COMPUTING CARD SUPPORT SYSTEM FOR AN INFORMATION HANDLING SYSTEM
A computing card support system, including: a cage positioned on a PCB, including: a first support structure; a second support structure; a cover that is removably coupled to the support structures and positioned opposite to the PCB, the cover including a grounding material positioned along an inner surface of the cover, the inner surface of the cover facing the PCB; computing cards that are i) coupled to the PCB at a first end of each respective computing card and ii) positioned within the cage, each of the computing cards including conductive pads positioned at a second end opposite to the first end of the respective computing card, wherein the computing cards extend from the PCB toward the cover such that the grounding material of the cover is in contact with the conductive pads of each of the computing cards to provide electrical grounding of the computing cards.
DATA STORAGE DEVICE
A data storage device includes a memory module including a circuit board, a plurality of light emitting elements and a light guiding unit. The light emitting elements are electrically connected to the circuit board. The light guiding unit includes a light-homogenizing plate and a light output portion. The plate is disposed between the light output portion and the light emitting elements. A light diffusion space is disposed between the plate and the light output portion. The light emitted by the light emitting elements propagates sequentially into the plate, the light diffusion space, and the light output portion and then is output through the light output portion.
SYSTEM FOR COOLING OF COMPUTING COMPONENTS OF AN INFORMATION HANDLNG SYSTEM
A system for cooling of computing components of an information handling system, including a printed circuit board (PCB); a computing card connector coupled to the PCB, the computing card connector including first mating features; a computing card coupled to the computing card connector; and a thermal plate including a first end and a second end positioned opposite to the first end, the second end including second mating features that correspond to the first mating features of the computing card connector, wherein the thermal plate is coupled to the computing card connector at the second end of the thermal plate such that the second mating features of the thermal plate are mated with the first mating features of the computing card connector.
STIFFENER DEVICE FOR AN M.2 TYPE CONNECTOR
A stiffener device is suitable for use with an assembly that includes an electronic mother board, an electronic daughter board, a connector for connecting the daughter board parallel to the mother board, and an element for holding in position the daughter board in relation to the mother board. The stiffener device has a main clamp configured to hold tightly the upper surface and the lateral vertical surfaces of the connector.
INTERPOSER DEVICE
An interposer for connecting a module to an M.2 socket includes a different form factor connector. The interposer includes an M.2 connector to couple the interposer to the M.2 socket. The M.2 connector is formed to mate with the M.2 socket. The interposer includes a different form factor socket to couple the interposer to the module including the different form factor connector. The different form factor socket is formed to mate with the different form factor connector.
CIRCUIT BOARD FOR A SERVER SYSTEM AND SERVER SYSTEM
The invention relates to a circuit board for a server system. The circuit board is adapted to be installed either in a server of a first type or in a server of a second type different from the first type. The circuit board comprises connections (A to H) for receiving assembly groups and a control. The control is adapted to show an order of the connections (A to H) depending on the types.
SERVER AND EXPANSION TRAY THEREOF
A server includes a server motherboard, a limiting element, and an expansion tray. The limiting element has a limiting portion and the limiting element is fixed to the server motherboard. The expansion tray includes a tray body, a driven assembly, and a matching element. The driven assembly includes a positioning element and is fixed to the tray body.
The matching element is fixed to the tray body and the matching element is matched with the limiting element. The positioning element has a first position and a second position. The positioning element is located at the limiting portion in response to the positioning element being located at the second position.
CARD RETAINERS
In an example, a card retainer may include a latch to removably engage with a free end of an expansion card. Further, a card retainer may include a pivot mount to attach the latch to a system board of a computing device. In some examples, the latch is movable about the pivot mount between an open position and a closed position. The latch may exert a bias force on the free end of the expansion card in order to retain the expansion card to the system board in a secure manner when the latch is disposed in the closed position.
MEMORY SYSTEM
According to one embodiment, a memory system includes a first plate, an intermediate member, and a substrate. The intermediate member includes a second plate and a pair of side walls. The second plate includes a first opening, and is arranged to have a gap with respect to the first plate. The second plate includes a first face facing the first plate and a second face located on a side opposite to the first face. The pair of side walls is arranged on the second face. The substrate is placed between the pair of side walls. The substrate includes a third face on which a first non-volatile memory package and a controller package are mounted. The third face faces the second plate. The first non-volatile memory package is thermally connected to the second plate. The controller package is thermally connected to the first plate through the first opening.
