Systems, devices, and methods for adapting a thumbstick of a controller
Systems, apparatus, and methods are described for adjusting a thumbstick of a controller, such as adjusting a height and/or other characteristic of the thumbstick. Systems, apparatus, and methods can include one or more of a base element, an adjustment element, and a cap element, which can couple to one another to form an interlocked or stacked configuration that, when coupled to the thumbstick, can adjust the thumbstick of the controller.

Heated Joystick
The present invention relates to a heated joystick that is configured to be used with heavy-duty machines, excavators, snowplows, dump trucks and the like. The heated joystick comprises integrated heating elements for heating the surface of the joystick, a controller for controlling the operation of the integrated heating elements, and a wiring circuit to power the integrated heating elements and the controller. The wiring circuit can be connected to an external battery or to the vehicle's power system to supply power to the heated joystick. The heated joystick with the integrated heating elements provides heating of a joystick surface, thereby allowing an operator to easily hold the joystick with their bare hands in cold weather conditions.
Operating device for a steering wheel of a vehicle
An operating device for a steering wheel comprises an operating element, which can be selectively rotated about a first rotation axis and a second rotation axis for controlling a control system by means of an actuation, wherein the operating element can be rotated to an actuation stage from a starting position, wherein the first rotation axis is coaxial to the longitudinal axis of the operating element, and the second rotation axis is substantially transverse to the first rotation axis, wherein a force application point has a mechanical advantage with respect to the second rotation axis when actuated about the second rotation axis, and wherein the force application point has no substantial mechanical advantage in relation to the second rotation axis when the operating element is actuated about the first rotation axis, in order to prevent a simultaneous actuation of the operating element about the first and second rotation axes.
Machine joystick with ergonomic features
An input device for performing control functions of a machine having a work tool may include a left-hand joystick mounted on a left armrest of an operator's seat, and a right-hand joystick mounted on a right armrest of an operator's seat. Each of the left-hand and right-hand joysticks may include a base portion configured to conform to and least partially cradle an operator's hand, a handle extending from the base portion with a proximal end of the handle being connected to the base portion, and a distal end of the handle supporting a head portion of the joystick. The head portion of the joystick may include a front surface including a configurable face plate. The configurable face plate may include one of a pair of upshift and downshift buttons or a roller configured to perform one of discrete or continuously variable shifting, respectively, of a transmission of the machine. The handle may include a thumb rest area at the distal end of the handle transitioning into the head portion of the joystick.
SWITCH ACTUATOR
Embodiments included herein are directed towards an apparatus for actuating a switch of an operator control device, and related methods. Embodiments of the present disclosure may include a trigger shaped to mate with the operator control device. The trigger may include an integrated preload portion formed, at least in part, within the trigger. The trigger may further include an integrated actuator portion formed, at least in part, at an interfacing portion of the trigger. The integrated actuator portion may be configured to interface with the switch of the operator control device.

Control elements for materials handling vehicles
A plurality of control elements extend from the base portion of a control module in a materials handling vehicle. The control elements are located adjacent to one another, wherein at least one of the control elements includes mounting structure that permits the control element to be selectively mounted to the base portion in at least first and second positions. The first position defines a first distance between the control element and an immediately adjacent control element and the second position defines a second distance between the control element and the immediately adjacent control element, the second distance being greater than the first.
