCTION METHOD FOR FINE CHEMICAL INDUSTRY SAFETY PRODUCTION BASED ON VIRTUAL KNOWLEDGE GRAPH
The present invention provides a data fusion and reconstruction method for fine chemical industry safety production based on a virtual knowledge graph. In view of the characteristics of fine chemical industry safety production data, such as a large amount of structured data, a multi-source heterogeneous database and a strong sequential logic, the present invention innovatively proposes a method of using a virtual knowledge graph to complete the fusion and reconstruction of a traditional database for fine chemical industry. The present invention fuses static structured knowledge in the field of fine chemical industry with a real-time dynamic database for chemical industry safety production in the concept of ontologies for the first time to organize time series data in the form of entities. In addition, the mapping rules of the existing OBDA system are improved based on a data set of the present invention.
State edge module server system and method
Embodiments include a server system including logic of an edge computing device. A network includes a cloud platform able to receive state change events from a state module, and execution of the program logic results in process steps of a method that include transmitting a plurality of attributes from the cloud platform to the at least one edge computing device, where the plurality of attributes can be associated with a device of a distributed environment coupled to the network. A further step includes receiving from the state module, by the edge computing device, current state data of the device, and a subsequent step includes performing a comparison based on a set of rules of the attributes, by the edge computing device, of the current state data. Further, based on the comparison, the method includes sending, by the edge computing device, an update to a human-machine-interface module.
Control apparatus and non-transitory program recording medium performing repeated deterioration diagnostic at a predetermined timing
A control apparatus for controlling an industrial machine includes a deterioration diagnostic unit that has a diagnostic function, which is repeatedly executed at predetermined timing, for diagnosing deterioration of each component of the industrial machine and outputs an alarm signal in response to deterioration equal to or more than a predetermined level in each component, an alarm control unit that outputs a stop command to the industrial machine based on the alarm signal and informs that the industrial machine is in an alarm stop state, and a cancellation operation receiving unit that receives the cancellation operation for cancelling the alarm stop state regardless of deterioration of each component. The deterioration diagnostic unit cancels the alarm stop state brought on by the diagnostic function based on the cancellation operation, and allows the industrial machine to operate until the diagnostic function is executed next.
